Haven’t we all been in that situation, in need of a piece of paper to sketch out that important idea? Trying to capture a visual representation of that conversation or meeting you just had at the coffee shop. Today, we’ve got a pretty cool Kickstarter project that wants to take those worries away.
Actually, it just wants to take the paper away all together… Read more
App downloads are a centerpiece of owning an iOS device, but with each app comes a whole load of unwanted data and memory use. PhoneClean is an app for PC and Mac that helps you sweep out unused apps from your device, along with unwanted caches, cookies, messages and attachments, crash logs, and media files. It can also clean up your browsing history for speedier web surfing, and fix corrupt or partially synced files, such as music and video. As a safety net, PhoneClean backs up everything on your phone before every clearout, and if you have jailbroken your device, you can shrink the apps you want to keep by losing inessential components.
- Finds and removes hidden temp, cookie, and cache files (temporarily incompatible with iOS 8.3)
- Deletes private SMS, iMessage, MMS, as well as the associated pictures, audio and videos
- Cleans up all your internet browsing history
- Removes discarded emails and attachments for webmail
- Gets rid of useless app crash logs and system notifications
- Fixes corrupt and partially synced music, video, and other media files to make them playable
- Removes unwanted apps, photos, outdated Notes, and Calendar events
- Shrinks app sizes by removing all unnecessary files (for jailbroken devices)
- Creates full backups prior to any cleaning action
The benefits of being able to use your phone safely while driving are obvious. But getting your phone into many holders is a challenge, so the Neutron A’s magnetic mounting is refreshing. You simply stick a small patch onto the back of your phone or tablet which makes it strongly attracted to the Neutron A’s magnet. As a result, you simply have to hold your device up to the mount for it to lock into place. The mount and the stick-on pad are held on by strong-but-removable 3M VHB tape (usually used in aircraft maintenance), meaning you can use the Neutron A with a case.
- Allows quick removal and attachment of your device
- Machined from solid aerospace aluminum
- Holds devices up to 1 lb
- Contains shielded magnets that will never lose their hold (even dirt and temperature resistant)
- Includes 3M VHB tape that is easily installed and removed
- Works with a case attached to your device

It happily takes any device up to phablet size, and the suction cup is easily washable.

Coffee aficionados know the value of freshly and properly roasted beans. To many, the difference in taste and complexity between a Keurig machine and a freshly roasted and ground brew is undeniable. More complex and professional style coffee makers have come down in price and are now considered a mainstay for some.
While pour-over and siphon coffee are becoming more familiar experiences at home, roasting beans is typically left to the experts. One Kickstarter campaign is attempting to change all that, bringing all the capabilities of larger roasters to the kitchen with iOS connectivity as the cherry on top… Read more

These days it seems that we are trying to make everything smart. Even products that have been around for a long time. Something as simple as a bicycle, which has been around for years, suddenly has all sorts of possibilities once a smartphone is connected to it.
A group of inventors is not attempting to reinvent the wheel, but rather the pedal. They are simply trying to prevent bike theft and make your two wheeled vehicle just a little bit smarter.
