Slow Shutter Cam for iOS is now available for $1. Regularly listed at $2, this is the first time it has dipped this low since March of 2015. Previous to that, the only time we have seen it go for less was way back in 2012. The photo app, which produces interesting slo-mo style light trail effects like those usually captured through a DSLR (among other things), also works with Apple Watch. It is on sale from now through the 23rd.

Coming in August, car enthusiasts and LEGO master builders alike will be checking out the detail that went into LEGO’s latest creation. This 1960’s Volkswagen Beetle Creator set has 1,167 pieces and measures 11-inches high, 10-inches long, and four inches wide.

As usual, Nintendo’s E3 2016 presence came by way of a special Treehouse Live event today. After massive showcases from Microsoft and Sony yesterday, it’s all about Zelda now. Maybe one the of most anticipated titles in recent memory, Nintendo showed all sorts of new Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild footage in glorious HD, along with more on Pokemon Sun/Moon.

In today’s best game/app deals, Amazon is offering the New Nintendo 3DS XL in black or red for $174.99 shipped. That’s about 14% off the original $200 price tag it still fetches at most retailers. This is matching the Amazon all-time low. It has the C-stick controls, a faster processor and plays all of the Nintendo 3DS games.

Sony came out very strong at this year’s E3 with one of the most memorable showcase events in recent memory. It was a barrage of games, many of which were completely new titles, along with some very exciting details. The brand new God of War, an actual release date for The Last Guardian, a new Resident Evil title, new Horizon Zero Dawn gameplay footage and even more. Pricing and release dates for PS VR, the new Hideo Kojima game and what might be the most exciting Spider-Man game we have seen in many years, thanks to developer Insomniac.

The biggest gaming conference of the year is in full swing, with most of the major events occurring later today and tomorrow morning. EA kicked things off early yesterday afternoon, followed by quite an eventful Bethesda E3 2016 showcase. This year, we got a host of announcements on ID products including more Doom and a surprise Quake reveal. Arkane dropped some new gameplay footage/details on the highly anticipated sequel to Dishonored and the almost forgotten Prey made a triumphant return.

But now the physics-based multiplayer title is going free for a limited time, down from its usual $20 price tag. From now through June 12th, Rocket League is free-to-play for all Xbox Live members.

Xbox One official price drop brings 1TB bundles w/ multiple games down to just $319 shipped, more

Microsoft has now officially dropped all Xbox One bundles $50 with options starting at $299. The sale comes a few months ahead of E3 2016 and will run until Microsoft’s big conference on July 13th. With the $50 price drop now mostly live across the board, we are seeing some very notable discounts at Amazon, Best Buy, GameStop, Microsoft Store and more. But it’s the rumored E3 bound Xbox One slim that makes the move most interesting.

Several outlets have reported rumors on a new, slimmer Xbox One along with a pair of possible new Xbox TV streaming boxes. Both of which could be making an appearance come July 13th. While that is something to keep in mind if you’re in the market for a new Xbox One, pricing on the new model isn’t likely to get as low as today’s deals for some time.

You’ll find popular titles like Candy Crush Saga, The Sims, Farmville 2 and more in this promotion. The credit can only be used for in-app purchases at Amazon Underground and expires 10 days after it is distributed. Full Terms and Conditions below.

To redeem your $5 promotional credit, simply follow these directions:

  1. Visit the Amazon Underground promotional page and enter your email address to receive the download link.
  2. Access your phone’s Settings page and press Security or Applications
  3. Check the Unknown Services box and press OK when prompted
  4. On your Downloads or My Files page, find “Amazon_App.apk” and install
  5. Download any of these games to receive your $5 credit, which should arrive via email a few minutes later.

Gran Turismo is finally making its big return to PlayStation this fall. The popular racing game will be released for PS4 on November 15th. There’s any number of unique ways to type on your iPhone these days. With new third-party keyboards coming out weekly, it seems, you’re bound to find an alternative to the stock option that ships with iOS. But what about physical keyboards? While there are Bluetooth options designed for iPhone, the majority are either too large or have been disproportionally shrunk down.

An upcoming device called Tap was revealed this week with a design that looks straight out of the movies. This Bluetooth wearable tracks the movements of your fingers to recreate a virtual keyboard on “nearly any surface.”

After being what seemed like the last console to receive the Minecraft-treatment, Wii U is now the beneficiary of a few exclusive add-ons. The wildly popular title, known for its simple gameplay and fun DLCs, will be receiving a new Mario-themed texture pack. It will include a completely visual redesign of the game, 40 (!!!) different characters and 15 pieces of music from Mario Kart 64. It is slated to hit the Nintendo eShop in June. Of course, Minecraft has long been the home to a variety of popular texture packs including Star Wars, The Simpsons, Fallout and more. This will be the first official DLC from Nintendo for this title. Minecraft: Wii U Edition is available through the Nintendo Shop for $19.99.

Update (5/9 9:00am): Pre-orders are now available for Battlefield 1 on Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC. An additional 20% discount is available for Prime members at Amazon or over at Best Buy for Gamers Club Unlocked.

Just a few minutes ago, DICE officially unveiled Battlefield 1. The latest first person shooter from the wildly popular franchise takes gamers to the “genesis” of all-out warfare. Pre-orders have yet to be announced, but we’ll update this post as more information is available. We do know, thanks to the reveal, that it will initially be released on Xbox One exclusively for EA Access subscribers. It is set to release on all platforms October 21. Moog brings its $10,000 Model 15 synth to iPad and iPhone w/ new $30 app

Moog Music has been known for producing some of the most popular synthesizers since the 70s— we reviewed a couple of the newer models in our Logic Pros series and noted that iPad/Mac synths still can’t quite capture the experience of even a $1,000 Moog. But today Moog is releasing its own iPad and iPhone version of its popular $10,000 Model 15, aiming to offer a similar experience in a $30 mobile app. 

Moog’s own techs helped program the app at the Moog Factory in Asheville, NC, according to the company, with the app both resembling the look and sound of the original 1970’s Model 15 hardware:

App Store Free App of the Week: Camera Plus w/ AirSnap goes free for the first time in months (Reg. $2)

Update (5/5 4:00pm): Apple has now named Camera Plus its latest App Store Free App of the Week.

Global Delight’s Camera Plus with AirSnap iPhone, iPad and Apple Watch app is now available for free. It includes several features to help you better capture and edit photos on your mobile device. Over the past couple of years Camera Plus has typically sold for $0.99-$1.99. Today’s deal is the first time we’ve seen this app available at no cost since last November.
