Apple has officially unleashed its next-generation M5 MacBook Air as well as the M5 Pro MacBook Pro, but it has also introduced the world to its new and far more affordable MacBook Neo. This year, with the theatrical release quickly approaching, Nintendo is set to host a dedicated Super Mario Galaxy Movie Direct showcase and it goes live very soon.

Last week Nintendo announced a surprise Nintendo Direct for Mario Day. It is perhaps not the main Direct you were hoping for with a new Mario game for Switch 2 or something, but instead a dedicated Super Mario Galaxy Movie Direct showcase that is set to deliver our final good look at the new film ahead of release.

Nintendo has now officially announced its Mario Day 2026 plans and the official eShop sale is already live. You’ll find loads of digital Mario and first-party Nintendo games, and then some, up for grabs right now. But the physical game deals are scheduled to hit on March 8 – that’s this upcoming Sunday – and today’s Target weekly ad preview has them on display.

Nobody likes tariffs (almost nobody anyway), and neither does Nintendo. According to reports flooding the interwebs today, Nintendo has filed a lawsuit against the U.S. government to get back some of those golden coins it lost when tariffs initially went in place ahead of the Switch 2 launch.

ORICO makes some pretty neat compact smartphone gear, including docks, SSDs, and enclosures, and the K20 Mini we’re looking at today is one of its newer drives on its catalog. It’s a portable magnetic SSD that snaps onto the back of a MagSafe-compatible iPhone and connects via a short USB-C cable to add quick extra storage. I’ve actually replaced the Crucial X9 I used with my iPhone and MacBook with this drive, and you can learn more about the experience of using this drive below.

Alongside offering the best deals on pre-orders for the new MacBook Neo, M5 MacBook Air, and M5 Pro MacBook Pro, Best Buy is also getting particularly aggressive with the brand new M4-equipped iPad Air lineup Apple just unveiled. It’s not just you, Amazon appears to be down. At this point it seems like just the store is actually down, but it’s hard to say for sure. We started to see some oddities on listings over the last few hours and now it looks like most of its Gold Box page and many of the actual listings pages are either not loading properly or Amazon is in the middle of some kind of visual overhaul.

What is the next-gen Xbox going to be called? Will there even be a next-gen Xbox? Well, it looks like newly appointed Microsoft Gaming CEO Asha Sharma has now not only confirmed there will indeed be a next-generation Xbox console (I think we all assumed there would be), but also some additional details as well.

Lenovo is known for showcasing bold concepts at MWC each year, and this time it’s turning heads with a foldable gaming handheld. It’s one of the first truly compelling use cases we’re seeing for the foldable tech beyond smartphones. Called the Legion Go Fold, this concept device features a display that folds in half to offer a compact 7.7-inch screen that sits between two controller halves when closed, and it expands into a larger 11.6-inch display when unfolded. You can use it in both vertical and horizontal orientations, which makes it a versatile unit. It’s easily one of the most exciting devices to come out of MWC this year, and you can learn more about it in detail below.
