Capcom has officially unveiled Resident Evil 9, or Resident Evil Requiem as it is officially known. Rumors surfaced all over the net the last week about what appeared to be an imminent upcoming reveal, and it is now officially here. Scope out the announcement trailer below.

9to5Toys has it on good authority that Walmart will have a re-stock of Nintendo Switch 2 units tonight! We unfortunately do not have an exact time as to when this might happen but you’ll want to stay locked to our X (Twitter) feed for updates the minute the consoles go live. 

Summer Game Fest 2025 is set to take the stage today for lengthy live stream directly from YouTube Theater in California. The fifth annual gaming showcase has quickly become one of, if not, the biggest event of the gaming calendar (save for the Switch 2 bonanza this year of course), and it is once again set to debut hours worth of game reveals, world premieres, updates, and much more. 

We are now onto day 2 of the Switch 2 launch. We saw another short blast of console availability early this morning at Target (we will keep a close eye throughout the day for more), but we wanted to once again highlight all of the new Switch 2 releases that are still in stock (at the time of writing) as well as touch down to inform folks about a couple new eShop sales that went live over the last 12 hours or so: the Devolver Digital event from $2.50 loaded with some brilliant indies and the Monster Hunter eShop sale from $10. But now it’s on to the Switch 2 games  now available for purchase that released yesterday.

Nintendo Switch 2 is now available at Target, including both the Nintendo Switch 2 Console and Nintendo Switch 2 + Mario Kart World Bundle. While it wasn’t the midnight ET we and other folks thought it might be – it took until a few hours later for Target’s listings to go live but they are still holding strong if you’re looking to grab a console this morning and they might not (probably won’t) last for much longer. Go, go, go!

Nintendo Switch 2 has now officially released and is available for purchase online (or will be very soon – midnight ET). Years in the making, and years of waiting, it has finally happened and the next-generation of Nintendo gaming is now out in the wild. If you’re not picking up your pre-order in-store, waiting for it to land on your doorstep tomorrow morning, or lining up to buy one on location right now, Walmart and others now have the new console up for sale!

Switch 2 finally released early this morning at midnight, and while the fresh online re-stock at retailers like Walmart, GameStop, and Costco was limited at best, not all is lost. There are additional Switch consoles scheduled to go live starting as early as later tonight and we are once again here to make sure you get a shot at them.

Update 6/4: HORI’s officially-licensed Nintendo Switch 2 Piranha Plant Camera is now back in-stock at Walmart.

The all-new Nintendo Switch 2 Camera is cool and all. It has some sweet tracking features, appears to seamlessly integrate into a number of Switch 2 exclusive games, and we had a blast testing it out in person yesterday alongside Switch 2. But it’s not a Piranha Plant, and it can’t close its mouth like this official-licensed HORI Switch 2 cam that recently surfaced online. 

Today, during the PlayStation of Play, Sony officially revealed Project Defiant, the “the first wireless fight stick designed by Sony Interactive Entertainment for PS5 and PC.” Scope out the details down below.

We already assumed that Switch 2 would being live at midnight online tonight, but now GameStop has made it official. Best Buy has confirmed it is only offering units in-store tonight, Target said it won’t have units online until June 6, and Walmart has confirmed units will be available on June 5 without quite mentioning the midnight ET start time we expect, but GameStop will for sure.

Today is the day folks and it all starts very soon. The big Summer Game Fest shows takes the stage on Friday followed by the Xbox showcase this upcoming Sunday, but Sony is kicking off the big summer gaming showcases today before the Nintendo Switch madness ensues later this evening and tomorrow.

Now less than 48 hours from the launch of Nintendo Switch 2, we have some potentially great news for folks who might have had their initial Walmart pre-order cancelled. It seems the retailer is now reversing these cancellations and giving folks a chance to secure their initial pre-order after all. 

Walmart has now officially confirmed with 9to5Toys that it will be offering Nintendo Switch 2 consoles both online and in-store this week. We very much expected Walmart to get in on the action, but it was all speculation up until now.

In our continued countdown to the launch of Switch 2 later this week, we are issuing another quick PSA based on details from the official user manual. That screen protector on the Switch 2 when you open the box isn’t a screen protector at all, and Nintendo is warning users to never remove it.

Update 5/30: While they were already available for pre-order back in April, Arc is officially launching the new Arc Pulse Samsung S25 Ultra bumper cases today. They are now scheduled to begin shipping now.

Today, Arc is launching its wonderful metal Arc Pulse bumper cases for the new Samsung Galaxy S25 smartphones. Up until now, the Arc’s special brand of smartphone protection has only been available on iPhone models, the latest Google Pixel 9 devices, and previous-generation Galaxy handsets, but it is finally ready to begin taking orders on the new S25 Ultra Arc Pulse Bumper Cases. Before you too riled up, not all orders are being cancelled here. The one week countdown to the release of Nintendo Switch 2 is officially on. After years of waiting, and a countless number of rumors and leaks, the Switch 2 release is finally upon us and, while we would have liked to start our countdown off on a happy note, we thought it more pertinent to launch this PSA – loads of folks who thought they secured a Switch 2 pre-order last month are starting to see pre-orders getting cancelled.

A brand well known for delivering affordable smart home solutions – you can score the now previous-generation model for just $29.99 Prime shipped – is ready to debut its newest addition to the family with a series of upgraded features alongside a relatively light-on-the-pocket price tag. Nintendo has a decent selection of updated Switch 2 games scheduled to hits next-generation console as Switch 2 Editions in the coming months. Zelda BotW and Tears of the Kingdom being the two primetime titles alongside upgraded versions of Kirby and the Forgotten Land as well as Super Mario Party Jamboree – Nintendo Switch 2 Edition + Jamboree TV – and Nintendo just debuted a brand new trailer for the latter. The Pokémon company and Nintendo have now officially confirmed that Pokémon Legends: Z-A is set for release on October 16. This includes Pokémon Legends: Z-A for Switch and the Pokémon Legends: Z-A – Nintendo Switch 2 Edition. Head below for more and details on the upcoming pre-order launch. 

Some credible sources already tipped us to upcoming Switch 2 stock at Target, but now it’s official. The national retailer has now updated its Switch 2 landing page on the official site with some details on when you can expect to get another chance to land Nintendo’s highly sought-after next-generation console, in-store and online.

Sony officially announced this year’s Days of Play sale, including the first price drops on PlayStation 5 Pro and some notable discounted PlayStation 5 Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 bundles that deliver up to $120 in savings.
