Update 10/14: The Assassin’s Creed Shadows Switch 2 release date has now leaked courtesy of a particularly reliable source – the game is expected to launch in Europe on December 5 – that likely means it will be right around then in the U.S. as well, if this date is indeed the real thing. This source also claims an official announcement will hit on or before November 7. 

Assassin’s Creed is in the news again to start the week, and this time it’s not for the somewhat controversial new Mirage Valley of Memory expansion – the Switch 2 version of Assassin’s Creed Shadows has leaked again. And this time we get a look at the box art. 

It looks like every official upcoming Pokémon project in the works at GameFreak has leaked. Sources who claimed to have datamined the developer’s roadmap from internal files have released details on a series of as of yet un-announced Pokémon titles, including the official Gen 10 Switch 2 game, and a series of other titles.

The official 2025 fall Target Circle Week ad has arrived. As you know Amazon’s Prime Big Deal Days early offers are already live and the official sale will begin next week on October 7, but Target’s massive Circle Week sale will be going live a couple days before that. We recently had a chance to go hands-on with the brand new QuietComfort Ultra Bluetooth Earbuds (2nd Gen) and loved very second of it. They debuted with three color options at $299, but a new Desert Gold – Limited Edition treatment seems to have just leaked on Amazon at $279 shipped. 

Microsoft is shaking things up with Xbox Game Pass, rebranding certain subscription tiers while also increasing the prices. As announced on Xbox Wire, the Xbox Game Pass Ultimate plan is jumping from $19.99 to $29.99 per month starting today – a straight-up $10 increase. Other tiers are also seeing adjustments, and we’ve broken down all the details from today’s announcement below.

When it comes to e-bikes, most people’s immediate thought is a commuter model designed to get you through streets to your various destinations, but with Ride1Up’s Revv1 DRT e-bike, the fun is extended (and primarily focused) to off-road adventures, and boy, does this baby have some go in it. It’s been over two years since we reviewed the Revv1 FS counterpart, which we came away quite impressed with its SUPER73-like design. Amazon has debuted a bunch of new devices as part of its fall hardware event, including a new lineup for 2K security cameras. Amazon’s security camera brand Blink will have two new security cameras up for grabs later today – the Outdoor 2K+ and the Mini 2K+, both with support for up to 2K resolution. Additionally, we also got a new accessory called Blink Arc, which will let you combine two Blink Mini 2K+ cameras into a single unit for a seamlessly stitched 180-degree FoV feed. As part of today’s live event in NYC, the all-new Kindle Scribe Colorsoft has been revealed. This new reader-meets-tablet takes on all of the stylus action of the existing Kindle Scribe, but as the name suggests also delivers a full color screen like that of the existing Kindle Colorsoft. There’s some other new models too.

Today could be a big day for the Amazon Devices team as it is set to take the stage in NYC to reveal what appears to be the next-generation of Echo devices (likely some Kindle and Fire TV action too). The next MURAKAMI drop has been revealed. The Xbox Tokyo Game Show 2025 Broadcast delivered a series of new updates and add-on content coming to some major releases, but the headliner announcement was the reveal of Forza Horizon 6. 

It has been a long time coming, but Insomniac has finally given us a seriously good look at its Wolverine game, and it looks wild. Some may have felt it was going to sugar the experience, but this isn’t your neighborhood Spider-Man folks – this thing looks rough, raw, and extremely violent. Just the way we wanted it. 

At today’s State of Play showcase, which capped off with a brand new gameplay trailer for the Insomniac Wolverine game (it looks wild!), Sony also revealed the Pulse Elevate – “Sony Interactive Entertainment’s first wireless speakers for desktop gaming.” 

Okay here we go folks, it’s time to see what PlayStation has in store for us on the next State of Play livestream. Yesterday Sony announced it would be hosting a September State of Play event alongside the TGS festivities and it is all set to kick off this afternoon.

The Pokémon Company has announced that Pokémon TCG: Mega Evolution, the first expansion in the brand-new Mega Evolution Series, will launch on September 26, 2025. This is the most excited I have been about a new Pokémon set since the 151 set! Ahead of release, I got my hands on several of the upcoming products, and here’s a breakdown of what’s inside each one and why fans should be excited.

Burton Goods and its beautiful handmade leather cases are back for iPhone 17 Pro and Pro Max, but today we are taking a closer hands-on look at its brand new iPhone Air case – the Heritage Leather. If you like leather goods, real proper artisanship, and a case the ages beautifully, Burton Goods should be on your radar – but can it keep up with Apple’s awe dropping new ultra-thin iPhone?

I have used a few dash cams before, but Viofo’s latest flagship really caught my eye because it goes a step beyond the usual font-and-rear setup. The A329T steps things up by adding a second forward-facing camera with a telephoto lens designed to zoom in and capture details farther down the road. I don’t consider myself a hardcore “dash cam enthusiast” but I do care about reliable video protection and clear footage. So I was very curious to see how Viofo’s newest camera setup really performs.

Capcom is set to host its Tokyo Game Show livestream this morning. While we are not expecting anything new from the highly-anticipated Resident Evil Requiem, just about every other major Capcom franchise, alongside some of the upcoming titles will be present and going live this morning on YouTube with new details and gameplay footage. 

Nomad is back, as expected, with a slate of new sporty and leather cases for iPhone 17, 17 Pro, and 17 Pro Max, as well as some Air models (more on those to come). I absolutely adored last year’s Nomad Traditional Leather Case for my iPhone 16 Pro – it is the most elegant model in the lineup if you ask me, and now it’s time to see how the new design works with Apple’s Cosmic Orange.

Nintendo just hit us with one of the most epic September showcases in recent memory at the latest Direct, and now Sony is looking to get in on the action as it has just announced the next PlayStation State of Play. Last time around we got a dedicated 30-minute rundown of the new James Bond game, but this week State of Play is returning to form with a relatively sizable showcase of reveals and updates from devs across the globe, including PlayStation Studios.
