Bellroy has now introduced its new iPad mini case known as the Tokyo Folio. Well known for everything from MacBook backpacks and Apple Watch bands to the new iPhone 15 cases we reviewed recently, and its antimicrobial Tech Kit gear organizer I’m still using to this day, Bellroy has now turned its attention to iPad mini users. Now available for purchase in two different colorways, you can get a better idea of what the new iPad Tokyo Folio can bring to your EDC down below.
New Bellroy Tokyo Folio iPad mini case
Bellroy describes its latest as a “modern padfolio” that “bundles your digital and analog tools, so you can work from anywhere and still feel (and look) professional.” It is essentially an 8-inch zippered pouch or sleeve made to perfectly house your iPad mini as well as an iPhone and other accessory essentials whether you’re heading to work or to the coffee shop to get some work done/hang out.
The padded iPad mini case features an “easy-access tablet sleeve” as well as a divided internal slip pocket, a loop to house a pen or Apple Pencil/stylus, and a large external zip pocket for extra accessories, your iPhone, and more.
The whole thing is made of what Bellroy calls a durable, water-resistant exterior fabric with eco-tanned leather accents throughout and metal zippers. You can learn more about the material Bellroy uses on this and the rest of its gear on this page but the short-form version is the brand is “committed to making them environmentally sustainable – using fabrics made from recycled and plant-derived materials, and sourcing leathers with the least environmental impact.”
Two sleeves secure your tablet and a notebook. Internal pockets sort your earbuds and small stuff. Your pen goes in the loop, and your phone and wallet slide in the rear zip pocket.
As a sweet little bonus here, Bellroy is also throwing in what is essentially a free A5 (5 x 8 inch) notebook that its made to slide nicely into the iPad mini case.
