As spotted by our cohorts across the virtual hall, Sony appears to have just essentially confirmed its upcoming WF-1000XM6 earbuds with a new teaser trailer on its official YouTube channel. While it hasn’t precisely stated as much, the tech lurking in the shadows here is almost certainly its next-generation earbuds. 

The new LEGO set unveilings just keep coming this month, and right behind the recent Ideas Yu-Gi-Oh! challenge submissions opening, we’re now getting the official reveal of the next LEGO sci-fi themed sets, the Icons 11389 Project Hail Mary. Not only is this new set, which is based on a very popular novel already open for pre-orders, but it will also be shipping out ahead of the long-awaited movie adaptation that comes a few weeks later. Nintendo hosted its first Partner Showcase Direct this morning with a series of updates and announcements. While we now have official confirmation of a host of Bethesda tiles landing on Switch 2 after around a year of speculation – Fallout 4, Elder Scrolls Oblivion, and Indiana Jones and the Great Circle, included – it also quickly reminded folks about the Hollow Knight – Nintendo Switch 2 Edition upgrade pack. 

Nintendo officially confirmed this week’s Nintendo Direct showcases yesterday, and it is set to go live this morning. Rumors and predictions pointed at an official livestream hitting the airwaves in the first week of February and that it very much is, with a full 30-minutes of updates on upcoming Switch and Switch 2 games. 

After sitting is early access mode for Echo customers for quite some time, Amazon has now announced that Alexa+ is now available for everyone. The upgrade AI assistant costs $19.99 per month, but you can score at no additional cost if you’re a Prime member. 

Rumor had it we would be getting the next Nintendo Direct this week, and Nintendo has now confirmed as much. The next Nintendo Direct will go live tomorrow at the usual time. Details below. 

Update: The new Belkin UltraCharge Pro 2-in-1 Convertible Magnetic Charger is now available on Amazon in both the black and cream colorways. 

Belkin updated its lineup of wireless magnetic charging stands last summer headlined by the 3-in-1 Belkin UltraCharge Pro 25W. While we await the next title to land in the coveted GameCube library, and just after getting a chance to get an early hands-on look at the new Virtual Boy, Nintendo has just officially revealed a Switch Online February 2026 update with a pair of new additions to the Game Boy library.

During today’s lengthy Nintendo Direct, we did not get any updates on the Switch Online GameCube library, but Nintendo did officially announce Virtual Boy! It is ready to add an entirely new console to its Nintendo Classics collection in the form of the ultra-retro Virtual Boy library alongside an actual Virtual Boy peripheral you stick your Switch or Switch 2 inside of. Right on the heels of the Super Mario Galaxy Movie Direct from last weekend with our fist look at Yoshi and some new details ahed of the April release, an official announcement was made for another Nintendo Direct stream and it is set to go live this morning. 

Just after the reveal of the new LOTR Sauron’s Helmet set, some new SMART Star Wars LEGO builds have arrived. While the three initial LEGO Star Wars Smart Play sets with the included Smart Bricks are still up for pre-order, today LEGO has unveiled a series of new Smart Play Star Wars sets: the new AT-ST Attack on Endor at $49.99, the Millennium Falcon at $99.99, the Mos Eisley Cantina at $79.99, Luke’s Landspeeder at $39.99, and Yoda’s Hut and Jedi Training at $69.99. But there is a one not so SMART caveat to consider with these new builds. 

The realm of J. R. R. Tolkien’s Middle Earth is as widely expansive as was his imagination, and LEGO is expanding its dedicated theme of the popular fantasy series with an all-new brick-built set – and this one is coming in at a much more accessible price rate than the past builds, not to mention bringing along a highly-coveted (and formerly exclusive) minifigure. Nintendo has announced the next Direct livestream and it is set to go live in a few day’s time.

Alongside the new overview trailer for Nintendo’s adorable Talking Flower collectible from Super Mario Bros. Wonder, we are also getting some details on the actual game itself. We already knew the Switch 2 edition and an expansion were on the way this spring, but Nintendo has debuted a new trailer and announced the official release date alongside some special edition amiibo too. 

Nintendo officially revealed The Super Mario Galaxy Movie as part of the 40th anniversary Mario Bros. celebration last year. After that, it served up the world premiere trailer, and it has now announced an official Super Mario Galaxy Movie Nintendo Direct!

Update: Nintendo has also announced that Super Mario Bros. Wonder – Nintendo Switch 2 Edition + Meetup in Bellabel Park is launching on on March 26 with new amiibo (Elephant Mario, Captain Toad and Talking Flower, Poplin and Prince Florian). Trailer below.

As part of the Mario Bros. 40th anniversary, Nintendo announced an upcoming expansion for Super Mario Bros. Wonder that is set to release sometime this spring, but it is also releasing a physical collectible known as Talking Flower too. Today it launched an overview trailer for its adorable new Talking Flower, serving up some details on some of its (sort of) smart capabilities and a release date – pre-orders are set to go live today. 

The first Xbox Developer Direct event of 2026 goes live today. This will be our first Xbox dev showcase in quite some time and it all goes live down below starting at 10 a.m. PT/1 p.m. ET. 

Fans of the brick-built Mushroom Kingdom world are already very familiar with the LEGO Mario Kart: Mario & Standard Kart set. It debuted last year shortly before the new Mario Kart World landed for Switch 2, and now LEGO appears to have just teased an upcoming Luigi Mario Kart set.

Today Sony is unveiling its next-generation open buds known as the LinkBuds Clip Truly Wireless Open Earbuds. Donkey Kong has been back in the spotlight with a triumphant showing in the new 3D Bananza game, but last year Nintendo unleashed Donkey Kong Country Returns HD and it has now launched a FREE update for Switch and Switch 2. 

Players will soon be heading out on an interstellar expedition to uncover the mysteries of Tau Ceti IV when Marathon hits store shelves in early March, but Sony has also now revealed a new limited edition Marathon DualSense Controller as well. Pre-orders are set to go live next week and you can get a closer look down below. 

Nomad introduced one of the nicest and most unique (before the budget brands started to drop cheap clones anyway) metal bracelet-style Apple Watch bands last year. It is known as the Stratos and today it is debuting  very special new color treatment.

Back in November LEGO officially teased what could only have been a brand new The Legend of Zelda Ocarina of Time set. Not a whole lot was known back then, outside of what we could glean from the teaser video and the 2026 release date. But, right on the heels of the new SMART Brick Star Wars kits going up for sale, it appears images and details of the new set have now leaked online. 

Sony kicked off 2026 with fresh new DualSense wireless controllers and PS5 covers as part of its Hyperpop collection. There are three new colors in this collection – Rhythm Blue, Remix Green, and Techno Red – all of which feature a gradient effect that shifts from black to bright neon.
