Update: Pre-orders are now live on the new Jabra Elite 8 Active Gen 2 and Elite 10 Gen 2 wireless earbuds. They will begin shipping on June 24, 2024.

Jabra’s wireless earbud solutions have been in the conversation for our favorite multi-platform solutions for years now, with a steady stream of upgrades and enhancements, but today the new Elite 8 Active Gen 2 and Elite 10 Gen 2 are set to take things to the next level. While you will find updates to the brand’s active noise cancellation tech as well as all-new Natural HearThrough action and some new color options, today the brand is looking to make headlines with what it calls the “world’s first LE Audio smart case.”

Metal Gear Solid Δ: Snake Eater has to be one of my most anticipated game releases of the year (or ever) – I grew up up playing these games, my X (Twitter) profile pic is a classic image of Snake, and, more importantly, GameStop might have just leaked the release date!!! A new trailer for the game debuted at the epic Xbox Game Showcase over the weekend – it looks incredible – and a new video featuring the game landed on the Konami YouTube channel today announcing the pre-orders (now live on Amazon on PS5 and Xbox, if you’re quick), and it looks like it might be releasing on November 17th! Trying to choose the perfect Robot vacuum and/or mop in today’s market can be quite an overwhelming experience. Without extensive knowledge of companies or their designs, it can seem like there is always some new or alternate feature that gets in the way of making any final decisions. If you had asked me years ago which models are best for everyday cleaning solutions without needing to babysit it, I’d likely have said that the big brand robots all sport similar performances – especially in the era of “bumper bots.”

In 2024, however, my sentiments towards preferable models has definitely shifted and solidified around a few key brands that are truly putting out innovative changes with each new robot. Today’s Xbox Game Showcase 2024 was loaded with exciting new world premieres and updates on fan-favorite franchises – DOOM: The Dark Ages, South of Midnight, a new METAL GEAR SOLID Δ: SNAKE EATER trailer, the Perfect Dark gameplay reveal, and the Gears of War: E-Day – as well as the official reveal of three new Xbox Series X|S consoles. We spotted leaked rumors and imagery previously on a potential all-white, all-digital Xbox Series X, and we now know it is indeed a real thing. While the 2024 Summer Game Fest seemed a far more tame and slightly less exciting event than year’s past, despite some major reveals and patented Keighley world premieres of course, the June gaming events are just starting and next up is Xbox. As we covered previously, Xbox announced its big summer event(s) back at the end of April and that day has now arrived. Finally, the Moza R3 is officially available! At just $400, it’s the cheapest direct drive sim-racing bundle officially licensed for Xbox. Well, the day has finally arrived as Sony has officially confirmed PlayStation VR2 PC support. After leaks detailing some sort of adapter to enable the long-awaited feature surfaced, Sony has now officially unveiled a new add-on allowing gamers to “expand their game library with thousands of SteamVR titles,” albeit for an extra fee and with a limited feature set. After being (sort of) unveiled last month, the new ASUS ROG Ally X PC gaming handheld is now officially available for pre-order ahead of launch on July 22. The latest portable gaming PC from the brand is indeed not a complete redesign, or a ROG Ally 2 if you will, but the brand has made some marked improvements to its design with small enhancements all over the place, a much better battery, and double the storage capacity out of the box. It would seem ASUS’ ROG unit has attempted to take in much of the criticism the original handhelds received after launch to deliver the machine some might suggest it should have in the first place. Okay, thanks for knocking $100 off for a limited time Sony, but where’s the PS VR2 PC support you promised? One thing, just about everyone, feels is holding the PS VR2 platform back is its required connection to a PS5. This arguably makes for a more stable experience for all users, but it needs to get PC support and, if you ask me, it needs it soon. It has been out in the wild for well over a year now, the game library still feels a bit stunted (although it is showing off new titles tomorrow), and, at least in some ways, sales are too because of it. Tarnished preparing to (die) embark on the Land of Shadow finally got a first look at the highly-anticipated new Elden Ring Shadow of the Erdtree expansion back in February, and they will again today.
