IZIP’s 2018 ebike lineup looks fantastic for the cycling commuter

At this point, even if you live in Florida, it’s too cold to ride your bike. That doesn’t stop most people who want to “go green” and help the environment, though. IZIP is a big name when it comes to ebikes, and they’ve just released the 2018 lineup of battery-powered bicycles for customers to purchase. With prices ranging from $1,839 all the way up to $4,599, there should be a bike to fit just about anyone for the upcoming cycling season.

Ebikes are never “cheap”, but they are almost always a more economical solution than buying a car. Being battery driven, ebikes are much cheaper to power than most cars.

The E3 Zuma Step Over bike from IZIP is their entry-level model for 2018. With a starting price of $1,839 shipped, this bike features a battery that will last up to 35 miles on a single charge.

The larger tires on the E3 Zuma mean that it can handle any type of terrain, from simple street cruising to beach-going. When cruising around town, the E3 Zuma will go up to 20mph, meaning you’ll be able to cruise with the best of them and not break a sweat.

You don’t have to use the electric motor when using the E3 Zuma, however. If you’d prefer to bike the old-fashioned way, that still works just fine. Because of that, even when your juice runs out, you won’t be stranded on the side of a road like you are in a car.

The E3 Dash Step Over starts at $2,159 shipped. Going the same max 35 miles on a charge, the E3 Dash is slightly faster than its more budget-friendly little brother, the E3 Zuma.

With a maximum speed of up to 28mph, the E3 Dash is more built for climbing hills and going places quickly than just leisurely cruising around. If the motor doesn’t cut it though, there is an assist mode where both the motor and pedals can be used in tandem for extra power.

IZIP’s E3 Moda Step Over is the companies next upgrade in ebikes and runs $2,999 shipped. With a much more powerful battery, the E3 Moda can travel up to 80 miles on a single charge. Though the E3 Moda has the same top speed of up to 28mph, it also has a built-in 50LUX safety lighting system so you never have to worry about being seen when you’re on the road.

The huge tires also make sure that the E3 Moda will easily conquer any terrain. The battery is very well-hidden on the E3 Moda as well, making it look less like an ebike and more like a regular bicycle.

The E3 Peak DS from IZIP is their most expensive bike and sports some of the nicest features. At $4,599 shipped, the E3 Peak DS isn’t very budget-friendly, but then again, most bikes in this class aren’t. This ebike from iZIP is a fully-built mountain bike, designed to handle the most treacherous of terrains.

With built-in full mountain bike suspension, the E3 Peak DS is designed to make navigating trails easy. With top speeds of up to 20mph, this ebike should help you climb the largest hill with ease. The 27.5-inch wheels and 11-speed drivetrain also mean that you should have no trouble when on back-country paths.

All of the IZIP 2018 lineup is available from their website today. Some models are already out of stock, but just keep your eye out as more should come flooding in soon.
