LEGO just unleashed its first official Pokémon sets during the Pokémon 2026 festivities. But just after an official teaser for the first minifigure-scale Super Mario sets, a new leak has surfaced online suggesting we are in for some minifig pocket monsters as well.

Last week, LEGO gave us two new teasers on Instagram – one for a new Mario minifigure, and the other for the long-awaited Ideas Jurassic Park Jeep, but the LEGO Group was busy over the weekend continuing its sneak peeks pertaining to the Dinosaur-centric theme, as we also got a new video on the upcoming Dinosaur Fossils: Triceratops set, as well as short-term story peeks at three additional sets – which means we’re going to be have a nice wave of 2026 Jurassic World releases. A new LEGO PlayStation set is reportedly coming this year. We have seen some exciting new official LEGO announcements this week, including the large-scale Luigi Mario Kart build, a teaser for new minifigure-scale Nintendo sets, and just this morning with the launch of the One Piece Gum-Gum Fruit pre-orders, but it looks like LEGO might also have a new brick built PlayStation 1 replica on the way too.

Happy Mario Day, LEGO Super Mario minifigs have been officially announced! Just when you thought the Mario reveals were done for the day, Nintendo and LEGO have just released a new teaser video on social announcing all-new Super Mario minifigs and sets.

We have seen some wild Crocs crossover fashion – check the recent Animal Crossing capsule – but the new LEGO Brick Clogs might be the absolute best (worst) of all. 

Coming in right behind yesterday’s big LEGO Maersk Dual-Fuel Shipping Vessel reveal, the brick-built company has unveiled five new LEGO Star Wars sets based on the upcoming Mandalorian & Grogu movie that already have fans buzzing in excitement. The best part is that most are open for pre-orders, and folks won’t be waiting too much longer before they officially release either. Just after the reveal of the new LOTR Sauron’s Helmet set, some new SMART Star Wars LEGO builds have arrived. While the three initial LEGO Star Wars Smart Play sets with the included Smart Bricks are still up for pre-order, today LEGO has unveiled a series of new Smart Play Star Wars sets: the new AT-ST Attack on Endor at $49.99, the Millennium Falcon at $99.99, the Mos Eisley Cantina at $79.99, Luke’s Landspeeder at $39.99, and Yoda’s Hut and Jedi Training at $69.99. But there is a one not so SMART caveat to consider with these new builds. 

The realm of J. R. R. Tolkien’s Middle Earth is as widely expansive as was his imagination, and LEGO is expanding its dedicated theme of the popular fantasy series with an all-new brick-built set – and this one is coming in at a much more accessible price rate than the past builds, not to mention bringing along a highly-coveted (and formerly exclusive) minifigure. Fans of the brick-built Mushroom Kingdom world are already very familiar with the LEGO Mario Kart: Mario & Standard Kart set. It debuted last year shortly before the new Mario Kart World landed for Switch 2, and now LEGO appears to have just teased an upcoming Luigi Mario Kart set. 

Update: LEGO has now officially revealed the new LEGO The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time – The Final Battle (77093) – pre-orders now live at $129.99 ahead of March 1 release date. Official images found below.

Back in November LEGO officially teased what could only have been a brand new The Legend of Zelda Ocarina of Time set. Not a whole lot was known back then, outside of what we could glean from the teaser video and the 2026 release date. But, right on the heels of the new SMART Brick Star Wars kits going up for sale, it appears images and details of the new set have now leaked online. 

Just after pre-orders went live on the new LEGO SMART Brick sets, the very first official LEGO Pokémon sets have been revealed ahead of launch next month. LEGO officially teased the pocket monster collaboration for Trainers last year, and we are getting our first official look at the first sets.

The new LEGO Smart Brick sets are now live for pre-order. LEGO unleashed its new Smart Play platform this year at CES 2026, and the first of the new multi-function SMART Brick sets are now live in the form of the three new Star Wars sets we featured previously.

Update: The new LEGO Smart Play and its first three sets go live for pre-order on January 9 – they are officially releasing on March 1.

After a brief and relatively cryptic official teaser hit LEGO’s social feeds over the last day or so, it has now officially hit the stage at CES 2026.
