You can now pre-order Fallout 76 gear, including your very own Pip-Boy 2000

If you ever wished you could be a part of the Fallout world, you will soon be closer to that wish than ever before thanks to GameStop and ThinkGeek. The two companies are working together to release replicas of some of the game’s most iconic equipment. Not only will you be able to wear the equipment, you will actually get to build it yourself.

Many of us enjoyed (and still enjoy) toys that we can build. Legos, erector sets, and model rockets are just a few examples of toys that many of us grew up with before we had as much technology as we could possibly want at our fingertips.

Now that we have all of this technology, sometimes things that initially started as virtual items in games are turned into physical items. In many cases these items serve as great decorations, allowing us to quickly convey some of our interests to the people that enter our home or office.

In many cases you may simply buy posters or action figures and put them in your space, but the new gear being produced by GameStop and ThinkGeek stands apart from all of that by allowing you take in all the intricacies by constructing these pieces yourself.

One of the pieces of gear being produced by the two companies is the Pip-Boy 2000. The construction kit comes with 250 individual parts, the tools needed piece it together, a leather case, and of course, a construction manual.

“The Fallout 76 Pip-Boy 2000 Construction Kit is unlike any product we have sold before for a video game property,” said Ty Liotta, ThinkGeek chief product officer, in a press release. “The combination of high-quality, DIY construction with in-world presentation and precision craftsmanship is completely unique in the consumer product space.”

The Fallout 76 Pip-Boy 2000 Construction Kit is available for pre-order with an anticipated ship date of November 14th, 2018. There are lots of other options, including notorious weapons such as the Plasma Rifle and Pistolstatues, and more.

With all of the options that are available, there is sure to be something that catches your eye and makes the statement that you are a true Fallout fan. Release dates for the gear varies widely, so be sure to check that out prior to purchase.
