Amazon is offering Parallels Desktop 13 for Mac at $38.06 shipped. Originally $80, it has dropped down closer to $50 or so over the last several months. Today’s deal is the best price we can find and about half the price of the current generation licenses. More specifically, today’s deal on version 13 is a perpetual license, whereas the current generation version (which goes for between $60 and $80) will only run for a year before you need to renew your subscription. Designed to “seamlessly run Windows applications side by side with macOS” apps, this one will work with macOS High Sierra 12.13 as well as older versions. It also supports Windows 10/8/7/XP plus Google Chrome and Linux. Rated 4+ stars from nearly 75% of the Amazon reviewers. More details below.
