Kmart has the ZTE Whirl Android 4.3 smartphone (also at Best Buy) for $19.99 with free max shipping or pickup. That’s half off and the lowest price we’ve ever seen for an new Android phone. This one has a 3MP camera and front facing camera for video chatting, GPS and Bluetooth 4.0.
While not a high end phone by any stretch of the imagination, its $20 cost makes it a good backup, great kids “phone” or standalone GPS or other dedicated device.

Best Buy is discounting a selection of MacBook Air, Retina, and Pro laptop computers.
But the standout of the bunch is the 15-inch MacBook Pro with Retina display (MGXA2LL/A) for $1,799.99, which is a drop of $200. All other retailers are charging at least $100 more. Usually we only see significant discounts on entry-level Air/13-inch Retina Macs, so if you’re looking for more power then this is the deal you’ll want to grab.

Additionally, you can shave another $50 off your final price if you have access to a .edu email address.

We found the LG (40UB8000) 40″ 4K Ultra HD 120Hz Smart LED TV for a very low $599.99 shipped from Focus Camera. That’s half-off the list price, $300 less than Amazon, and the lowest we’ve ever seen.

TRU-4K uses a multi-step process to examine your content and upscale it from HD to 4K Ultra HD.
If 4K is still too far in the future for you, we found a few deals on 1080p TVs that will still do the trick. Walmart has the RCA 46″ 1080p 60Hz LED HDTV for only $299.99. That’s $200 off the regular price and the best price we could find for it.
This RCA 46″ LED HDTV lets you experience full HD entertainment from your movies, TV shows and games. It has 2 HDMI connections and it features USB Media Play for viewing photos and listening to music.
Here are some other notable TVs that we saw today:

Retailers are striking even earlier this year with their best Black Friday/Holiday deals. Sam’s Club is planning a special Holiday Savings Celebration on Saturday, November 15th. So much so, that we overlooked what we think is the best 4K UHDTV sale that has ever come across our deal desks…

Size is easily the most talked about attribute of the all-new iPhone 6 and 6 Plus. Obviously, the pumped up screens are getting much of the spotlight but their shaved down profiles and perfectly rounded edges are also turning heads.
We spend hundreds of dollars on these sexy new devices just to cover them up with bulky cases. The only other option is to rock your iPhone naked as the day it left Foxconn but then it’s more susceptible to breakage. Wraps and skins protect our devices from abrasions but not drops and quite frankly, are a pain in the neck to install.

However, ultra-thin cases maintain the iPhone’s slender design, while keeping it safe from scratches and everyday drops. Although, it’s important to keep in mind that cases less than 0.70mm thick are so slim that they won’t protect the protruding iSight camera.
If you can’t deal with the stress of going without a case but also don’t want to cover up Jony’s newest creation, then these ultra-thin cases may be the best choice for you…

News of updated Apple iPad Air Smart Covers and Cases most certainly went unnoticed by many due to the excitement of a 5K iMac and gold iPads. Redesigned Smart Cases shouldn’t be a suprise since iPad Air 2 is 18% thinner, but it was baffling that Smart Covers were also updated since the iPad Air footprint remained untouched.
Well, original iPad owners can rest easy (and save $39), because earlier this evening the folks at iFixit were able to verify that the original iPad Air Smart Cover will indeed work with iPad Air 2.
This is also great news to anyone getting their first iPad Air, because the original Smart Cover can be had at extremely discounted rates since it has been discontinued by Apple. Here are the best places to score a legit one for as much as 50% off:

Update (10/21 11:30am): Prices are fluctuating. Check eBay for latest rates.
Update (10/20 1:15pm): Prices across the board have dropped: 16GB $329.99, 32GB $359.99, 64GB $389.99
Update (10/20 7:45am): coupon code has expired, but $399 for an unlocked iPhone 5 is still a great price.
Apple’s “unofficial” eBay Store is still going strong and the release of iPhone 6 has sparked new price drops on previous generation iPhones.
A factory unlocked manufacturer refurbished iPhone 5 now starts at just $399 and includes a full one year Apple warranty, is repackaged with manual and charger, and has been returned to like-new condition. Furthermore, the “final quality inspection [is performed] by Apple.” Enter redemption code CELL20SAVE during checkout and you’ll save an additional $20 on each model. That drops the price of a 16GB model down to $379 shipped.
As a pricing comparison, Apple is currently charging $450 for an unlocked iPhone 5c (essentially the same phone) with half as much storage. After surveying completed listings on eBay, most pre-owned iPhone 5 units sell for anywhere between $300-$400, but keep in mind those aren’t refurbished by Apple and generally do not include a warranty or any accessories.
Today’s coupon code also drops the 32GB iPhone 5 to $389 and the 64GB iPhone 5 to $399. All of these variations are Apple refurbished, include a one year warranty, and are eligible to be shipped to dozens of different countries:

Founder Dan Sullivan started the journey that would eventually lead to the development and release of his music products in the Apple Store as a synth circuit designer. Being a banjo and guitar player himself, he was always interested in bringing the two worlds together to create unique musical performance technology that would accommodate string players. Born out of that motivation, Minneapolis, Minnesota based Zivix is comprised of a small core group of passionate individuals set to create and release innovative new music products that meet the demands of modern day musicians.

Apple unleashed iOS 8 yesterday, which it calls “the biggest iOS release ever.” Perhaps lost in the craziness of its release was the fact that App Store developers can now offer app bundles. You’ll find a new “Bundles” section on the App Store with a number of discounted bundles from popular developers.

The bundles are separated into three sections: App Bundles, Game Bundles and Kids Bundles. With anywhere from 2 to 9 apps per bundle, users have the option to only pay for the apps in a given bundle they don’t already own by paying the difference.
There are some discounts to be had here from a number of highly rated developers, here are a few of our top picks:

(Update 5/19 10:30am): The time has come. Apple has randomly announced a new Lightning dock for iPhone 6/Plus. However, you should still take a look at the numerous third party options (below) that have been on the market for years. Many of these options offer more styling and better value compared to Apple’s dock.
If you were one of over 4 million people who preordered an iPhone 6 or 6 Plus this weekend, then you may have noticed that one of Apple’s most popular accessories for previous gen iPhones is curiously absent from its online store. As of right now, Apple seems to be sitting on the sideline and will not be releasing a dock designed for its newest smartphones.
Docks position your iPhone in a way that makes it easier to keep tabs on incoming notifications, all while helping create a clean workspace by wrangling messy cables.
There are already several iPhone 6 and 6 Plus dock solutions. Here are our favorite docks, stands, mounts, and more:

Preorders for iPhone 6 and 6 Plus kicked off late last night and if early sales are any indication, these new models are going to be the best selling iPhones in Apple’s history. This year’s iPhone lineup is also the most expensive ever, with the iPhone 6 Plus topping out at $949 without carrier subsidies.
At minimum you should keep your iPhone in a durable case to protect it from everyday bumps and drops, but you should also consider a protection plan for more catastrophic accidents.

Walmart, the giant US retailer, often negotiates exclusive price cuts on products that smaller retailers can’t match. Just like last year, it has set its sights on the all new iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus.
According to a report published tonight by CNET, Walmart is set to trim $20 off both of Apple’s new super sized iPhones. That drops the iPhone 6 down to $179 and the iPhone 6 Plus down to $279. Both prices require a two-year commitment with AT&T, Verizon, or Sprint. Also, beginning on Friday, September 12th, Walmart will begin accepting preorders for the iPhone 6. Anyone who preorders through Walmart will also get a free $15 e-gift card. Sam’s Club members will be able to save an additional $2 on both models, which brings their total discount down to $22.
Based on all the information we’ve seen thus far, these price drops only apply to the 16GB iPhone 6 models and only the 4.7-inch variant will be available for preorder. As of right now, the only other noteworthy iPhone 6 deal that we’ve seen is from Radio Shack who is offering a free $50 iTunes gift card with purchases through September 27th.
