Today, Sony revealed a handful of accessories for the PlayStation 4 console at its TGS press conference in Japan. There will be four new DualShock controller colors (Gold!) and nine hard drive base covers that are slated for release this fall. Head below for more details.

Sony detailed four colors – Gold, Silver, Steel Black and Crystal – that are slated for release in Japan during the holiday season. The European Sony blog has confirmed two of those colors for release overseas but as of now there is no word on North American availability. While we have seen limited edition consoles for PlayStation and custom options for Xbox One, this is Sony’s first special edition controller release since its 20th Anniversary Controller.

There will be nine new faceplate add-ons for the hard drive as well: purple, red, yellow, pink, gold, silver and more. Amazon a number of third-party faceplates that can be added on for additional style, if you’re not interested in waiting. The faceplates will retail for ¥2,500 or about $21. Additionally, a new round wireless headset will hit Japan in December.

It’s nice to see Sony up its customization game, something that Xbox One has been excelling at recently.
