Destiny 2 cross-play beta launches May 25 with a Strike playlist, Vault of Glass May 22, more

Destiny 2 just entered its latest season, which included a little cross-play bug that allowed players on various platforms to join each other’s Fireteams before the official launch in Season 15. Well, that bug was quickly squashed, and we were back to being locked into our own platform for multiplayer. That all changes on May 25, as Bungie aims to launch an official cross-play beta that day to test out the servers in a more prepared capacity. Also, we’ll be entering the Vault of Glass tomorrow, along with other updates in the latest Bungie Destiny 2 blog.

Destiny 2 Beyond Light takes you into the darkness on November 10

Bungie has been hard at work delivering new content to Destiny 2 year after year. Last year, we saw New Light, and the year before that we got Forsaken. This time around, the team at Bungie is going a different route, and exploring the opposite of New Light…with Beyond Light. Yeah, the title is a bit cliche, but Destiny 2 Beyond Light will take you to places where no Guardian ever thought they’d travel. You’ll be heading into the darkness because that’s the only way to defeat it.

Destiny 2 will support cross platform Guardian syncing in August 21st update

If you own multiple gaming systems, like PlayStation, Xbox, PC, or Switch, then you know the struggle of moving saved game progress from one platform to another. Some games allow it, some don’t. Destiny 2: New Light is about to launch with Google Stadia in a few months, and something that I’ve been looking forward to was the “cross saving” ability. Owning multiple gaming systems, this is huge for me. Here’s how you’ll use cross save with Destiny 2 on every platform.

Destiny 2: Forsaken, the game’s most controversial update, is available for pre-order

Destiny is a beloved gaming franchise from Bungie that people play on every platform. I’ve been a huge fan of the series from the first game on my original Xbox One, and now own Destiny 2 on PC, PS4, and Xbox One. Destiny 2 was great at the beginning, but quickly flittered out and I lost interested like with the original game.

This is something that Destiny is known for, launching with a fairly decent game that’s fun for a while, but not really becoming a must-play until a few updates later. Well, we’re at those updates, and Destiny 2: Forsaken is just around the corner, promising the “most transformative moment in Destiny 2.”

Destiny 2 receives new gear, content, activities in its second DLC update, Warmind

Destiny 2 has had mixed reviews, and this writer tends to agree with them. I was a hardcore Destiny fan for the first game, and had high hopes for the second, to the point where I even bought it for all three major platforms (PC, PS4, Xbox One.) Yes, I bought 3 copies of Destiny 2 Deluxe and played it quite a bit opening week and then kinda just stopped.

Well, just like the original Destiny game, Bungie has released a few DLC’s for Destiny 2, and it’s time to start playing again. This game series is great once it gets some added content, and today, Bungie released the second expansion for Destiny 2, Warmind.
