A little over a month after Xbox confirmed the release date of its upcoming gaming handhelds, the ROG Ally and ROG Ally X are now available for pre-order. That also puts an end to all the speculation around pricing. The ROG Ally is priced at $599.99 shipped, while the more powerful ROG Ally X comes in at $999.99 shipped. The standard ROG Ally, which comes in white, can be pre-ordered from Amazon, Best Buy, and Walmart. Microsoft’s upcoming Xbox-branded ROG Ally handhelds have been making headlines since their official announcement last month. And now, just a day after Xbox confirmed the devices will be showcased at Gamescom, a new report appears to reveal the pre-order dates. According to billbil-kun, the new Xbox ROG Ally and Ally X gaming handhelds will be available for pre-order starting on August 20, 2025. This is in line with when we were expecting the handhelds to go on sale, so they would land on everyone’s doorstep just in time for the holidays. After unveiling the ‘world’s first 5K2K-resolution bendable OLED display’ earlier this year in January, LG is now back again with another world’s first – this one particularly aimed at competitive gamers who love speedy displays. We’ve tested a bunch of chargers here at 9to5Toys, and while there are plenty of good ones that we continue to recommend, most of them fall short somewhere or the other – be it when it comes to the number of devices it can charge or the overall output it can deliver simultaneously. MagSafe wallets are a great alternative to traditional wallets, especially if you prefer to travel light with just a couple of cards and little to no cash. I personally love the convenience – they let me leave my regular wallet behind and carry one less item every time I step out. Having said that, I’m yet to find the one that checks all the right boxes for me. Most MagSafe wallets I’ve tried either don’t have enough space and barely fit one or two cards, or they don’t feel sturdy enough to keep my cards securely in place.
