Update: Amazon has now dropped the price on the AirTag at $23.99, respectively. Rarely ever dropping under $25, this is the official Prime Day price and it’s still live.

Amazon is once again offering the the 4-pack of Apple’s AirTags down at $74.98 shipped. Regularly $99, this is slightly below our previous mention, $1 under the recent Walmart offer, and delivers a solid 20% price drop. We did see a drop to $78 months ago just before this pack fell to $75 for a few days back in March, but this is otherwise on par with the lowest we have tracked this year on Amazon. While the single AirTag listing has also dropped back down to $24 Prime shipped from the usual $19, the 4-pack yields a price at $19.75 per AirTag to deliver the lowest price per tag we can find from a reputable dealer right now. 

Amazon Prime Day 2024 is here folks, and while the deals have focused on hardware over actual console titles this year, there are some notable price drops floating around for sure. One that caught our eye is on Final Fantasy XVI for PlayStation 5 down at $29.99 with free shipping for Prime members or in orders over $35. This is a regularly $70 title that has most recently been floating around in the $48 range and has now dropped to a new Amazon all-time low. The latest numbered entry in the series, it takes fans of the series to an “epic dark fantasy world where the fate of the land is decided by the mighty Eikons and the Dominants who wield them.” Players take on the role of Clive Rosfield, but the real standout gameplay mechanic/experience here is the Dominants, where players take on the form of mastic Eikons in epic Kaiju-style battles. Head below for more of the best Prime Day console game deals.

Update: The wildly low price we spotted on AirPods Max at $398 shipped for a short time last week has now returned just before we jump into Prime Day proper. It is only live on the Space Gray set for now, but we will keep an eye out for the others.

As part of its early Prime Day deals, Amazon is now stepping in with a new all-time low on Apple’s AirPods Max from $398 shipped! The regularly $549 flagship over-ear headphones are now $150 off to deliver the best price we have ever tracked on Amazon. This deal is now live on all colors outside of the green set, offering what can only be described as a price we could have only hoped for during Prime Day this year. We have tracked a number of price drops at $100 off this year, but $150 off is nearly unheard of.

Pre-orders are now live on the new Hyrule Edition Nintendo Switch Lite ahead of the September 26 release date. The special edition portable Switch handheld console made its worldwide debut back in June alongside the new Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom that is set for release on the same day. Pre-orders for both the new Zelda game and the shiny new Switch Lite edition are now at the ready via retailers like Best Buy and we suspect the console might not be around for very long.

This smart speaker is essentially an updated version of the previous-generation Spot, taking on a more elevated form-factor similar to what we see on the entry-level Echo Pop. The new 2024 Amazon Echo Spot features all of the Alexa voice control prowess you would expect, but adds a customizable nightstand or desktop-ready display to the experience. The 2024 summer Prime Day will take place on July 16 and 17 this year. It’s official folks. Amazon has now announced this year’s summer Prime Day dates – the festivities will be kicking off on July 16, 2024 and, as usual, carrying through to end of day on July 17.  The 48-hour event is now officially on the books and we will be here working literally around the clock – I’m not just saying that, we literally (almost) don’t sleep at all for two-days – to ensure as much of the money you worked hard to earn stays in your pocket while still being able to bring home some sweet gear.
