The electric bike market is quickly expanding with new options each month, it seems. However, finding the right fit for your situation can be a daunting task. Klever, a brand out of Europe, has introduced a new line of e-bikes designed to fit your exact needs. Dubbed the ‘X Electric Bike’, the company is using a proprietary drive system that promises to be quieter without sacrificing power. It does it by separating the propulsion system from the drivetrain (unlike most eBike manufacturers). This results in noise levels under 50dB, amongst the quietest on the market today.

Klever has four new models available in its X line with different needs in mind. Its motors start at 250W and top out at a whopping 600W that is capable of reaching speeds of 28mph. Its newest sensor is designed for soccer players with a focus on tracking notable stats while the ball is in play. As you’d expect, it covers distance traveled and calories burned but it also notes the number of ball kicks and touches. AER takes your GoPro and wraps it in a NERF-like package, protecting it while also turning it into an aerial content creation machine.

Watch out Nintendo fans, another retro-inspired NES console will be hitting the market later this year. Unfortunately, this one is going to be much harder to come by. Today, Nintendo announced the new mini Famicom, a miniaturized version of the original console. As you know, we’re just a few months away from the upcoming NES Classic. But this Asia-only release takes a slight different approach.

Most of the improvements here make this Famicom more attractive than what’s coming to the United States. Most notable is the inclusion of two wired controllers (versus one). Nintendo is also including 30 titles on the built-in storage, all of which will be in Japanese. Bad news? It doesn’t include a AC adapter like the new 3DS but does feature HDMI output. The new mini Famicom is set to hit shelves in Asia on November 10th for $59. No word yet on availability for American buyers, but you’ll certainly have to do a little importing to get your hands on it.

Following the success of its Raspberry Pi coding kit, Kano is now looking to expand its lineup of products. Much like the original Kano, kids and adults alike will be able to build these fully-functioning products by following step-by-step instructions.

Following last week’s GoPro event that saw the release of the new Karma drone and HERO5 action camera, eyes around the industry turned to DJI for a response. This morning, it took to the stage to unveil its new Mavic Pro. Built around DJI’s industry-leading technology, it has a foldable design that still maintains many of the features we’ve come to love from the Phantom line.

In fact, the Mavic Pro is now more powerful than its older siblings in some areas. Most notable is an impressive 4.3-mile maximum range. That bests the Phantom 4 by over 25% while still streaming 1080p video. Specs include full 4K video at 30fps and 1080p at 96fps. It has support for RAW files and everything is captured via a 78-degree built-in optics system. The Mavic Pro tops out at 40 miles per hour in the sky, nearly matching the Phantom 4. Like GoPro’s Karma, it has a foldable design and an included remote that still requires a smartphone although it can carry out missions via the app thanks to built-in sensors.

After enjoying a successful crowdfunding round last year, the Podo stick-and-shoot smartphone camera is back for another round. After being announced back in the spring, the first Alexa-enabled smartwatch is finally available for purchase. If there’s anything that our readers love, it’s LEGO and drones. A new project called Flybrix is bringing both together in a DIY kit that encourages builders to take to the skies.
