This morning, Epson announced the last addition to its lineup of home theater projectors. The new Cinema 1450 comes in at a whopping $1,500 but promises to soothe many of the issues that plague the less expensive models in this category.
Epson’s latest release does that in a few different ways, most notable is the impressive 4,200 lumen output. That’s some serious light coming out of this projector. This should be enough to shine bright even in outdoor settings. If you’re someone that enjoys a big-screen by the pool, this may be the model to consider.
The Home Cinema 1450 can push out a resolution of 1920 x 1200, with full native HD capabilities. There are two HDMI inputs that can be simultaneously displayed at the same time (think March Madness!). It does have a 16W built-in speaker but you’ll want to connect this beauty to an external source to fully complement your movie night.
Epson will begin shipping its new Home Cinema 1450 on April 17th with a $1,500 price tag.
