Square Enix released the latest main installment of its flagship RPG franchise in late 2016 to solid reviews. While Final Fantasy XV may not be a perfect experience, long time fans of the series were certainly appeased and steady DLC add-ons have helped the game’s post-release life span. When Microsoft first announced Xbox Game Pass back in June of 2017, there was an initial offering of some 100 titles available for play. But the subscription service at times felt like it wasn’t offering the latest games that we were all pining for. Fast forward to today, and Microsoft is announcing a few major updates to its Xbox Game Pass service.

Microsoft plans on expanding its subscription offerings to include all day one releases from its in-house studio, which includes future iterations of Halo, Forza and others.
