Get three months of Spotify Premium for $0.99 ($30 value)

Site default logo image

Spotify is offering three months of its Premium service for $.99, which will last you well through the holiday season and most of winter! This is deal is specifically for United States users that have not subscribed to the Premium service in the past, at any point. Premium service would usually run $30 for three months, to redeem simply visit Spotify’s homepage and follow the instructions to pick up this deal.

Despite its recent struggles with some artists, Spotify is still at the top when it comes to streaming the largest library of music across multiple devices and platforms. Students can still pick up a pretty nice deal on Spotify, as well.

Valve’s new live gameplay broadcasting feature is now available to all Steam users for free

Site default logo image

Today, Valve has announced Steam Broadcasting as part of its beta client. Mac/PC Steam users (anyone who has purchased a game from the service) can now opt in to Steam’s new integrated broadcasting beta, which essentially allows gamers to get full Twitch-like streaming functionality directly inside of the Steam ecosystem.

With the rising popularity of Twitch’s live broadcasting service among gamers (they just sold to Amazon for nearly $1 billion), not to mention its adoption by Sony and Microsoft for their new boxes, it’s not surprising the PC gaming juggernaut would introduce similar functionality. Even better, the new service will come at no additional fee and require no additional software…

The best Mac Black Friday deals that we’ve seen so far this week

Site default logo image

Black Friday always offers a wide variety of discounts on a number of products, but so far this year its been slim for consumers looking for a new Mac. We have confirmed some deals from Best Buy, but they are not offering a wide variety of configurations, and have tax implications depending on your state.

Adorama and B&H Photo are both offering discounts on most Mac models this week, we’ve already spotted a nice price drop on an iMac with Retina 5K display + AppleCare from Adorama.

In some cases Adorama is bundling AppleCare with a purchase for a discounted price. B&H currently only charges for taxes for New York residents at the time of purchase, while it varies for Adorama. Additionally, you’ll need a free Adorama VIP membership to take advantage of these prices.

Below you’ll find our top picks for deals on current generation MacBook Air, Retina MacBook Pro, Mac Pro and Mac Mini from these two retailers so far:

Apple iPod touch 32GB current gen (multiple colors): $220 or $249 w/ $50 gift card (Reg. $249)

Target is offering the current generation 32GB iPod touch for $249 shipped with $50 gift card attached, effectively bringing your total down to $199 shipped. Additionally, REDcard holders can knock an extra 5% off yielding a total of $186 considering the value of the $50 GC.

Regularly listed at $249 from Apple, this is the lowest price in terms of value for the 5th generation 32GB iPod touch available. As comparison, Apple currently charges $199 for a refurbished 32GB 5th gen.

However, Best Buy is offering the same model iPod touch at a straight up discount of $219.99 shipped. While not quite as good as the above value from Target, it is nearly $10 under the next best price we can currently find (Walmart/B&H) and the lowest direct dollar discount available. Both Best Buy and Target are offering all 4 colors at the respective discounts: space grey, silver, pink, yellow, and blue.

Engineered for maximum funness. With an ultrathin design, a larger, 4-inch Retina display, a 5-megapixel iSight camera, iTunes and the App Store, Siri, iMessage, FaceTime, Game Center, and more—it’s the most fun iPod touch ever.

The thinnest iPhone 6/Plus cases we’ve found so far and some that are just thick enough to prevent ‘camera wobble’

Site default logo image

Size is easily the most talked about attribute of the all-new iPhone 6 and 6 Plus. Obviously, the pumped up screens are getting much of the spotlight but their shaved down profiles and perfectly rounded edges are also turning heads.

We spend hundreds of dollars on these sexy new devices just to cover them up with bulky cases. The only other option is to rock your iPhone naked as the day it left Foxconn but then it’s more susceptible to breakage. Wraps and skins protect our devices from abrasions but not drops and quite frankly, are a pain in the neck to install.

However, ultra-thin cases maintain the iPhone’s slender design, while keeping it safe from scratches and everyday drops. Although, it’s important to keep in mind that cases less than 0.70mm thick are so slim that they won’t protect the protruding iSight camera.

If you can’t deal with the stress of going without a case but also don’t want to cover up Jony’s newest creation, then these ultra-thin cases may be the best choice for you…
