In the lead up to Star Wars: The Last Jedi, we’ve seen a quite a few sets trickle in to further excite fans. But with less than a month before the next continuation of the Star Wars saga, LEGO is showcasing a few more kits to build out the lineup.
In this release we’re getting 9 new kits, most of which are directly centered around the new film and include Porgs, microfighters, First Order troops and more. As we get closer to the holidays, these sets will be must-have additions to any LEGO or Star Wars fan’s collection and will make perfect gifts.
Update: Amazon is also offering the Architecture Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum for $63.99 shipped. That’s a $12 discount and the lowest we’ve seen it go for. The Chicago Skyline is at an all-time low of $32 as well and if that isnt enough for you the Buckingham Palace is $10 off and down to $40.

The LEGO Taj Mahal kit has not only been a highly-coveted fan favorite, but also one of the largest models sold by the company for some time. After being dethroned back in September by the new UCS Millennium Falcon, the set’s part-count fell to be the second highest. Today LEGO has announced that it will be resurrecting the iconic Indian landmark in the new Creator Expert 10256 Taj Mahal set. The kit goes on sale November 27th with the retail price of $370. And while the re-release won’t be reclaiming its position, it will be an opportunity for collectors to get their hands on the model.

The past month has been big for new LEGO set releases, with the company unveiling a variety of themed-kits from Star Wars, Batman, and even the crowdfunding platform LEGO Ideas. And since our last roundup, plenty of noteworthy projects have popped up, all vying to be made a real set and added to store shelves.

Continuing this, LEGO today has announced not just one, but two new sets; now Voltron Defender Of The Universe and Ship In A Bottle, The Flagship Leviathan will be joining the list of crowd-sourced kits. We’ve certainly seen some impressive LEGO builds lately, like this LEGO Statue of Liberty. Now, LEGO is bringing a few life-sized characters to its booth at San Diego Comic-Con today through Sunday. The top three that were revealed are Justice League‘s Flash, Luke Skywalker from Star Wars: The Last Jedi and Thor depicted from the upcoming Marvel film. All three builds will be on display alongside new and upcoming sets and are sure to impress convention goers.
We have seen our fair share of amazing LEGO kits from a custom-made 9-foot tall Statue of Liberty and educational robotic kits to the new 5,000-piece Ninjago City set. Today we have another interesting custom-build based on Sony’s The Last of Us game.

The Smithsonian’s National Museum of American History just opened a new wing, and it’s celebrating with a giant LEGO masterpiece. The newly renovated area of the museum focuses on American democracy with exhibitions on the theme, “The Nation We Build Together.” Along those lines, the museum teamed up with LEGO to honor that symbol of the American melting pot, the Statue of Liberty.

Back in January at CES 2017, LEGO introduced a new line of products called Boost aimed at getting kids to learn coding in the funnest way possible. It’s very similar in nature to LittleBits latest kit which coincidentally also goes on sale today at a much higher price.
