Official details on the 2025 Target Black Friday sale have just been revealed. While we are still awaiting a complete picture of its end of the month offering, and it is still running a Halloween sale at the moment, we do have official information on what to expect throughout the month of November, and it all kicks off this Sunday. Nintendo has now officially launched Luigi’s Mansion for the GameCube Nintendo Classic library. As we reported previously, and after teasing the game months ago, Nintendo has launched the retro ghost hunting action right on (ahead of) schedule. 

Update: The new Resident Evil Requiem Switch 2 Pro Controller is now up for pre-order at Best Buy. 

As soon as we get through the year, Resident Evil Requiem will quickly become the most anticipated thing in gaming, if it isn’t already, and no matter what platform you want to play it on. Alongside pre-order listings for the new RE9 going live across console and PC, a brand Resident Evil Requiem Nintendo Switch 2 Pro controller has been revealed alongside the announcement of upcoming amiibo and details on the deluxe edition and pre-order bonuses. Pre-orders for all platforms are starting to appear on Amazon and over at Best Buy.

As Nintendo previously announced, the next additional to the Switch 2 Nintendo Classics GameCube library is officially set for release tomorrow. Much as we predicted, the original Luigi’s Mansion for GameCube is arriving just in time for Halloween this year and all eligible Switch Online members with a Switch 2 will be able to dive in starting…as early as tonight.

It’s time for an early look at what Lowe’s has in store for Black Friday. We have already seen some early details and Black Friday adds from major retailers like Best Buy, Walmart, Costco, and more, and this morning the early Lowe’s Black Friday ad has surfaced online. 

Black Friday 2025 deal season is officially upon us. Official ad scans of next month’s sales are already starting to arrive from Costco, Sam’s Club, and others, while major retailers like Walmart and Best Buy have already officially detailed this year’s deal schedule. It seems as though retailers are becoming more and more vague about what the actual deals will be come Black Friday in ads and early marketing materials. Costco is, to some degree, one of these retailers and it is already teasing a notable upcoming PlayStation 5 deal. 

The 2025 Walmart Black Friday sale details have now officially been announced. Much like we have see from the competition, Walmart has now revealed its plans for Black Friday 2025, starting with tiered deal event that is set to kick off on November 14. We have now uncovered an early look at the official Costco Black Friday 2025 ad. The national retailer will be kicking off a month long savings event starting Halloween day and rolling right through November with a mid-month event starting on November 17, followed by the main events thereafter. Early details on upcoming Black Friday sales are starting to surface, first with Best Buy laying out its entire holiday schedule leading right up to the main event (it starts on October 31) and next with an early look in the Sam’s Club Black Friday doorbuster ad, and now it’s time to look ahead towards the Amazon Black Friday 2025 sale event.

The worst kept secret in Switch 2 ports is now official. After the better part of a year’s worth of leaks, rumors, and hints straight from Ubisoft, an official trailer for Assassin’s Creed Shadows on Switch 2 just hit the official Nintendo YouTube channel. 

Nintendo Direct goes live again this morning, and it’s all about the new Kirby Air Riders. As was officially announced earlier this week, Nintendo will livestream its next Direct presentation very soon on its official channels to give us another particularly lengthy look at the new Kirby racing title. 

Let’s take an updated look at all of the games confirmed for the Switch 2 GameCube library. Nintendo debuted the Nintendo Classics GameCube collection the same day Switch 2 launched this past summer with three titles and has steadily been updating it alongside the rest of the Switch Online retro libraries.

A new patent suggests something might already be on the works.

Update 10/14: The Assassin’s Creed Shadows Switch 2 release date has now leaked courtesy of a particularly reliable source – the game is expected to launch in Europe on December 5 – that likely means it will be right around then in the U.S. as well, if this date is indeed the real thing. This source also claims an official announcement will hit on or before November 7. 

Assassin’s Creed is in the news again to start the week, and this time it’s not for the somewhat controversial new Mirage Valley of Memory expansion – the Switch 2 version of Assassin’s Creed Shadows has leaked again. And this time we get a look at the box art. 

It looks like every official upcoming Pokémon project in the works at GameFreak has leaked. Sources who claimed to have datamined the developer’s roadmap from internal files have released details on a series of as of yet un-announced Pokémon titles, including the official Gen 10 Switch 2 game, and a series of other titles.

The My Nintendo Store Switch 2 pre-order invites have gone out and that means the first chance to score one of the new wireless GameCube controllers has too, but the actual Switch Online GameCube library won’t launch until June 5 when the Switch 2 does. Nintendo announced that it would be bringing GameCube to its classics library for Switch Online + Expansion Pack members alongside the Switch 2, but there are a few things you need to know about it and we’ll have a look at all of the games we know are coming to the service thus far down below.
