Just after seeing $50 price drops go live on the Nintendo Switch 2 + Mario Kart World bundle again this morning, Nintendo has now announced (and launched) its Hits for the Holidays Sale. Target made is final push for deals ahead of the holidays official last week when it announced a last-minute Holiday Countdown Sale. Joining tomorrow’s Super Saturday sale at Amazon, the Target sale event kicks off on Sunday and we are now getting a closer look at the deals as it has now unveiled the official 50-page ad.

One of the biggest stories in gaming of the year, despite the launch of Switch 2, Mario Kart World, and Donkey Bonanza, was Hollow Knight: Silksong. The long-awaited title finally made landfall to rave reviews, and now developer Team Cherry has taken to its official news feed to debut the new teaser trailer for the Hollow Knight: Silksong – Sea of Sorrow expansion and to officially announce the imminent release of an updated version of Hollow Knight for the Nintendo Switch 2. 

UGREEN’s 15W Qi2 3-in-1 MagFlow charger quickly became one of my favorites when I went hands-on with it earlier this year. The new model we’re checking out today builds on it with faster 25W Qi2.2 charging and a more compact design that fits better on smaller desks and packs easily for travel. My wife and I recently moved into a new home, and it came with your standard, no-frills thermostat. In my case, A Honeywell Home ProSeries that has no wifi or smart features of any kind and is as boring-looking as you can get. Nintendo has now officially the next games set to land in its Nintendo 64 Switch Online library. While many folks are really waiting on the next Game Cube additions, Nintendo is turning back to its N64 library this month to introduce a pair of classic 3D polygonal platformers (and they are going live every soon). 

Update: The new Virtual Boy hardware is now available for purchase directly from Nintendo for Switch Online members. “This product can be purchased by those who have a paid Nintendo Switch Online membership. To play games in the Virtual Boy – Nintendo Classics, you will need an active Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack membership. The Nintendo Switch Lite is not compatible.”

During today’s lengthy Nintendo Direct, we did not get any updates on the Switch Online GameCube library, but Nintendo did officially announce Virtual Boy! It is ready to add an entirely new console to its Nintendo Classics collection in the form of the ultra-retro Virtual Boy library alongside an actual Virtual Boy peripheral you stick your Switch or Switch 2 inside of. We have explored many of the best full grain leather-focused accessory brands out there, but a new independent purist straight out on the lone star state was recently picked on our radar – Bluebonnet. After getting our hands-on some of its iPhone 17 cases and Apple Watch bands, we think it should probably be on yours too.
