Today we are going hands-on with the new UAG Civilian iPhone 16 Case. The brand is well known for its ultra-protective solutions for Apple’s handsets, but it is the mid-ranger Civilian that catches my eye first, managing to both offer a notable level of protection without looking (or feeling) like there’s a gigantic chunk of plastic around my phone. Let’s dive in down below with some hands-on impressions to see how this year’s model stacks up against Apple’s latest handset design.

Alongside some of the other models highlighted below, Amazon is now offering big-time price drop on the gorgeous Breville Barista Pro Espresso Machine down at $679.95 shipped. You’re looking at a regularly $850 coffee maker that has now dropped back down to the lowest price we have tracked this year on Amazon with $170 in savings. We have seen this deal roughly a handful of times this year at Amazon, but this time around you can take your pick from all four colorways.

The official ESR Amazon storefront is giving iPhone 16 users a shot at scoring some screen protectors at a super low price today – and I’m talking as low as $2 a pop here. There are a few different 3-packs on sale via Amazon right now for all four iPhone 16 models, but they are all relatively similar with a 9H hardness and a similar build quality – the main difference is the applicator they come with to ease the installation process. All three of which, along with the discounted prices are detailed below.

Friday morning’s collection of the best price drops on the App Store are now ready and waiting for you down below. On your way down, be sure to scope out the deals we spotted today on the 2024 Space Black M4 iPad Pro Magic Keyboard, the silver 46mm silver Apple Watch Series 10, and Apple’s 14-inch M3 MacBook Pro with 16GB of RAM at up to $400 off. As for the app highlights, we have titles like 1849, unmemory, Tempest Pirate RPG, Tiny Orchestra, To The Moon, and more. Head below for a closer look.

Update: While the code below was working for us earlier, this may have been a mistake and it now looks as though QVC has shut it down.

While some of the big-time price drops we spotted on game deals at QVC have come and gone, we have an even better one on the new Super Mario Party: Jamboree ahead of release on October 17. New QVC customers (or the new account you just made) can land the game down at $39.99 shipped ahead of release using code WELCOME20 at checkout. Regularly $60 and currently out of stock at Amazon, this is the lowest price we have tracked yet and, frankly, a notable price for any brand new Switch game. This one debuted during Nintendo’s major summer Direct event as one of the big titles in its holiday release schedule and now’s your chance to secure a copy at what will likely be on par with the best we see all year – new Nintendo releases rarely ever go for less than this in the first six months or so.

The official Journey Prime Big Deals Days sale is now live some four days before the official event kicks off – the deals are live on Amazon and the official site. This time around the brand is offering up to 50% off a range of MagSafe gear, chargers, 3-in-1 stands, travel chargers, MacBook sleeves with onboard charging action, and its latest Apple Find My gear starting from $17.50. While most of the gear sits somewhere between 25% and 40% off, it is generally rare to see the Apple accessory brand offer anything more than 20% (outside of the off 30% launch deal like we are seeing on its new full-grain Apple Watch band). Scope out the details down below.

It might not be the sweet new 30th anniversary edition, but we are tracking a rare chance to save on the Sony PlayStation Portal Remote Player today. Best Buy’s open-box listing in excellent condition with a full 1-year warranty is now sitting down at $161.99 shipped. Navigate to this page, choose the excellent condition option, and then scroll down and choose shipping before adding to the cart. While that’s a not massive markdown from the usual $199 price tag, deals on this thing are rare at best. Still up at the full MSRP on Amazon where it has never dropped below $195 in brand new condition, the best renewed price we can find there has it going for $179.99, and that’s from a third-party seller.

After debuting in mid-August as some of the most affordable smart video doorbells from brands we trust and feature around here, the new TP-Link Tapo D120 and D225 have now hit new all-time lows on Amazon. The more affordable TP-Link Tapo D120 as now dropped from the regular $70 price tag down to $46.99 shipped and the dual-powered (more on this below) Tapo D225 has now fallen to $79.99 shipped from the regular $100 price tag. We did see launch deals at $51 and $85 back in August, but today’s offers undercut both to deliver the best we have seen yet.

Today, Journey is debuting a brand new Apple Watch band with a solid 30% launch deal. Just after introducing the “world’s first” 10K mAh 4-in-1 MagSafe power bank with a retractable charging lid and its MOTION Apple Watch Sport band before that, the brand has now unleashed its new full-grain leather URBAN leather band for Apple Watch Series 10 (and all models between 42mm and 49mm). Scoring one during the pre-order phase will net you 30% off at checkout and you can scope out the details down below.

It’s time for a hands-on look at what might be the only “official” third-party iPhone 16 case with Camera Control (providing you don’t count Beats). We have seen models with the conductive button cover from SUPCASE and Spigen, but OtterBox seems to have had a more official connection to Apple with its implementation considering you can buy it direct from Cupertino’s stores, so let’s dive in and see if the OtterBox Lumen Series iPhone 16 case with Camera Control is any good.

Anker is ready to officially unleash its latest generation Soundcore Liberty 4 Pro wireless earbuds today. Landing with some marked improvements over the standard edition set as well as the previous-generation Liberty 3 Pro, the latest lands with touch bar control as well as an onboard display and updated noise cancellation, among other things. Now available for purchase via the brand’s Amazon storefront, we will dive into the details down below.

One thing we have been waiting for any kind of worthwhile price drop on is Apple’s new Smart Folio covers for the new M2 iPad Air, and that day has now come. Amazon is now offering the 11-inch M2 iPad Apple Smart Folio starting from $69 shipped today. This is a regularly $79 cover seeing a $10 or nearly 15% price drop, but again any kind of a deal on these rarely discounted covers is worth highlighting. The Sage model is matching the Amazon all-time low while the Denim and Charcoal variants have now hit their best prices yet. While there are some great third-party options out there, not to mention the gorgeous (and super popular) Burton Goods leather models, some folks love their first-party accessories and now’s your shot to save some cash.

Amazon is landing with a solid $100 price drop on the LTE-connected 45mm Google Pixel Watch 3 at $399.99 shipped. This model carries a $500 list price and has now dropped a solid 20% to deliver a straight up $100 cash discount. This deal is only available on the matte black aluminum case model with the matching obsidian band. We saw this same offer go live at the very end of September only to start jumping back up and down to full price, but you have another shot at it right now. This is matching the lowest price we have tracked on Amazon for this configuration.

For some the previous-generation Apple gear is underwhelming at best. But for others it presents an opportunity to score what was very much a top of the line machine just a few years ago with a serious deal, and that’s what we are looking at right now. Best Buy is offering the 13-inch M1 MacBook Air down at $509.99 shipped. This is no M3 machine, nor is it an M2, but we are talking about a perfectly good casual laptop that carried a sticker price at $999 originally and still sells for $759 in refurbished condition from Apple.

Just after taking a look at its new leather iPhone 16 cases and its black titanium Apple Watch Ultra 2 band, SANDMARC is back again today with an even more robust and high-end bracelet for your Apple wearable. The brand makes what I consider to be among the most gorgeous titanium bracelet-style bands for Apple Watch Ultra, that includes both the natural titanium and the new black treatment, and it has now released its most robust model to date with the new Grade 5 Titanium Edition – Apple Watch Ultra Band. Plus, we have an exclusive deal for 9to5 readers when you apply code 9TO5TOYS at checkout.

Much like it did before the July Prime Day event with the new Echo Spot, Amazon is launching a brand new lineup of Fire HD 8 tablets alongside “new generative AI-powered experiences to the Fire tablet family” ahead of Prime Big Deal Days. The new Fire HD 8 tablets now feature 50% RAM more under the hood alongside some additional improvements, and are now available for purchase with a wild 50% launch deal from now through October 9. Head below for a closer look and more details on the new AI features coming to the rest of the lineup.

Nomad’s 2024 iPhone case collection has once again been one of the more popular options among readers and staffers here at 9to5. Its full-wrap Traditional Leather iPhone 16 case is simply gorgeous, and my favorite so far. But now it’s time to look at something a little bit different, something perhaps for folks that like to live on the edge, confident they won’t bounce the edge of the iPhone 16 on the concrete, and those looking to let their new Apple handset shine in all its glorious titanium beauty…we are hands-on with the new iPhone 16 Nomad Magnetic Leather Back case today.

We have been big fans of the Burton Goods leather accessories, especially the Apple Watch bands and iPad cases, ever since their debut. But the brand has now introduced its latest strap for Apple’s wearables with a new touch of design that combines leather and steel to match both the natural Apple Watch Ultra 2 and the new black model. Best of all, we have an exclusive 20% discount just for 9to5 readers.

Just after seeing a new low go live on the new Anker MagGo power bank with the pop-out Apple Watch charger, the brand’s official storefront has now dropped all colors of its Qi2 15W 10,000mAh MagGo Power Bank with the fold-out kickstand to $69.99 shipped. This one doesn’t have the Apple Watch action, but it does deliver a thinner carrying experience alongside the same battery life with a deeper price drop. It released earlier this year at $90 in the brighter colorways and is now within a couple bucks of the best price we have seen in 2024.

We have already primed folks for the upcoming Prime Big Deal Days sale, and now it’s time to score yourself a FREE $15 credit to maximize your savings even more. As per usual ahead of its big savings events, Amazon likes to highlight how Prime members can leverage Amazon Photos to score some FREE credit ahead of the sale, and the upcoming October Prime Big Deal Days is no exception.

Today we are hands-on with the new Native Union iPhone 16 case collection, and more specifically the (RE) Classic 3.0. In my opinion, the brand has always found a way to stand out amongst the hundreds of case and accessory makers vying for your attention, but it’s now time to see how its latest iteration of the (RE) Classic holds up for iPhone 16 users in the latest entry to our Tested with 9to5Toys series.

Today, Sony is expanding its lineup of lauded audio gear with a pair of new LinkBuds Fit, the LinkBuds Open you see above we have had some early hands-on time with, and the new LinkBuds speaker. The brand has mades waves across the ultra-competitive headphones market with its XM4 and XM5 headphones and wireless earbuds, often times undercutting and, at least for some, outperforming the big-time offerings from Bose, Apple, and others, but today it is focused on the slightly more affordable LinkBuds side of its lineup. Some of the more unique in-ears on the market are getting a refresh for 2024 and are now joined by a new Bluetooth speaker with smart audio hand-off tech as well.

We are now tracking a limited-time Lightning deal on the Twelve South Curve MacBook stand over at Amazon. This rarely discounted stand is now sitting at $51 shipped and is already starting to sell out. This Lightning price will only be live until the remaining discounted stock runs dry, so jump in while you still can. This is a regularly $60 stand that almost never goes on sale seeing a solid 15% price drop. While the less premium SE model is silver sells of $40, the black colorway is a perfect option for Space Black and even Space Gray machines. It still fetches the full MSRP directly from Twelve South for comparison’s sake.

Update: Woot is now offering physical copies of The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom down at $51.99 Prime shipped (Reg. $60).

Amazon is now offering gamers a chance to score the best deal yet on the Xbox Series X|S version of Capcom’s Dragon’s Dogma 2 down at $41.99 shipped. This is a regular $70 title now seeing a deep 41% price drop to deliver a new Amazon all-time low. PlayStation 5 gamers can also score a notable, albeit lighter, deal on this one down at $49.99 shipped from the usual $70 – this is also a new Amazon all-time low. You’re looking at the latest entry to the Dragon’s Dogma series, and a long awaited one at that. The entire scope of the game, in just about every way, has been expanded out into a massive open world experience alongside the usual monster slaying action, pawn system, and more.

Last we heard from Bose it debuted its new next-gen QuietComfort buds, but today it is introducing its new Bose SoundLink Home Bluetooth Speaker. Available exclusively from Bose (at least for the time being), the new SoundLink Home delivers a new, almost retro-inspired look and feel to the brand’s lineup with a $219 price tag. Scope it out down below.

Pebblebee isn’t an entirely new brand around here, we have featured deals on its new Android trackers and gone hands-on with its gear previously, but today it is introducing the “world’s first item trackers compatible with both Apple Find My and Google Find My Device Networks.” We have seen loads of Apple Find My trackers over the years – Nomad’s Tracking Card with wireless charging remains a favorite of mine – and even some lineups dabbling in both the Apple and Android space, but Pebblebee is looking to separate itself from the pack with its new Universal lineup that plays nice with both of tracking networks.

While we have seen the Gray and Starlight models go for $20 less, Amazon has now dropped the most affordable new M2 iPad Air down to its all-time low price in blue. You can now score the 128GB model down at $549 shipped. Regularly $599, this is a straight up $50 price drop and the lowest we have seen the blue model drop to over at Amazon. This one is still up at full price via Best Buy and starts at $527 in “excellent” open-box condition.

Monday afternoon’s roundup of the day’s best Android game and app deals is now ready to go down below. Just be sure to also stop by some of the hardware offers we spotted today headlined by the return Amazon low on Samsung’s silver and white titanium Galaxy Watch Ultra as well as this morning’s price drops on Samsung’s new Galaxy Watch 7. We also have a notable deal on its fastest 128GB 200MB/s Ultimate microSD card and a solid promotional offer on OnePlus Pad 2, but for now we are focused on the apps. Highlights include titles like Caves of Lore, Backflip Madness, Muse Dash, Zenge, and a series of freebies. Head below for a closer look.

Today we are serving up some hands-on impressions of the new Bowers & Wilkins Pi8 wireless earbuds. Complete with active noise cancellation and a charging case that features audio retransmission, the brand is well known for producing some of the better sounding audio gear out there, and it’s time to see if the new Pi8 buds are worth a lofty price of admission in the latest edition of https://9to5toys.com/guides/tested/.

Update: Samsung is still updating the site, but purchases are scheduled to go live at any minute.

Samsung is launching the new Galaxy Tab S10 with pre-orders now live on the next-generation Android tablet. Much like we saw with the Galaxy Watch 7 and Ultra, as well as the latest foldables and the new Galaxy Buds 3/Pro, the brand is also getting quite aggressive with pre-order promotions and sizable trade-in offers for folks looking to flip out their Tab S9 (and other gear) for the Galaxy Tab S10 models. Alongside as much as $800 in instant trade-in value to massively reduce the sticker price on the tablets, Samsung is also offering deals on bundled-in Slim Keyboards with purchase. Head below for more details.

Amazon’s early Prime Big Deal Days offers are really starting to kick off in major way today folks. First we caught the return all-time low price on the All-new Amazon Echo Spot, follows by Echo Pop down at just $18, and the absolutely will all-time low prices are back on the latest Echo buds. The deals are landing on all three of Amazon’s latest Alexa-ready earbuds starting with the entry-level set that debuted last fall down at just $24.99 Prime shipped.

As we have previously detailed, Apple’s new iPhone 16 Camera Control button has drawn a line in sand among case options; either they have a cutout or a proper conductive button cover. There aren’t very many options out there, save for the official Apple and Beats cases, one OtterBox model, the Spigen Ultra Hybrid T we just went hands-on with and a couple others. But we have just spotted another design from Spigen receiving the Camera Control button treatment – the new Spigen Tough Armor T (Ai) MagFit. This case is available with just a cutout with launch deal at under $25, but there is also now a new “T” model with the same button we came away impressed with on the Ultra Hybrid.

Moment, a brand well known around for delivering iPhoneography and mobile filmmaker gear, is expanding its lineup of accessories with a new pro-grade phone mount. The new Moment SuperCage transforms your iPhone 16 (as well as other smartphones) into more of a pro-grade video camera rig with a few interesting features, like an onboard USB-C hub. Now available for presale with early bird pricing, we’ll dive into more details below.

Update: Burton Goods has now redesigned the Heritage case with a new 3/4 cutout, completely mitigating the issues I had with the original cutout. You’ll find more details here, and some additional images of the new cutout can be found below.

Earlier this year Burton Goods made its worldwide debut with a range of absolutely gorgeous leather accessories for your Apple gear. Its leather M2 iPad Air and M4 iPad Pro covers were among the most popular we featured among readers, and now it’s time to go hands-on with the brand’s new Heritage Leather iPhone 16 Case as the latest entry to our venerable Tested with 9to5Toys series.

Next up in iPhone 16 case deals is Anker. The brand’s new magnetic ring cases for Apple’s latest handsets debuted recently at $35 courtesy of its official Amazon storefront and we are now seeing 20% on-page coupons at the ready. The regularly $35 Anker Magnetic Ring Stand Case for iPhone 16, 16 Plus, 16 Pro, and 16 Pro Max has now dropped to $27.99 with free shipping for Prime members or in orders over $25. This is a straight up 20% price drop delivering the lowest price we have tracked on these cases since release. While not all colors are available for all iPhone 16 models, all of them are 20% off.

We already featured CASETiFY’s new iPhone 16 cases and the modular attachments they support, and just before that it’s special Winnie the Pooh Co-Labs collection, but today it’s all about Groot. The adorable sentient tree being has graced the silver screen as of late in the Guardians of the Galaxy and is now getting its very own CASETiFY collection dubbed, “We are Groot.” Much like we have seen from past official CASETiFY collections, the new Groot lineup consists of a range of specialized designs adorning a range of the brand’s new iPhone 16 case, MacBook sleeves, AirPods covers, and more. Everything is now available for purchase and we will take a closer look at some favorites below.

Update: This deal is live once again when you apply code SAVEMORE at checkout. This deal also joins an ongoing offer on OnePlus 12 with a FREE OnePlus Watch 2R for $750.

While we did see the OnePlus 12R at $50 less a little over 2 weeks ago, the brand is now knocking $50 off the sticker price and throwing in a FREE pair of OnePlus Buds 3. Last time we saw this one starting at $400, or $100 off, but with today’s deal you’re looking a straight up $50 price drop with a FREE pair of $100 earbuds thrown in at $449.99 shipped for $150 in savings. This offers an effective value on par with the 2-day deal we saw on Prime Day back in July.

Amazon is now offering the Ember Travel Mug 2+ with Apple Find My down at $167.99 $165.37 shipped today. This smart travel mug is sold directly on the official Apple online store where it never drops below the regular $200 price tag. We have seen some very short-lived coupon offers that had it fall even lower for a couple hours, but this is otherwise within $8 of the best we have tracked across 2024. It is currently on sale via Best Buy at $172, for comparison’s sake.

Sharge (formerly Shargeek) makes some of the most interesting and unique charging gear out there, and we have a solid deal on one of them today. Coming by way of its official Amazon storefront, you can score its 10,000mAh ICEMAG Magnetic Power Bank down at $44.91 shipped. Be sure to clip the on-page coupon. You’re looking at a regularly $60 MagSafe power bank that is seeing a solid 25% price drop to deliver the lowest price we have tracked this year. This one fetches a bloated $80+ MSRP directly from the Sharge site.

Update: Samsung is still updating the site, but purchases are scheduled to go live at any minute.

Alongside pre-order deals on the new Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra and Tab S10+, today Samsung is also launching presale offers on the brand Galaxy S24 FE – a more entry-level version of its flagship handset lineup – as well as the new Galaxy Watch FE with LTE support. It too, much like the Tab S10, is seeing some major pre-order promotional deals starting today in the form of enhanced $400 trade-in values that come right off your purchase of the new phone as well as deals Galaxy Buds FE and some student offers. Check them out below.

Elevation Lab is back again today with a new AirTag accessory, and this time we are talking about the latest TagVault with a locking function. Elevation Lab, as any avid 9to5Toys reader and AirTag user will know, has long since been among our favorite Apple tracker accessory makers. As of late it has been focused more on some of the casual models, like the latest safety pin holder, but today we are featuring its latest TagVault – the “indestructible”, ultra-rugged mount lineup that just keeps getting more versatile. The new TagVault AirTag Surface Security Mount is now available for purchase starting from under $15 Prime shipped and we will dive into some details below.

Update: 30th Anniversary PlayStation 5 Digital Edition set to go live October 10…here are some links to the listings so you’re ready to go:

• Best Buy: 30th Anniversary PlayStation 5 Digital
• Walmart: 30th Anniversary PlayStation 5 Digital
  • Walmart appears as though you’ll need a Walmart+ membership for purchase
• Target: 30th Anniversary PlayStation 5 Digital

PlayStation 5 Pro pre-orders are set to go live starting today. This is the day folks. The day many of us have been waiting for. The day many of us have waiting on for what feels like years now. PlayStation 5 Pro pre-orders will go live today directly from the PlayStation Direct website alongside the 30th Anniversary PS5 gear, including both consoles, the PlayStation Portal handheld, the DualSense Edge, and the special edition DualSense. Stock will almost certainly sell out, and quick, so you’ll want to be ready to go this morning the second the race begins and we are here to help the cause.

Spigen unleashed its new iPhone 16 case collection with just about all of the usual models and styles folks familiar with the brand will already know…with one exception. With the introduction of the Camera Control button on iPhone 16, Spigen is now one of only a large handful of options out there that actually have a case that forgoes the cutout in favor of a button cover that is supposed to translate the multi-gesture action through to the phone. But at under $30 Prime shipped the question is, does it?

Amazon is now offering a relatively rare deal on the Eve Motion Sensor with Matter down at $39.95 shipped. This is a regularly $50 intelligent motion sensor that is now seeing a solid 20% price to deliver one of the lowest prices we have tracked this year. This model did drop to $35 for a couple days during the July Prime Day sale, but it rarely goes on sale outside of holiday events like that and has otherwise held strong between $45 and $48 for all off 2024 outside of a brief stint at $40 back in February.

Nomad is one of our favorite Apple gear accessory makers, any 9to5Toys reader already knows this. We just went hands-on with its absolutely gorgeous new Traditional Leather iPhone 16 case in brown (it’s also available in black) and loved it. But the brand has now expanded its latest collection of iPhone 16 cases and Apple Watch bands shortly after the debut of the new handset covers and the reveal of its 2024 Rocky Point band with a new collection of Forest green colorways. Scope them out below.
