LEGO Ideas Stories April 7, 2016

Update (4/12 11:45am):

This morning we’ve noticed a number of popular LEGO sets on sale from trusted retailers like Amazon, Target and Walmart. We’ve rounded up some of the best deals below. Free shipping is available on some listings alongside in-store pick up.

Our favorite deal this morning is LEGO Ideas’ The Big Bang Theory 21302 Building Kit for $45.67 Prime shipped at Amazon. This set has a list price of $59.99 and still goes for that much at retailers like Target. Designed for Big Bang fans, you’ll be able to “build an authentic replica of Leonard and Sheldon’s living room.” There are seven minifigs included in this kit alongside a collector’s edition booklet. Rated a near-perfect 4.9/5 stars by 199 Amazon customers. Not familiar with the LEGO Ideas program? Check out the full lot of crowd-sourced designs here.

The new Dr. Who LEGO set looks just like TARDIS time machine

LEGO Ideas has delivered some of the coolest projects that we have seen. The crowd-sourced program is responsible for building kits like this replication of the Big Bang Theory living room or the incredibly detailed WALL-E set. After being teased a while back by LEGO, it has now been officially announced that a new Doctor Who-inspired set will be released in December.

Kit number 21304 is based off an original proposition by Andrew Clark back in February. The TARDIS time machine from the popular sci-fi show will open to find the ship’s control room. LEGO will include four minifigures with a variety of accessories: the Eleventh Doctor, the Tweltch Doctor, Clara Oswald and a Weeping Angel.

This kit is set to launch on December 1st with a $59.99 price tag.
