Alongside the debut of the brand WH-1000XM6 earbuds today, Sony is also expanding its XM6 over-ear headphones lineup as well. Last year’s XM6 headphones launch was a big one for the brand and easily among the most popular releases in the category among readers around here…but there was one thing missing for some folks, and that (not so) smoky pink colorway is finally now available for purchase (or will be momentarily).

Sony is officially launching its next-generation WF-1000XM6 wireless earbuds today. Much like its latest XM6 over-ears, Sony has made improvements across the board here with a next-gen noise canceling processor, its best call quality in a set of earbuds, improved Bluetooth connectivity “in any environment,” access to Google Gemini (and Siri), and an updated bud and case design. They are available for purchase starting now (or will be momentarily).

So far this month, LEGO has given us a few vehicle-related reveals, with the Icons Project Hail Mary set and the Icons Ford Model T set, and now we’re getting the next big unveiling following this trend with the upcoming 40955 Maersk Dual-Fuel Container Vessel. Sadly, unlike those other two, this set isn’t getting any pre-order opportunities ahead of its official release, but folks won’t have to wait long to get their hands on this long-awaited build. Nintendo has just launched its My Mario collection in the US, which was originally introduced in Japan. The My Mario product line has been designed as an easy introduction to the Mario world for very young kids through toys, apparel, books, and simple digital experiences. I was able to get an exclusive hands-on with the entire product line and was even able to bring my four-year-old daughter to see what she thought of these new toys. The My Mario line was built around letting parents and kids explore and play together using iconic characters like Mario, Luigi, Peach, and so many more. Here is what you should know.

The official 2026 Amazon Presidents Day sale is now live. Sony has now taken to the official PlayStation Blog to officially announce the next State of Play game showcase, and it sounds like it’s going to be a big one. 

JBL is well known for its Bluetooth speaker lineup as well as its larger party and PA-grade sound systems, but it is looking to combine the two with its BandBox releases. The lineup, which includes the more modestly-sized BandBox Solo and the larger and more feature-rich BandBox Trio, combines mic/instrument inputs with AI-powered stem splitters, amp emulation, and more with your usual Bluetooth speaker action. Both models are now available for purchase at Amazon and other major retailers.

A couple weeks ago we got our first good look at the new Super Mario Galaxy Movie after the world premiere trailer landed late last year. We also got our first official look at Yoshi and now Nintendo and Illumination have just uploaded another new quick look at the upcoming galactic Mario adventure. 

All you Trainers better start saving those Pokédollars – Stern just teased what is almost sure to be a series of epic new officially-licensed Pokémon pinball machines. 

As spotted by our cohorts across the virtual hall, Sony appears to have just essentially confirmed its upcoming WF-1000XM6 earbuds with a new teaser trailer on its official YouTube channel. While it hasn’t precisely stated as much, the tech lurking in the shadows here is almost certainly its next-generation earbuds.

Nintendo hosted its first Partner Showcase Direct this morning with a series of updates and announcements. While we now have official confirmation of a host of Bethesda tiles landing on Switch 2 after around a year of speculation – Fallout 4, Elder Scrolls Oblivion, and Indiana Jones and the Great Circle, included – it also quickly reminded folks about the Hollow Knight – Nintendo Switch 2 Edition upgrade pack. 

Nintendo officially confirmed this week’s Nintendo Direct showcases yesterday, and it is set to go live this morning. Rumors and predictions pointed at an official livestream hitting the airwaves in the first week of February and that it very much is, with a full 30-minutes of updates on upcoming Switch and Switch 2 games. 

After sitting is early access mode for Echo customers for quite some time, Amazon has now announced that Alexa+ is now available for everyone. The upgrade AI assistant costs $19.99 per month, but you can score at no additional cost if you’re a Prime member. 

Rumor had it we would be getting the next Nintendo Direct this week, and Nintendo has now confirmed as much. The next Nintendo Direct will go live tomorrow at the usual time. Details below. 

Update: The new Belkin UltraCharge Pro 2-in-1 Convertible Magnetic Charger is now available on Amazon in both the black and cream colorways. 

Belkin updated its lineup of wireless magnetic charging stands last summer headlined by the 3-in-1 Belkin UltraCharge Pro 25W. We came away mostly quite impressed with that model after review, but we have just spotted the new Qi2 25W 2-in-1 variant with a foldable design and the brand’s ChillBoost active cooling technology up for sale at Amazon.  

While we await the next title to land in the coveted GameCube library, and just after getting a chance to get an early hands-on look at the new Virtual Boy, Nintendo has just officially revealed a Switch Online February 2026 update with a pair of new additions to the Game Boy library. 

Back at the start of the year, Velotric announced five new e-bikes that would be joining its lineup throughout 2026, and the brand is now offering early-bird perks on the first two models. During today’s lengthy Nintendo Direct, we did not get any updates on the Switch Online GameCube library, but Nintendo did officially announce Virtual Boy! It is ready to add an entirely new console to its Nintendo Classics collection in the form of the ultra-retro Virtual Boy library alongside an actual Virtual Boy peripheral you stick your Switch or Switch 2 inside of. As LEGO’s latest Double Insiders Points event continues through the weekend, the brick-built company has just given folks another pair of long-awaited reveals in the form of the Disney 43300 Winnie the Pooh set and its 43305 Piglet’s Birthday Fun counterpart set. It’s been five years since LEGO brought us to the Hundred Acre Wood, and this time, we’re getting larger buildable figures of two of the most iconic characters from the series. The new Samsung Galaxy TriFold is now available for pre-order. As we reported earlier, Samsung’s first triple foldable is set to open for pre-order to everyone starting this morning at 10:00 a.m. ET and that time has now arrived. 

The new Samsung Galaxy Z TriFold goes live for pre-order today. In just a few short hours the largest screen on a Galaxy foldable, the lineup’s very first triple-hinged handset, will be available purchase.  

We have featured a number of those super handy tracking wallet cards around here – I am a big fan if these things and carry one with me at all times. This unexpected promotional event will take place for only five days and gives builders a solid chance to pick up some past builds that they might be lacking for their collections, alongside some of the newest sets that hit shelves at the top of January, as well as the few primed to release on February 1. Right on the heels of the Super Mario Galaxy Movie Direct from last weekend with our fist look at Yoshi and some new details ahed of the April release, an official announcement was made for another Nintendo Direct stream and it is set to go live this morning. 

Today’s smart glasses generally fall into two camps: ones that put a big, wearable display in front of your eyes purely for entertainment, gaming, and media like Viture’s Lumar Ultra, and there are others like the RayNeo X3 Pro we’re checking out today – that aim to deliver practical, everyday AR experiences. I’m already a heavy user of the first kind for daily entertainment, but I’ve yet to see anything truly compelling in the “real” AR space for day-to-day use. I’ve been using the RayNeo X3 Pro as my primary pair of glasses for the past few weeks, and they offer a glimpse into where AR is in 2026 – full of potential, but still weighed down by deal-breaking compromises. Just after the reveal of the new LOTR Sauron’s Helmet set, some new SMART Star Wars LEGO builds have arrived. While the three initial LEGO Star Wars Smart Play sets with the included Smart Bricks are still up for pre-order, today LEGO has unveiled a series of new Smart Play Star Wars sets: the new AT-ST Attack on Endor at $49.99, the Millennium Falcon at $99.99, the Mos Eisley Cantina at $79.99, Luke’s Landspeeder at $39.99, and Yoda’s Hut and Jedi Training at $69.99. But there is a one not so SMART caveat to consider with these new builds.

Apple debuted the long-awaited AirTag 2 today. Pre-orders are now live at Amazon ahead of delivery this week and are also joined by some discounts on the now previous-generation model. 

The realm of J. R. R. Tolkien’s Middle Earth is as widely expansive as was his imagination, and LEGO is expanding its dedicated theme of the popular fantasy series with an all-new brick-built set – and this one is coming in at a much more accessible price rate than the past builds, not to mention bringing along a highly-coveted (and formerly exclusive) minifigure. In October, I got to experience the first-hand upgrades that came through Anker’s second-generation series kick-off with the C1000 Gen 2 Power Station. It’s still been serving me well in the time since, but there have been some last-minute emergency needs that wouldn’t have lasted as long without the latest C2000 Gen 2 Portable Power Station that I got my hands on. Alongside the new overview trailer for Nintendo’s adorable Talking Flower collectible from Super Mario Bros. Wonder, we are also getting some details on the actual game itself. We already knew the Switch 2 edition and an expansion were on the way this spring, but Nintendo has debuted a new trailer and announced the official release date alongside some special edition amiibo too.
