We have seen some wild Crocs crossover fashion – check the recent Animal Crossing capsule – but the new LEGO Brick Clogs might be the absolute best (worst) of all.

The official Amazon Presidents Day sale got off to an early start this year, as per usual. But the actual day has arrived and that means the clock is ticking to get in on the action. As we warned folks about last week, not all of the best deals were going to make it through the week and last through today – the Google Pixel 10 lineup is a great example of this – but there is still a massive lineup of price drops up for grabs and you have less than 24 hours to get in on many of them – Apple gear, Samsung Galaxy, loads of kitchen appliances, apparel, and much more. 

The official Super Mario Galaxy Movie toys and collectibles are now up for pre-order. The sequel is set to hit the silver screen in early April and a series of the official Jakks Mario Galaxy Movie toys are now available for pre-purchase ahead of the launch starting from $5 at Amazon and Walmart. 

Just after the nationwide launch of Alexa+, Amazon has now kicked off its official 2026 President’s Day sale. While there is still a good chance we see some additional gear get discounted over the weekend and on Monday of next week, there are already some solid early deals live on in-house Amazon Devices. From new all-time low pricing on its latest Echo Show smart displays models – the 8- and 11-inch variants are now undercutting last year’s Black Friday deals – to its latest Echo Dot Max and Echo Studio, you’ll find all of the best early President’s Day offers now live on Amazon tech down below.

Earlier this month high-end pinball machine maker Stern announced an official partnership with The Pokémon Company, and today we are getting our first look and details on the new crossover machines. 

Coming in right behind yesterday’s big LEGO Maersk Dual-Fuel Shipping Vessel reveal, the brick-built company has unveiled five new LEGO Star Wars sets based on the upcoming Mandalorian & Grogu movie that already have fans buzzing in excitement. Alongside a new John Wick game, Castlevania: Belmont’s Curse, the new Metal Gear Solid Collection Vol. 2, and more, Sony also has some God of War news for us (finally). Not only has it officially confirmed a new God of War Greek trilogy remake is in development, but it also revealed and released the new God of War Sons of Sparta. 

Earlier this week Sony officially announced when its first major State of Play showcase of 2026 would be, and that day has arrived. Throughout the year we get our fair share of these things, some far less special than others, and while we aren’t sure exactly what’s on the slate this afternoon, all signs point to this being a serious showcase. 

Alongside the debut of the brand WH-1000XM6 earbuds today, Sony is also expanding its XM6 over-ear headphones lineup as well. Last year’s XM6 headphones launch was a big one for the brand and easily among the most popular releases in the category among readers around here…but there was one thing missing for some folks, and that (not so) smoky pink colorway is finally now available for purchase (or will be momentarily).

Sony is officially launching its next-generation WF-1000XM6 wireless earbuds today. Much like its latest XM6 over-ears, Sony has made improvements across the board here with a next-gen noise canceling processor, its best call quality in a set of earbuds, improved Bluetooth connectivity “in any environment,” access to Google Gemini (and Siri), and an updated bud and case design. They are available for purchase starting now (or will be momentarily).

So far this month, LEGO has given us a few vehicle-related reveals, with the Icons Project Hail Mary set and the Icons Ford Model T set, and now we’re getting the next big unveiling following this trend with the upcoming 40955 Maersk Dual-Fuel Container Vessel. Sadly, unlike those other two, this set isn’t getting any pre-order opportunities ahead of its official release, but folks won’t have to wait long to get their hands on this long-awaited build. Nintendo has just launched its My Mario collection in the US, which was originally introduced in Japan. The My Mario product line has been designed as an easy introduction to the Mario world for very young kids through toys, apparel, books, and simple digital experiences. I was able to get an exclusive hands-on with the entire product line and was even able to bring my four-year-old daughter to see what she thought of these new toys. The My Mario line was built around letting parents and kids explore and play together using iconic characters like Mario, Luigi, Peach, and so many more. Here is what you should know.

The official 2026 Amazon Presidents Day sale is now live. Giving folks a 5-day head start on Presidents Day proper come Monday, Amazon has now flipped over to its annual sale, featuring deals on Apple Watch, Beats headphones, even deeper discounts on Google Pixel 10 gear, a host of its in-house tech – Echo gear, Ring smart, Blink – and much more.

Sony has now taken to the official PlayStation Blog to officially announce the next State of Play game showcase, and it sounds like it’s going to be a big one. 

Amazon has now officially launched its new, smarter, and more conversational Alexa+ AI assistant nationwide as of this morning. While all Prime members can now access it FREE of charge, you’ll need to pay $20 a month otherwise for its updated feature set. JBL is well known for its Bluetooth speaker lineup as well as its larger party and PA-grade sound systems, but it is looking to combine the two with its BandBox releases. The lineup, which includes the more modestly-sized BandBox Solo and the larger and more feature-rich BandBox Trio, combines mic/instrument inputs with AI-powered stem splitters, amp emulation, and more with your usual Bluetooth speaker action. Both models are now available for purchase at Amazon and other major retailers.

As spotted by our cohorts across the virtual hall, Sony appears to have just essentially confirmed its upcoming WF-1000XM6 earbuds with a new teaser trailer on its official YouTube channel. While it hasn’t precisely stated as much, the tech lurking in the shadows here is almost certainly its next-generation earbuds.

Nintendo hosted its first Partner Showcase Direct this morning with a series of updates and announcements. While we now have official confirmation of a host of Bethesda tiles landing on Switch 2 after around a year of speculation – Fallout 4, Elder Scrolls Oblivion, and Indiana Jones and the Great Circle, included – it also quickly reminded folks about the Hollow Knight – Nintendo Switch 2 Edition upgrade pack. 

Nintendo officially confirmed this week’s Nintendo Direct showcases yesterday, and it is set to go live this morning. Rumors and predictions pointed at an official livestream hitting the airwaves in the first week of February and that it very much is, with a full 30-minutes of updates on upcoming Switch and Switch 2 games. 

After sitting is early access mode for Echo customers for quite some time, Amazon has now announced that Alexa+ is now available for everyone. The upgrade AI assistant costs $19.99 per month, but you can score at no additional cost if you’re a Prime member. 

Just after this month’s PS Plus FREE games went live, PlayStation has now launched a major Critics’ Choice sale on the PS Store. We are looking at over 1,700 games and DLC add-ons for titles you already have with deals starting from just $1.99. You’ll find everything from add-on content for recent releases right though to full-on games like the PS5 version of Forza Horizon 5 at 40% off the list price – it is now down from $60 to $35.99. Just be sure to scope out the first gameplay footage and release details for the new  Forza Horizon 6.

Rumor had it we would be getting the next Nintendo Direct this week, and Nintendo has now confirmed as much. The next Nintendo Direct will go live tomorrow at the usual time. Details below. 

Update: The new Belkin UltraCharge Pro 2-in-1 Convertible Magnetic Charger is now available on Amazon in both the black and cream colorways. 

Belkin updated its lineup of wireless magnetic charging stands last summer headlined by the 3-in-1 Belkin UltraCharge Pro 25W. We came away mostly quite impressed with that model after review, but we have just spotted the new Qi2 25W 2-in-1 variant with a foldable design and the brand’s ChillBoost active cooling technology up for sale at Amazon.  

While we await the next title to land in the coveted GameCube library, and just after getting a chance to get an early hands-on look at the new Virtual Boy, Nintendo has just officially revealed a Switch Online February 2026 update with a pair of new additions to the Game Boy library. 

Back at the start of the year, Velotric announced five new e-bikes that would be joining its lineup throughout 2026, and the brand is now offering early-bird perks on the first two models. Update: The new Virtual Boy hardware is now available for purchase directly from Nintendo for Switch Online members. “This product can be purchased by those who have a paid Nintendo Switch Online membership. To play games in the Virtual Boy – Nintendo Classics, you will need an active Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack membership. The Nintendo Switch Lite is not compatible.”

During today’s lengthy Nintendo Direct, we did not get any updates on the Switch Online GameCube library, but Nintendo did officially announce Virtual Boy! It is ready to add an entirely new console to its Nintendo Classics collection in the form of the ultra-retro Virtual Boy library alongside an actual Virtual Boy peripheral you stick your Switch or Switch 2 inside of. Details below.
