2-Pack Apple official silicone and leather iPhone 6/Plus cases from $31 shipped (Orig. $70)

Best Buy is currently running a special promotion on clearance cell phone accessories: Buy 2 (or more) and save 50% on each item. The extra discount is automatically taken during checkout as long as your order qualifies for the promo. Many different accessories are eligible including selfie sticks and screen protectors, but the best deal we’ve found is for Apple official iPhone cases.

Apple iPhone 6/Plus silicone and leather cases in multiple colors are already slightly discounted, but drop even further thanks to this promotion. For example, your total cost for 2 iPhone 6 silicone cases is just $30.99 shipped for both. The only thing to keep in mind here is that these are the previous generation cases. Apple released updated cases alongside iPhone 6s, but these older models should fit the new iPhones just fine.

Looking to go super low-cost? We have some iPhone case deals as low as $1 right now.

Best Buy makes a splash with the lowest Apple Watch prices ever, deals start at just $249

Apple Watch is at the top of many holiday wish lists this year and luckily for gift shoppers it’s received numerous discounts since Black Friday. In fact, Target and B&H are both offering significant Apple Watch promotions right now.

This morning Best Buy jumped into the fray with the best straight up Apple Watch deal we’ve ever seen: $100 off any Apple Watch Sport or Apple Watch model. More than 20 different watch configurations are eligible for this discount. The smaller 38mm Sport models start at just $249 with free shipping. In comparison, past deals only offered a savings of $50 on Sport models and some also tossed in a free gift card. Best Buy’s deal represents the lowest out-the-door price we’ve seen for any Apple Watch in new condition.

Use your savings to grab a charging dock for your nightstand or desk. I’d recommend Nomad’s Apple Watch Stand (on sale for $41), Twelve South’s HiRise ($50), or one of Spigen’s low-cost options (from $11).

Best of Black Friday — Apple: deals on iPad Air 2, iPhone 6s/Plus, Apple Watch, Macs, more!

The absolute last place you want to shop for iPhone, iPad, and Mac deals this Black Friday is the Apple Store. Historically, Apple’s participation in the biggest shopping day of the year has been limited to offering super modest (borderline insulting) discounts or free iTunes Gift Cards. We suspect this year won’t be any different.

On the flip side, other major retailers including Best Buy, Target, and Staples are extending huge discounts to many of Apple’s flagship products. To help you plan your holiday shopping, we’ve pored over every Black Friday ad available to bring you the very best upcoming Apple deals:

Best Buy lands the first major blow in this year’s battle for holiday shoppers

Best Buy store next-day delivery

(Update 10/23 12:05pm): Target’s Toy Book ad leak reveals that the retailer is also going to offer free shipping for all online holiday orders. (via BFAds)

The holiday shopping season is starting to heat up. Earlier this week we saw the first major Black Friday ad leak and now Best Buy has made a major announcement that could force the hands of other retailers.

Starting this Sunday and running through the new year, Best Buy will offer free standard shipping on all orders. There’s no order minimum, but all items must be sold by and shipped from Best Buy. The current order minimum for free shipping is $35. It’s worth noting that My Best Buy Elite members get free standard shipping year-round on all orders.

Other retailers including Amazon, Walmart and Target also offer free shipping without order minimums, but they require paid memberships or store-specific credit cards. Best Buy’s move will likely go a long way in helping them win over the rest of consumers who aren’t already in bed with another retailer.

Nintendo announces official price drop coming for its 2DS handheld console

Nintendo has announced an official price drop coming to its already affordable 2DS handheld system. It currently holds a suggested retail price of $129.99, but come August 30th, the portable system will drop to $99.99 shipped. The 2DS, which plays almost the entire 3DS (and DS) library of games, will still ship with Mario Kart 7 when the new price drop hits at the end of the month.

We have seen the 2DS dip down to $100 and even lower a few times in the last year or so, plus a few sweet refurbished deals for even less. In fact, GameStop has it for under $100 in-store right now at some locations. However, with the official price drop we are likely to see prices come down even further from major retailers like Amazon, Best Buy, Target, GameStop and more, so it might be a smart idea to hold-off on purchasing until that happens.

For today’s best gaming deals head over to our daily roundups.

REDMOND, Wash.–(BUSINESS WIRE)–One of Nintendo’s best values will be getting even better. On Aug. 30, the suggested retail price of the portable Nintendo 2DS system drops to $99.99, down from the current suggested retail price of $129.99. Even at the new suggested price, the system will still come packaged with the digital version of the acclaimed Mario Kart 7 game, making Nintendo 2DS an amazing value for shoppers.

“The new lower-priced hardware combined with the strong lineup of new games launching this year and arguably the best library of games in this generation makes it a great time to be a Nintendo fan.”

People looking for a great game to play with their new system can also pick up Little Battlers eXperience, which launches Aug. 21 for all Nintendo 3DS family systems, including Nintendo 2DS.

“At a suggested retail price of $99.99, Nintendo 2DS is an even more attractive introductory option for first-time gamers,” said Scott Moffitt, Nintendo of America’s Executive Vice President of Sales & Marketing. “The new lower-priced hardware combined with the strong lineup of new games launching this year and arguably the best library of games in this generation makes it a great time to be a Nintendo fan.”

Ever since it launched in October 2013, Nintendo 2DS has been the go-to system for newcomers to the world of quality Nintendo video games. The system plays nearly the entire library of Nintendo 3DS games in 2D, as well as most Nintendo DS games. Players with Internet access can compete online, or enjoy local multiplayer co-op experiences with other Nintendo 3DS family system owners. With no hinges, the durable construction of Nintendo 2DS makes it perfect for younger players…

Pebble Time now available to pre-order from Best Buy for $200

Update: The Pebble Time is now available to purchase from Best Buy and is coming to Target next month.

Pebble has a long-time friendship with Best Buy, and now the smartwatch maker is launching the first widespread availability of its new Pebble Time through the retailer. Available for $200, the standard 22mm non-steel version of the watch is now available for consumers to put their claim on red, black, and white models.

While the Kickstarter Edition just recently began shipping to those who backed the watch, those just now realizing that they would actually like a smartwatch that has a color e-paper display, more than 5 days of battery life, and cross-platform compatibility are in luck:

We recently reviewed the Pebble Time, saying that while it does have its upsides, it still feels stuck in the past compared to the currently-available Android Wear devices and the Apple Watch. Long battery life is nice, but the lack of a touch screen and sketchy compatibility with iOS hold the device back—especially at this price point.

Today, Best Buy announced that it’s officially dropping the price of GCU from $100 to $30 starting March 8, with membership to be available online and in stores. That matches the lowest GCU price Best Buy has offered.

Best Buy notes that Nintendo’s amiibo are also part of the deal: just like new games, 20% off an Amiibo on day one is probably the best deal you’ll find anywhere. See our amiibo guide for a list of the current and upcoming toys you’ll be able to get discounts on.

Many gamers will find that the $30 Unlocked membership pays for itself in one month, with 23 months of additional great deals. You save $12 every time you purchase a $60 game, and can get an additional $10 pre-order bonus for upcoming games including Batman: Arkham KnightHalo 5: Guardians, and Mortal Kombat X, chopping their prices to $38 each. Read on for the other benefits of the Gamers Club Unlocked deal…

Buy a new smartphone (including iPhone 6/Plus) at Best Buy and get a free $150 or $200 gift card

(Update 2/27 6:36pm): Our apologies, this promo is only for new activations, not upgrades. The original draft of this post was incorrect.

You’ll need to do so using carrier installment plans: Verizon Edge, AT&T Next, or Sprint Easy Pay/Leasing — upgrades of any kind and of course, full-priced no-commitment smartphone purchases are not eligible for the gift card bonus.

AT&T and Verizon new line activations will yield a free $150 gift card, while Sprint will get you $200 (in-store only).

The promo covers a range of smartphones including iPhone 6/Plus (in-store pickup only), iPhone 5s/c, LG G2, HTC One M8, Nokia Lumia 1520, and several others.
