Pebble Time now available to pre-order from Best Buy for $200

Update: The Pebble Time is now available to purchase from Best Buy and is coming to Target next month.

Pebble has a long-time friendship with Best Buy, and now the smartwatch maker is launching the first widespread availability of its new Pebble Time through the retailer. Available for $200, the standard 22mm non-steel version of the watch is now available for consumers to put their claim on red, black, and white models.

While the Kickstarter Edition just recently began shipping to those who backed the watch, those just now realizing that they would actually like a smartwatch that has a color e-paper display, more than 5 days of battery life, and cross-platform compatibility are in luck:

We recently reviewed the Pebble Time, saying that while it does have its upsides, it still feels stuck in the past compared to the currently-available Android Wear devices and the Apple Watch. Long battery life is nice, but the lack of a touch screen and sketchy compatibility with iOS hold the device back—especially at this price point.

The best deals to really take advantage of Microsoft’s Xbox One free game promotion

Last week, Microsoft announced that it would be running a seven day promotion with select retailers offering a free game ($60 or less) with the purchase of a new Xbox One. It has now officially kicked off with some pretty sweet deals.

Microsoft had a very strong showing at E3 2015. This promotion, which expires on Saturday, combined with upcoming title releases make it the best time to grab a new Xbox One. To ensure the most bang for your buck, you’ll want to choose a new release closer to $60 for your free game. We often have deals in our daily games roundup on previously released titles.

Get an iPad mini for $200 shipped at Best Buy (33% savings)

Site default logo image

Not to be outdone by Target’s massive iPad sale two weeks ago, Best Buy is also dropping $100 off the first generation iPad mini. Technically, Target’s sale was $0.99 less, but that’s because for some odd reason the national retailer adds $0.99 to the MSRP of many products.

Available in silver and space gray, the iPad mini will only set you back $199.99 this week at Best Buy. That’s a savings of more than 33% and a match for the best price we’ve ever seen. Of course, it isn’t Apple’s latest tablet and there are likely to be updated models around the corner, but for less than $200 it’s perfect for casual users. The first generation iPad mini will be supported by iOS 8 and features a 7.9-inch LED-backlit display, 10-hour battery life, and dual-core A5 chip.

Protect your new iPad with this heavily discounted waterproof LifeProof case. Also, the iPad mini with Retina display remains on sale for $350 or $300 with an .edu email address.
