Ever wanted a backpack for your iPhone? No, not a backpack to put your iPhone in, an actual iPhone backpack. The all-new Spigen Snapzip MagSafe Pouch Organizer, or mini MagSafe iPhone bag, just surfaced on Amazon at $36.99 to take the MagSafe wallet category to a whole new level.

The hype and marketing train towards the launch of Nintendo Switch 2 rolls on today as Nintendo and the Seattle Marines have announced expansion of their long-standing relationship – the 2025 Mariners jerseys will feature a Nintendo Switch 2 logo this year.

Today we are tracking what quite possibly might be the most rare deal on an official piece of Apple gear we have ever seen. Woot is now offering the official Apple Polishing Cloth down at $6.99 Prime shipped (a $6 delivery fee will apply otherwise). Regularly $19, still fetching as much over at Amazon, and just about never on sale, this is 63% off and the lowest price we can find on Apple’s venerable Polishing Cloth.

Yesterday Amazon officially announced its upcoming Prime Spring Deal event, and Walmart has now done much of the same. Just like during Black Friday and Prime Day events, Walmart isn’t going to let Amazon have all of the fun, having now officially announced its upcoming Super Savings Week event to take on Amazon’s upcoming Big Spring Sale. Hey below for the start times and a preview of the deals.

I am a big proponent of metal and leather Apple Watch bands, but I do like me some more comfortable fabric models in casual situation, and the new Spigen Athlex Air immediately caught my eye when it surfaced for the first time earlier this month. The brand tends to make super affordable gear that’s much better than the price tags suggest, and now it’s time to strap one on and see if that’s true for the new Athlex Air as well.

We could be getting a new official Nintendo GameCube controller for Switch 2. Over the life span of the current-generation Switch, Nintendo released a few vintage-style controllers pulled straight from the vaults, but with upgraded wireless Bluetooth specs. The official Super NES, original Nintendo Entertainment System, Genesis, and N64 gamepad remakes already exist and were in direct support of the corresponding Switch Online libraries, but it looks like a GameCube model could be in the works for Switch 2.

The brand new C5 and G5 series LG OLED smart TV lineups have arrived with some notable bonus savings on sound bar add-ons and FREE installation, but the 2024 models are still fantastic options (if you ask me) at much lower prices, and we have some sweet price drops today. BuyDig tends to have some of the best prices on these LG OLEDs and today is no exception with solid discounts on both the G4 and C4 models coming along with hundreds in FREE Visa gift cards you can use to buy just about anything. Hit the jump for a closer look at the deals.

Amazon has now officially announced its upcoming Prime Spring Deal event – the Big Spring Sale. Over the last few years Amazon has hosted a pair of major summer and fall Prime Day sale events alongside its usual Black Friday and holiday sales, but it is also once running its Big Spring Sale in 2025 and it all starts on March 25. Head below for all of the details on Amazon’s next massive sale event.

Update: LEGO has now officially announced LEGO Pokémon! You can watch the official teaser video right here.

Electrify your imagination in 2026 and get ready to build something we’ve never built with LEGO® bricks before! LEGO® Pokémon™ is a brand-new collaboration that brings your love for bricks and your love for Pokémon together. In 2026, we’re calling all Pokémon Trainers to get ready to build and catch some of their favorite Pokémon!

LEGO Pokémon is coming! We think anyway. While we can’t confirm with 100% certainty that this one is true, it very much appears as though LEGO just accidentally leaked its upcoming Pokémon collab. Reports surfaced across the internet this morning claiming LEGO just leaked its upcoming crossover with The Pokémon Company by way of a teaser video that has since been taken down – you can check it out below though.

Just when it started to feel like the Switch 2 launch leaks were starting to slow down in favor of well-respected industry analysis and the like, a reliable leaker claims to have been told when to expect the Switch 2 launch while also providing some insight on potential third-party launch titles we haven’t heard about just yet otherwise.

Last week Hideo Kojima took the stage at SXSW for a lengthy sit down where one of gaming’s most celebrated creators debuted a new 10-minute trailer for the upcoming Death Stranding 2: On the Beach. Alongside new details on the game and some gameplay footage, we also got caught the June 26 release date and details on the epic Collector’s Edition of the game that is set to go up for pre-order this morning.

This week Sony both unveiled and unleashed the new Astro Bot PlayStation 5 console bundles – both the all-digital and disc versions are now available for purchase at Amazon and elsewhere. What for some might just seem like another cash grab from Sony in hopes of bolstering hardware sales deep into its console cycle is actually quite a notable value. While there are plenty of gamers out there already more than set with the console they already have, if not still targeting a PS5 Pro model instead, the Astro Bot PS5 bundle is one of the best values in PlayStation hardware we have seen in quite a long time.

Welcome to 9to5Toys News Weekly – your go-to spot to catch up on the latest new product releases, features, and hands-on reviews. This weekly roundup collects all of the coolest new gadgets, the most interesting updates in the world of tech, and more from the past week, and organizes it into a single handy reading list for you to sift through every Sunday morning.

There have been a ton of rumors on Switch 2 ahead of the official April 2 Direct presentation, some far more reliable and interesting than others. While we had some firm new details coming by way of an FCC report as well as some hints at new features via patent filings and the like, not to mention trusted industry insiders with solid track records dishing up the goods, but a new report from Bloomberg and “analysts who regularly communicate with [Nintendo] and its software and hardware partners” might be one of the most compelling yet.

I am not a big fan of MagSafe wallets in general, but these lockable models have been real attention grabbers around here over the last few months, and I thought it was time to see what all the fuss was about. Today we are hands-on with one of the more popular options known as the Spigen TinTap, so let’s dive in and see how this thing feels in action.

The AirTag 2 might be inbound soon, but Elevation Lab has been on a roll this year already, delivering some of the best and most interesting AirTag accessories and mounts you’ll find anywhere. You will, after all, likely need a way to repurpose and put the AirTags you already have to good use, even if you pick up the new model when it releases, and the brand has now unleashed its next add-on – the AirTag Strap Compact. Available for purchase starting from $15 Prime shipped, you can get a closer look below.

SANDMARC has now unleashed its “most powerful zoom lens yet” for iPhone users, and we have an exclusive deal for our readers on the brand new release. We previously came away incredibly impressed with the reach and build quality on the Telephoto 6x lens attachment – here’s our hands-on review, but SANDMARC has now taken it up a notch with its brand new Telephoto 10x for iPhoneographers. Head below for a closer look and details on how to score our exclusive deal.

There are more than a few burning question up on the air surrounding the launch of Nintendo’s Switch 2 – how much will it cost? What is the release date? What are the launch games? But with the way console launches went over the last generation, many folks are also asking if they’ll even be able to buy one without getting burned on eBay at exorbitant prices. There are two major factors at play here – how many units Nintendo will actually be able to get stateside before pre-orders go live and the console’s subsequent release, as well as how much overtime the scalper bots will be working when listings do go live online. Nintendo has already addressed the latter, and we might have some insight on the former courtesy of some recently surfaced information from dataminers.

We are quickly approaching the upcoming official Nintendo Switch 2 Direct presentation on April 2, and Nintendo has just announced the grand opening of its second flagship store in the US. Presumably offering gamers another official location to lineup at midnight for a chance to be the first to score the new Switch 2 console, the new location is set open its doors for the first time on May 15 in San Francisco’s iconic Union Square. Head below for more details and details on a chance to win a trip to the new brick and mortar Mushroom Kingdom locations.

Update: Both the all-digital and disc versions of the new Astro Bot PlayStation 5 console bundles are still up for grabs at Amazon folks:

• PlayStation 5 Console (Slim) – ASTRO BOT Bundle $450 ($110 in savings)
• PlayStation 5 Digital Edition (Slim) – ASTRO BOT Bundle $400 ($110 in savings)

Earlier this week Sony unveiled the new Astro Bot PS5 Slim console bundle and it is now available for purchase at Best Buy and Amazon. While, considering how late into the console cycle we are, most PlayStation gamers are likely looking to land a PS5 Pro or one of those sweet PS1-style consoles, if anything at all, the new Astro Bot bundle has arrived nonetheless and comes with some notable overall savings, not to mention the 2024 Game of the Year.

We have hit the mid-week point and it’s that time of the afternoon when we roundup all of the most notable deals on the Google Play store for your Android gear. A big-time $230 price drop with no strings attached landed on the Galaxy Watch Ultra this morning at $230 off while Galaxy S25, S25+, and S25 Ultra smartphones are now up to $300 off. Those offers join a new all-time low on Samsung’s 2025 Galaxy Book 5 360 AMOLED touchscreen Copilot+ PC, but for now it’s on to the apps. We have solid price drops on all six of the classic Final Fantasy titles alongside Romancing SaGa 3 and more. Hit the jump for a closer look.

The official launch of Switch 2, gaming’s most anticipated release of the year, is quickly approaching and some new details have come to light regarding a potential major upgrade to its voice chat system.

The brand new LG OLED evo G5 and LG OLED evo C5 are now available for pre-order directly from the brand for the first time after being unveiled earlier this year. LG’s G and C series OLED smart TVs have some of, if it not, the most popular OLED options on the market, 9to5toys staffers and readers included. Both of the new models are now up for pre-order starting today with some extra bonuses – FREE wall mounting or stand setup and up to $200 in extra savings on select LG Soundbars when bundled in with purchase. You’ll find additional details and a rundown of the new OLED evo G5 and LG OLED evo C5 down below.

The Arc Pulse bumper cases have easily been among the most popular iPhone 16 covers and cases we have featured since the debut of Apple’s latest handsets, and the brand has just introduced the all-new, limited edition Aurora Blue model. This new iPhone 16 Pro Max bumper from the brand once again features that aerospace-grade aluminum we have come to love from Arc, but this time with a blueish, color-changing treatment that will make your handset standout from the crowd even more than its usual Arc Pulse models. You can still use our exclusive 9TO510 promotion code to score a deal on the standard models, but be sure to head below for a closer look at the new Aurora Blue.

Spigen has been releasing some of our favorite budget-friendly Apple Watch bands for years now – the Lite Fit is a particular highlight – and its latest has just surfaced on Amazon. The new Athlex Air model is arriving today with a sporty fabric approach akin to Apple’s Trail Loop, just with some extra hits of stitched detailing and at a fraction of the price. Now available for purchase in four colorways at $19.99 Prime shipped, you can get a closer look down below.

We are tracking some seemingly notable price drops on Samsung’s latest Galaxy Buds 3 and Galaxy Buds 3 Pro right – they are down at $139.99 and $209.99, respectively, on Amazon and you’ll find even lower prices on “International Versions” via Woot right now. Some of these offers are matched directly on the Samsung site as well, down from the regular $180 and $250, but the question is are they actually as good as they might seem at a glance?

Sony has now officially unveiled the new PlayStation 5 Astro Bot console bundle. While the Mushroom Kingdom took over the internet yesterday for Mario Day 2025, we wanted to touch down this morning to make sure folks interested in picking up a new PlayStation console didn’t miss this one. The question is, do you get that awesome Astro Bot controller? And is there anyone out there wants a copy of the 2024 Game of the Year winner not already have one?

Happy Mario Day folks! Today is Mario’s big day to shine and we have already delivered our master hub, organizing all of the best Switch game deals, eShop offers, LEGO promotions, a FREE Switch Online trial, and a whole lot more. While you will find a giant selection of Mario game deals below, we wanted to give Mario’s long-time friend ( or arch nemesis, depending on what game you’re playing) some love this morning too. Woot is now offering the Donkey Kong Country Returns HD remake on Switch down at one of the best price ever, with physical boxed copies at $41.99 Prime shipped (a $6 delivery fee will apply otherwise). Regularly $60, we have seen a number of chances to scoop up a copy of this one at $45, but today’s 30% off is the best price we have tracked outside of some limited-time YMMV and in-store offers. You’ll find all things Mario Day 2025 right here as well as a list of the best game deals right here and down below.

While Kojima fans might have the new Metal Gear Solid Delta Snake Eater on the top of their mind right now, the famed video game auteur has been hard at work readying the release of Death Stranding 2, and we now have the official release date, details on pre-orders, a new 10-minute trailer, and a look at the epic new Collector’s edition too.

Update 3/16: The official Mario Day 2025 deals are scheduled to end tonight – that includes most retailer deals on physical games as well as the eShop sale, the FREE Switch Online trail promotions, and more.

Mario Day has officially arrived and this si the place to find all of the deals, promotions, new product launches, and more. Also known as MAR10, by this point just about all Nintendo fans know March 10 is officially Mario’s big day to celebrate the world famous plumber’s many adventures, both new and old – we have already brought you the Mario Day Switch game deals (there’s even more of those to come) alongside the eShop discounts, LEGO’s Super Mario celebrations, and there’s even more to come. Head below for a closer look.

We are quickly closing in on the scheduled official Nintendo Direct showcase for Switch 2 – it is now just over 3 weeks away folks – and some new details on the console have surfaced courtesy of an official Federal Communication Commission (FCC) filing. Previously patens all but confuted the existence of mouse mode for the new Switch 2 Joy-Con alongside a reversible display and a look at the drawings of a new charger, but FCC report that has now surfaced is giving us some official details on NFC support, dual USB-C charging, and more.

It’s was all about Mario Day this past week, from the official jetBlue Mario plane right through to the deals that are now live on Switch games, but we also have some hands-on reviews, including Spigen’s new AirTag competitors, alongside the new Last of Us Limited Edition DualSense wireless controller, Ninja’s new more affordable portable Artisan Outdoor Pizza Oven, and more.

The official Mario Day 2025 game deals are set to go live today folks! The eShop digital Switch game deals for MAR10 went live a few days back – details on those are right here – and the physical Nintendo game deals are set to go live today at Amazon, Target, Best Buy, Walmart, and elsewhere. Nintendo detailed a sneak peak at the first-party games scheduled to go live for this year’s Mario Day festivities back on March 4 when it officially announced this year’s promotions, but just about everything is actually set to go live today some 24 hours before the official March 10 annual Mushroom Kingdom festivities.

We have tracked more than a few chances to save on Apple’s latest run of Alpine Loops, Trail Loops, and even the newest Milanese models…the Ocean Band, not so much. There have been a couple extremely fleeting deals on the new Ice Blue model that lasted a few hours at most, but we just spotted the first price drop and subsequent all-time low on the latest Navy Ocean Band with the Black Titanium Finish at $84 shipped. Regularly $99, this is a straight 15% off and the best price we can find anywhere. The official Ocean Bands are a one-size-fits just about everyone vibe, so this one will likely fit you just fine.

Mario Day 2025 is getting off to an early start as per usual – the official eShop sale is now live from $1.50 and the Nintendo LEGO offers are now up for grabs, but Nintendo also just unleashed a couple new classics for Switch Online members. While we were expecting and might still get some other Mario titles, Nintendo has unleashed a couple of new classic Game Boy titles to its retro Switch Online library and you can go play them right now. Details below.

Update: The PlayStation 5 DualSense Controller – The Last of Us Limited Edition is now available for pre-order at Target.

While Head of Creative Neil Druckmann might have just said we might not ever see The Last of Us III – I’ll believe it when I don’t see it – PlayStation has now just revealed the first-look at the brand new DualSense wireless controller – The Last of Us Limited Edition. Scope it out down below in the reveal trailer alongside pre-order details.

Early pre-order deals on the brand new iPad (A16) at up to 50% off, the M3 iPad Air at up to $650 off with trades (up to $50 off without), and the M4 MacBook Air from just $449, but for now we are focused on the Thursday App Store deals. This morning also saw clearance pricing on the 24GB M3 MacBook Air models at $500 off the original price alongside the return of Black Friday pricing on the most affordable M4 iPad Pro, and as for today’s app highlights, we have titles like The Last Game, Candleman, Little Big Workshop, Snap Markup, and more. Hit the jump for a closer look.

There has been some talk regarding a second screen functionality for Switch 2, you know, DS-style, but a newly surface patent filing is also pointing at potential magnetic smartphone integration for Nintendo’s new console. We have already seen details on some relatively new patents that all but confirm the magnetic Joy-Con and mouse mode, but it looks as though Nintendo could have some kind of magnetic attachment in the works that could enable a second screen functionality by way of your smartphone for Switch 2, and potentially and entire modular accessory holder system for other devices.

The Discover Samsung sale is in full swing as we are set to move into the day 4 deals of the day shortly, but there’s one particular offer we wanted to make sure folks were aware of. The top-of-the-line unlocked 1TB Galaxy S25 Ultra that just released is now seeing a giant $440 price drop on select colors. While we have seen some major bundle offers on these devices, especially during the pre-order phase, you’re looking at a straight up, no strings attached $440 price drop on the spec’d out flagship S25 Ultra here – this is the best cash deal we have tracked to date.

Yesterday we detailed some major opportunities for saving on the brand new M3 iPad Air pre-orders, and this morning we are looking the new iPad (A16) Apple unveiled yesterday – the upgraded iPad 10. While for some this is an underwhelming, Apple Intelligence-free model in the lineup, for me it delivers a ton of value as a family- and wallet-friendly solution that now ships with double the storage and a 30% faster chip over the previous-generation, all while remaining at the lower price point Apple introduced last spring. While the new model is up for pre-order at Amazon now, Best Buy is now offering up to $175 off with trade-ins of even the base 64GB model, effectively delivering a price at $174 on the new A16 model. Details below.

Alongside the reveal and subsequent pre-order deals we have featured on the brand new M4 MacBook Air, the iPad (A16), and the new M3 iPad Air, Apple unleashed its new spring collection of cases, Apple Watch bands, and more. We detailed these new colorways over at 9to5Mac yesterday, but we happen to just spot the brand new Aquamarine iPhone 16 Silicone Case with MagSafe and Camera Control down at just $22.99 with free shipping for Prime members or in orders over $35. This is a regularly $49 that was literally just unveiled yesterday and is now sitting one of the lowest prices we have ever tracked for any official Apple iPhone 16 cases. Note: it is currently listed as “temporary out of stock” at Amazon right now, but you can still lock-in the discounted price tag.

Update 2: Pre-order listings are now live on Amazon for both the 13-inch and 15-inch M4 MacBook Air configurations.

Update: On top of the trade offers below, Best Buy’s paid My Best Buy members can also score $50 off select all configurations without a trade-in.

While we are still tracking some deep discounts on the now previous-gen M3 models, Apple has officially unleashed the new M4 MacBook Air with a new Sky Blue colorway, and we are already tracking some notable pre-order savings opportunities. While for some folks the M3 Air they might have just scooped up over the holidays or with this year’s re-stock is just fine still, those looking to trade up for the new M4 model (or the sweet Sky Blue) colorway can flip a base model 16GB/256GB to score $550 off the new model at Best Buy right now. Details below.

Today we are taking a hands-on look at the new Spigen Tag Me item locators – the brand’s latest AirTag competitors that surfaced earlier this year. They might be about half the price of an AirTag, the question is whether or it’s worth saving the cash or not? Head below for some hands-on impressions of the new Spigen Find My AirTag competitors.

Update: The new M3 iPad Air models are now available for pre-order at Amazon:

• Apple 11-inch M3 iPad Air from $599
• Apple 13-inch M3 iPad Air from $799

Apple unleashed its all-new M3 iPad Air lineup this morning and we are now tracking elevated trade-in rates and straight up deals for Best Buy members looking to upgrade from the M2 model (or anything else for that matter). Best Buy is now offering as much $650 off the M3 iPad Air starting today when you flip your M2 Air against your pre-order of the new model – providing it is in good condition anyway. The details are below.

The new Apple Find My-equipped Nomad Tracking Card is making its worldwide debut today. I have talked on end about these slim card-style wallet trackers in the past, posted on social about how much I love them, and now one of our favorite Apple accessory brands is entering the space for the first time. It will be available for purchase directly from the official Nomad site at any time now, but be sure to head below for more details and some of our early hands-on impressions of the new Nomad Apple Find My Tracking Card.
