Nintendo has a serious leak problem right now, as we have already discussed. It seems as though just about all of its major 2026 releases have already surfaced online, leaving very little to the imagination when it comes to the upcoming summer and holiday Switch 2 release schedule. There are couple of other titles that have been mentioned among the leaks and, while they don’t come from sources quite as reliable as some of the others, if they do end up coming to fruition we could be in for a new Wario Land game and a potential new classic Metroid remake this year.

Update 4/3: We have now updated this post with some additional leaked details on some potential upcoming Switch 2 releases.

As we have already reported, there have been some major Nintendo leaks surfacing across the interwebs over the last week or so, much of which coming from folks with solid track records for this sort of thing. While these sorts of early details and rumors were very much expected last year with the launch of the Switch 2, it appears as though much of the Nintendo 2026 launch plans have leaked already. 

There’s no shortage of affordable, budget-friendly gaming keyboards on the market, but only a handful come packed with features that truly come through for gaming. You’re likely to end up with a standard mechanical keyboard when shopping for models under $100, but the EPOMAKER G84 HE we’re looking at today checks all the basics while also bringing some noteworthy extras to the table at this price point. I kept my expectations in check when I started using it as my daily driver for gaming – especially since I was coming from some more premium boards in my collection – but I have to admit it’s proven to be a reliable performer that has consistently earned a spot on my desk alongside the LOFREE Flow 2 wireless model I usually rely on for work. With Apple celebrating its 50th anniversary this week, 8BitDo has unveiled a special version of its Retro mechanical keyboard to mark the occasion. Called the AP50th Limited Edition, this model is built to celebrate 50 years of Apple and it’s inspired by the Apple II with classic beige and brown tones. It features a compact 68-key layout with a full aluminum build, including an aluminum shell, keycaps, and buttons. The limited-edition keyboard is now up for grabs directly from the brand’s online store for a rather hefty $499.99 shipped price, and you can get a closer look at it below along with more details.

Nomad already unleashed its latest Find My-equipped MagSafe Wallet, but it has just issued a new Limited Edition model with its gorgeous Olde Dublin leather treatment. 

The Super Mario Bros. 40th Anniversary celebrations continue after the release of The Super Mario Galaxy Movie in theaters this week as a few new collectibles and goodies have surfaced at retail (or will be very soon). Both Best Buy and Target have new Super Mario Bros. 40th anniversary collectibles up for grabs, including a pair of game cases (they are sort of like a SteelBook case that holds multiple Switch and Switch 2 cartridges).

The LEGO Group is not joking around right out of the April gates, as we’ve already had the newest wave of 15 LEGO sets followed up by the reveal of three new Toy Story builds, and now things are taking a turn towards the World Cup, which officially starts in a few weeks. Not only is the LEGO Group adding some soccer legends to its LEGO Editions theme as minifigures, but we’re also getting some buildable figures, and a massive and gorgeous 1,427-piece wall art, too – all available to pre-order ahead of their releases! Update: PS5 hardware is scheduled to jump up in price at some point today.

Last week Sony announced sweeping and particularly significant upcoming price hikes across the current-generation PlayStation hardware – PS5 is about to get a whole lot more expensive. Starting this Thursday PS5, PS5 Digital Edition, and PS5 Pro are going to be $100 and $150 more expensive and you might want to score one now before that happens. 

While the leaks and rumors regarding upcoming Nintendo plans have slowed to some degree compared to last year’s Switch 2 launch cycle, there have been some seriously exciting tidbits floating around as of late. Not the least of which, some fairly high-profile Nintendo Insiders have already claimed we are in for a complete remake of one of the most celebrated Nintendo titles of all-time: The Legend of Zelda Ocarina of Time. And now it looks as though there’s good reason to believe there will also be a special edition Zelda Ocarina of Time Switch 2 Console. 

Alongside our recent roundup of 15 new LEGO sets that hit the market this morning, we’re now getting an exciting reveal of three new LEGO sets for the Disney and Pixar theme – all of them giving us some long-overdue Toy Story sets. Fans won’t have to wait very long to get their hands on these new sets, with all three also able to secure right now with pre-orders. The new Super Mario Galaxy Movie is hitting theaters today! I will likely be making my way to a local screening this weekend, but for collectors or those who would rather skip the lines and overpriced popcorn, pre-orders for The Super Mario Galaxy Movie Limited Edition SteelBook Blu-ray + Digital are now live alongside some upcoming listings for the The Super Mario Galaxy Movie Collectible Tin edition.

The all-new Anker Nano Power Strip has arrived. The brand is unleashing the newest member of its Nano power lineup today with a unique power strip product that neatly clamps to the side/back of a desk or shelf, leaving a series of USB ports up top and some AC outlets neatly stowed away out of sight underneath. The white is now live on Amazon (the black model is also now live on Amazon but we are still awaiting the white model listing) and the black variant directly on the Anker site.

There have been some notable releases for Switch 2 thus far, but nothing overly remarkable at this point. We have had some notable first-party releases with the new Mario Tennis game and the Super Mario Bros. Wonder expansion, not to mention the surprisingly well-received Pokémon Pokopia. But Nintendo is going to need some heavy hitters to keep the hype rolling this year – will we finally get a new 3D Mario experience? Doesn’t sound like it at this point, but rumor has it a massive Zelda remake is inbound alongside a new Star Fox game and much sooner than later at that.

It’s that time of the months again folks, when all the builders are buzzing with the anticipation of a new wave of LEGO sets hitting the market in April 2026! Unlike last month’s 43-set release, we’re only seeing 15 new builds jumping onto shelves in April 2026, but that doesn’t mean there isn’t plenty to be excited about. Nintendo unleashed the final trailer for the upcoming Super Mario Galaxy Movie earlier this month, but the reveals ahead of the April 1 release aren’t quite done yet – it has now confirmed that Fox McCloud from StarFox is in the film.

Nintendo just recently issued firmware update for Nintendo Switch 2 and, among a series of mostly unexciting, albeit welcomed, updates, there is one particularly notable enhancement here with the new “Handheld Mode Boost.”
