Nintendo Switch 2 will be back in-stock today at Best Buy. Much like it did a couple weeks ago, and right on the heels of Walmart’s re-stock announcement, Best Buy has quietly announced that Switch 2 consoles will be go live again online today.

The Amazon July Prime Day sale is just over two weeks out now, we already have the details on Target’s competitor sale, Best Buy launched its members-only event this morning, and now we know what Walmart has planned. The retailer has now officially announced its big-time July sale as the simply named Walmart Deals event is now scheduled to take flight starting on Tuesday July 8 at 12 a.m. ET. All of the details we have are awaiting down below.

While Switch 2 consoles have been all but entirely sold out online at major retailers since launch week, Walmart has now confirmed it will have more units up for sale starting next week. Both the Nintendo Switch 2 + Mario Kart World bundle and the Switch 2 console will be live on line starting June 25, but you’ll want to head below for the exact times and some additional details. 

It it’s time to take a look at the upcoming Switch 2 game release schedule. The Switch 2 is clearly off to a wonderful start in terms of sales and Mario Kart World has (mostly) been a big hit among gamers, but despite Switch 2 delivering a more or less solid launch lineup as far as new console launches go, there still feels like something is missing for me. That said, there are some wonderful upgraded Switch 1 games to enjoy and whole host of notable titles on the horizon, both this year and next.

Just after unveiling its all-new flagship Gen 2 Ultra earbuds, Bose is also looking to amp up the summer further with its new SoundLink Plus Portable Bluetooth Speaker. Taking after the latest Max model in terms of design, the new Plus variants lands as a mid-size model with a more portable form-factor and a lower price point in three colorways. Mario Kart World and the rest of the Nintendo Switch 2 launch games are out in the wild now, but the next major release on Nintendo’s schedule is Donkey Kong Bananza. The all-new 3D DK game has a ton of Super Odyssey vibes, and we have already had a decent look at the game, but there is still more Nintendo wants to show us before its release on Switch 2 come July 17. And today’s dedicated Donkey Kong Bananza Nintendo Direct presentation starts soon. 

Update 6/20: Target has now informed us its Prime Day competitor sale will actually start on July 6 and run through until July 12.

As we reported previously, Amazon is once again winding up to unleash its first Prime Day event of the year and we now have official confirmation it will kick off the four-day sale event on July 8. This also traditionally indicates some major sales from the competition, including the likes of Best Buy and Walmart, but according to our sources, the next Target Circle Week is getting ready to take on the Prime Day event on July 13 July 6.

Reports suggest SEGA is about to discontinue support for a host of its classic games ported to iOS and Android, but it has also made them all FREE and removed in-app purchase requirements as well. We knew it was coming, but Amazon has now officially revealed the dates for Prime Day 2025. The July Prime Day event will take place from July 8 through to July 11. Amazon is taking things up a notch this year, expanding the usual 2-day event to four with “millions of deals” and a new “Today’s Big Deals” feature with a rotating series of deals from “from top brands like Samsung, Kiehl’s, and Levi’s.” All of the details are down below. 

Nintendo has now officially announced a dedicated Donkey Kong Bananza Direct showcase scheduled for later this week. After the debut of Mario Kart World on launch day earlier this month, the next major Switch 2 exclusive scheduled to launch for the next-generation console is now over a month away and we will all be getting more details on Donkey Kong’s new 3D adventure in this week’s Direct showcase.

Spigen is expanding its C1 accessory lineup – you know, the gear designed after the iconic iMac G3 – with an all-new Apple Watch charger stand. The new C1 charger stand follows in the footsteps of the C1 iPhone case, MagSafe wallet, and more, featuring a semi-transparent and vibrantly-colored shell directly inspired by the Jony Ive-designed iMac G3 – the first major Apple product release under Steve Jobs. 

Update: The mention below regarding the inner flap needing to be longer might actually be a bigger problem than it first appeared after the first week of testing. You should avoid this case as the inner zipper might damage the Switch 2 if you’re not super careful with it.

There’s loads of Switch 2 cases out there already, but the fabric-like finish and minimalist approach of the Spigen Klasden caught my eye. If you’re into the flashy, colorful models, you’ll want to look elsewhere, but if you like what you’re seeing from the Klasden in the images, head below for some hands-on impressions.

I’ve been on the hunt for a new portable SSD solution and, despite some of the issues its drives have had in past years, SanDisk’s Extreme lineup has been a reliable one for me so opted to test out the latest SanDisk Extreme PRO with USB4. While data transfer speed rates have been spotty at times without modern Thunderbolt 5 ports, it has otherwise been a reliable solution worth considering for all but the most hardcore professionals out there. Today, Bose is unveiling the next-generation of its flagship wireless earbuds with the new QuietComfort Ultra Earbuds (2nd Gen). The previous models are widely considered to be among the best options out there, going toe-to-toe with Apple’s AirPods Pro 2 and Sony’s XM5 buds, but now Bose is going to be the first to jump into the next-generation with what could be anywhere from 6 months or (much) more of a head start on the expected upcoming AirPods Pro 3. The new edition brings everything we already know and love about the current version alongside some key improvements in the adaptive noise cancellation, voice pickup, and wireless charging departments. 

While most of the major summer gaming showcases are behind us now – Summer Game Fest, PlayStation State of Play, and the Xbox Game Showcase, Konami’s Press Start starts now (at 9 a.m. ET). Best Buy has now officially confirmed it will have limited Nintendo Switch 2 inventory online today. In a surprise move, and after skipping out on online orders for launch week, Best Buy has sent out an email specifically stating that it will have more Switch 2 console units in-stock today (June 11). 

Nomad is not only one of the premiere Apple gear accessory makers out there, but also a personal favorite of mine. Summer Game Fest 2025 is set to take the stage today for lengthy live stream directly from YouTube Theater in California. The fifth annual gaming showcase has quickly become one of, if not, the biggest event of the gaming calendar (save for the Switch 2 bonanza this year of course), and it is once again set to debut hours worth of game reveals, world premieres, updates, and much more. 

We are now onto day 2 of the Switch 2 launch. We saw another short blast of console availability early this morning at Target (we will keep a close eye throughout the day for more), but we wanted to once again highlight all of the new Switch 2 releases that are still in stock (at the time of writing) as well as touch down to inform folks about a couple new eShop sales that went live over the last 12 hours or so: the Devolver Digital event from $2.50 loaded with some brilliant indies and the Monster Hunter eShop sale from $10. But now it’s on to the Switch 2 games  now available for purchase that released yesterday.

Nintendo Switch 2 is now available at Target, including both the Nintendo Switch 2 Console and Nintendo Switch 2 + Mario Kart World Bundle. While it wasn’t the midnight ET we and other folks thought it might be – it took until a few hours later for Target’s listings to go live but they are still holding strong if you’re looking to grab a console this morning and they might not (probably won’t) last for much longer. Go, go, go!

Nintendo Switch 2 has now officially released and is available for purchase online (or will be very soon – midnight ET). Years in the making, and years of waiting, it has finally happened and the next-generation of Nintendo gaming is now out in the wild. If you’re not picking up your pre-order in-store, waiting for it to land on your doorstep tomorrow morning, or lining up to buy one on location right now, Walmart and others now have the new console up for sale!

Switch 2 finally released early this morning at midnight, and while the fresh online re-stock at retailers like Walmart, GameStop, and Costco was limited at best, not all is lost. There are additional Switch consoles scheduled to go live starting as early as later tonight and we are once again here to make sure you get a shot at them.

Update 6/4: HORI’s officially-licensed Nintendo Switch 2 Piranha Plant Camera is now back in-stock at Walmart.

The all-new Nintendo Switch 2 Camera is cool and all. It has some sweet tracking features, appears to seamlessly integrate into a number of Switch 2 exclusive games, and we had a blast testing it out in person yesterday alongside Switch 2. But it’s not a Piranha Plant, and it can’t close its mouth like this official-licensed HORI Switch 2 cam that recently surfaced online. 

Today, during the PlayStation of Play, Sony officially revealed Project Defiant, the “the first wireless fight stick designed by Sony Interactive Entertainment for PS5 and PC.” Scope out the details down below.

We already assumed that Switch 2 would being live at midnight online tonight, but now GameStop has made it official. Best Buy has confirmed it is only offering units in-store tonight, Target said it won’t have units online until June 6, and Walmart has confirmed units will be available on June 5 without quite mentioning the midnight ET start time we expect, but GameStop will for sure.
