Super Mario 64 released back in the mid-90s for Nintendo 64 and was the very first time the company took the Mushroom Kingdom into 3D. With more than 11 million copies sold worldwide, not only was it a launch title alongside Pilotwings 64, it is the best-selling game on the system. As expected, it has maintained a strong cult following ever since, with a countless number of mods and user hacks having hit the net in the meantime.

The originally single player experience was fantastic and still is, but a new multiplayer mod is adding some very interesting elements to the core experience.

As you must already know, it’s iPhone week. Apple is scheduled to unveil its latest generation smartphone tomorrow morning. We already caught wind of what we believe to be the names and some details on the new iPhone 8/Plus and X. It is only a matter of hours now before the internet gets flooded with new accessories, cases and covers for Apple’s latest iPhone iteration, but we have one special option to focus on at the moment.

The Classicbot Classic is an adorable little desktop figure designed after vintage Mac computers. It looked like the perfect mascot to any Mac-fan’s office set-up when we first caught a glimpse of it. Much to our surprise (and delight!), we recently had one show up in the mail so we could get up, close and personal with the cute little guy.

Rockstar brings L.A. Noire to Nintendo Switch, PS4, Xbox One & HTC Vive

After a somewhat troubled and prolonged development cycle, L.A. Noire released to the masses on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 in 2011. Created by the now shuttered Team Bondi, the game was picked up and published by none other than Rockstar Games of Grand Theft Auto fame. While not a perfect experience by any measure, with the backing of industry powerhouse, a unique mid 1940’s Los Angeles setting and what was groundbreaking facial capture technology at the time, the game went on to sell over 5 million copies.

We already knew some kind of VR remake of the title was coming in 2017, and that is indeed the case. But we now have word from Rockstar the game will be re-released on PS4, Xbox One and most surprisingly of all, Nintendo Switch as well.

Bungie is bringing its next major update to its ever-expanding RPG space shooter with Destiny 2 and Nintendo’s latest Metroid game will be available on your 3DS come the middle of the month. The amazing looking Cuphead will finally grace the big screen and Death of the Outsider marks the latest chapter in the Dishonored franchise.
