Following last month’s release of Finn and Captain Phasma, LEGO is introducing two new characters. Now with the latest addition to the Star Wars franchise just a month away, Rey and Kylo Ren join the BrickHeadz lineup.

Update 11/26: The Taj Mahal set is finally available for purchase from LEGO.

The LEGO Taj Mahal kit has not only been a highly-coveted fan favorite, but also one of the largest models sold by the company for some time. After being dethroned back in September by the new UCS Millennium Falcon, the set’s part-count fell to be the second highest. Today LEGO has announced that it will be resurrecting the iconic Indian landmark in the new Creator Expert 10256 Taj Mahal set. The kit goes on sale November 27th with the retail price of $370. And while the re-release won’t be reclaiming its position, it will be an opportunity for collectors to get their hands on the model.

Backed by LEGO Ideas, the Women of NASA set is finally ready for a public release. Complete with 231 pieces, 4 minifigures and 3 dioramas, the set looks to be a great way to get kids interested in space from an early age.

On the tale end of last week’s announcement of the first LEGO Star Wars BrickHeadz figures, the company has now unveiled two new characters from a galaxy far far away. LEGO’s line of Architecture kits are known for being exciting, detail-packed builds and even better display pieces. The LEGO Batman movie came out at the beginning of the year and to little surprise was a huge hit. A line of sets was released alongside the feature-length animated film which were fantastic builds for Batman fans and LEGO collectors alike. Now with the holiday season rolling around, LEGO is looking to wow fans once again with the release of its massive new Joker Manor (70922) set. The kit is scheduled to release on Black Friday with a $270 price tag and includes almost 3,500 pieces, 10 minifigures, tons of play features and more.

Maunzi is a fun new robot that kids can build from the ground up then control using LEGOs and a smartphone. The interactive toy can teach kids about robotics, how to develop code and even use Augmented Reality. Currently being funded on Kickstarter, Maunzi is still working to meet its fundraising goal with 14 days left in its campaign.

The new Episode 8 sets include everything from TIE Fighter Pilots and Chewbacca to Heavy Scout Walkers and an awesome blocky version of everyone’s favorite new Star Wars character, BB-8. While we are expecting a massive new Star Wars kit to drop any day now, today’s kits offer up some of the more modest options in the new collection along with LEGO’s “Buildable Figure” models and more.

We’ve certainly seen some impressive LEGO builds lately, like this LEGO Statue of Liberty. Now, LEGO is bringing a few life-sized characters to its booth at San Diego Comic-Con today through Sunday. The top three that were revealed are Justice League‘s Flash, Luke Skywalker from Star Wars: The Last Jedi and Thor depicted from the upcoming Marvel film. All three builds will be on display alongside new and upcoming sets and are sure to impress convention goers.

The Smithsonian’s National Museum of American History just opened a new wing, and it’s celebrating with a giant LEGO masterpiece. The newly renovated area of the museum focuses on American democracy with exhibitions on the theme, “The Nation We Build Together.” Along those lines, the museum teamed up with LEGO to honor that symbol of the American melting pot, the Statue of Liberty.

The LEGO Master Builders designed and then created a 125-pound, 1:32 scale replica of the New York City statue for display at the museum, where it will remain until the end of the year. You can watch the process in LEGO’s time lapse video below.

Back in January at CES 2017, LEGO introduced a new line of products called Boost aimed at getting kids to learn coding in the funnest way possible. It’s very similar in nature to LittleBits latest kit which coincidentally also goes on sale today at a much higher price. Today the new line of “smart toys” are available for pre-order exclusively from LEGO and will start shipping in late July.
