Microsoft’s latest movie sale includes Hunger Games in 4K for $5 each, Divergent, more

$5 each

The Microsoft Store has updated its weekly $5 movie sale with a number of new titles. This time around, our favorite is the Hunger Games series, which is available for $5 each in 4K. For comparison, you’d pay $13 for each movie individually at Google Play and all four films would set you back $30 bundled in HD quality, instead of 4K. This is a great way to either start the series or pick up all installments. Rated 4.5/5 stars. Head below for other great series and films on sale, like the Divergent movies, Ender’s Game, and others.

More $5 movies:

Don’t forget about Apple’s latest sale, which offers bundles from $8, Disney flicks, and more individual titles as low as $5 each. Both 4K and HD films are available here, and you’ll find movies like The Hobbit, National Treasure, Matrix, Jurassic, Rambo, and more available to buy.

More about Hunger Games:

In a dystopian future, the totalitarian nation of Panem is divided into 12 districts and the Capitol. Each year two young representatives from each district are selected by lottery to participate in The Hunger Games. Part entertainment, part brutal retribution for a past rebellion, the televised games are broadcast throughout Panem. The 24 participants are forced to eliminate their competitors while the citizens of Panem are required to watch. When 16-year-old Katniss’ young sister, Prim, is selected as District 12’s female representative, Katniss volunteers to take her place. She and her male counterpart, Peeta, are pitted against bigger, stronger representatives, some of whom have trained for this their whole lives.
