Lara Croft, Hitman and Deus Ex GO are all marked down from $5 to $1.99 each today. However, The GO Trilogy with all three titles is just $4.99 right now. While each of them dropped to just $1 during the holidays last year and once back in February, this is the best price we have seen on all three since. They combine for a 4+ star rating from around 15,000 gamers.

After the official reveal of the Xbox One X, we have seen a number of very notable deals on Microsoft consoles. Sony has now kicked of a Mid-Year Sale on PSN. As usual we are seeing a large selection of PS4, PS3 and Vita deals from under $1. This time around we are actually seeing some really notable PS4 deals on the remastered God of War III and Ratchet & Clank, among others. The Disney Afternoon Collection, which was announced just a few months ago, is available for just $13.99. That’s matching the lowest price we have tracked, as it still goes for $20 on Amazon and $16 for GCU members on Best Buy. And remember, PS Plus members will get an additional 8-12% off these already reduced prices.

Nintendo officially announces the new SNES Classic Edition mini console

  • Nintendo has officially confirmed that pre-orders for the SNES Classic Edition will go live at “various retailers later this month”. The company also added that a “significant amount of additional systems will be shipped to stores on launch day” and “throughout the calendar year”.
  • We are starting to see pre-order listings appear at Amazon, Walmart and Best Buy for the SNES Classic. Although they are not live, be sure to bookmark these pages and get ready for pre-orders to begin. Chances are this thing is gonna constantly sell out and come back in stock even before it releases.
  • Don’t worry Nintendo is extending the length of the cords on the SNES Edition’s 2 included controllers. While still not ideal, the new 5-foot cables are a welcomed addition. That’s about 2-feet longer than the disastrous cords on the NES Edition mini.
  • According to a statement from Nintendo (down below), the company does intend to produce more SNES Editions than it did for the NES Edition. It will ship the units from September 29th until the end of the calendar year, with it has no announcements for anything beyond that.

Back in April rumors began to surface online about the existence of the fabled SNES Classic Edition. Nintendo officially announced that it would cease production on the NES Classic Mini, suggesting that it would become even more impossible to ever get your hands one than it already was. However, a report from Eurogamer hinted that not all was lost, as Nintendo was reportedly already deep in development on what would become the Super Nintendo Entertainment System Classic Mini Edition. At the time, it seemed to good to be true even with some of the setbacks the orignal re-release suffered including tiny wired controllers and a fixed number of built-in games. But none of that matters now, Nintendo has officially announced the new SNES Classic Edition.

While we have seen these go free at some point or other, it has been quite a long time for that and these are some of the best tower defense games on the platform. Sega is one of those game publishers rich with iconic IP, characters and classic titles. While it, like Square Enix and other popular property owners from yesteryear, have already begun to capitalize on the mobile marketplace with a series of re-releases, Sega is looking to rebrand its efforts in a major way starting this week.

While you will already find the odd Sonic the Hedgehog game on the App Store, the new Sega Forever program is looking to bring a massive selection of classic Sega games to iOS and Android. Better yet, it will all be completely free. Well, kind of anyway….
