Destiny fans rejoice: the Sony’s PS4 will be getting the limited edition treatment in honor of Bungie’s hit first person shooter. Coming this fall, the Destiny 500GB console will include a copy of Taken King Legendary Edition, which has the original game, Expansions I and II as well as Taken King. The white colored system has a gold crest in the center and a matching controller.
Pricing has yet to be detailed, but this model will be released on September 15.

Back in December of last year Telltale announced that it would be working with Mojang on a story-based Minecraft title known as Story Mode. Quite a departure from the usual free-form, creative gameplay Minecraft took the world over with, the title looks to bring Telltale’s narrative touch into the mix. Today we get our first trailer for the 5-part episodic game (seen below), along with a quick glimpse of what to expect in terms of visuals and story.
This is not an online game, there is full dialog courtesy of Patton Oswalt and others, and there’s a definitive story arch and ending. While there is player choice driven content, like with other Telltale adventure games, players will be following along the story of Jesse and his friends as they attempt to save there world with the help of the Legendary Order:
Jesse and his group of friends revere the legendary Order of the Stone; four adventurers who slayed an Ender Dragon. The Order are the very best at what they do: Warrior, Redstone Engineer, Griefer, and Architect. While at EnderCon, Jesse and his friends discover that something is wrong… something dreadful. Terror is unleashed, and they must set out on a journey to find The Order of the Stone if they are to save their world from oblivion.
The game will be available as a digital download “soon” for Mac, PC, all major consoles (other than Nintendo’s), iOS and Android. Some reports suggest “soon” could be as early as the next few weeks.

Amazon has quietly given its Prime members another valuable benefit: discounts on recently released and upcoming video games. Just yesterday we shared a couple of these deals in our daily apps/games roundup. At the time we thought they were just a couple of one-offs. But now we’ve come to learn that these types of deals may be here to stay.These discounts cover select video game consoles, accessories, and games that are sold by Amazon direct. There isn’t an easy way to view all the current offers. The only way to identify a video game item as having special Prime pricing is to look for the “Amazon Prime member Savings” blurb (shown above) on each item’s listing.
Even Prime members on a free trial or discounted Student membership qualify for the special pricing. However, you won’t know the exact discount amount until you reach the final page of checkout. That means the advertised price never changes even if the item is eligible for Prime savings. Apple is back again with another big sale on iOS games in the App Store. We saw some of these titles on sale through the week and now Apple has officially collected them as part of its “Great Games” sale. Many of these apps are big names that we rarely see go on sale.
IGN is now offering Bloons Tower Defense 5 for iPhone/iPod and the HD version for iPad as its free game of the month. These titles typically go for $3 and $5 respectively, with today’s price drop being only the second time the iPhone version has gone free and the first instance for the HD rendition. There are a few details to ensure you receive this offer. First visit this page at the Xbox Store to pre-order and a download code for Fallout 3 will be delivered to your Xbox message center within 7-10 days. After you’ve secured the code, redeem it on your Xbox 360 for digital download.

We first detailed the new Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 5 for Xbox One and PlayStation 4 last month. Today, the first official trailer has been launched with a full break down from Tony Hawk himself. Microsoft continues to make news with Xbox One, today announcing a new Limited Edition Forza 6 console. This new addition to its line-up is inspired by the new Ford GT which will be making an appearance on the cover when the game is released in September.
