May 2011 - May 2024

Apple’s iPad lineup has expanded in recent years, featuring varying displays that range in size from 7.9-inches up to 12.9-inches. Designed with consumers and pros in mind, the latest iPads from Apple deliver something for everyone.

The best iPad deals each year typically top out at $199. During the holiday season we’ll up to $250 off at various retailers, including but not limited to, Amazon, Best Buy, Target, Walmart, and B&H. Authorized retailers, such as those previously listed, generally provide the best iPad deals throughout the year. However, some third-party offers do crop up from time to time with discounted prices worth noting.

Apple’s iPad line starts at $329 for the 10.2-inch model, and goes up to 10.5-inch iPad Air from $499. The high-end iPad Pro offerings are available at $999 and up in both 11- and 12.9-inch sizings.

UGREEN discounts new Apple Pencil competitor with magnetic charging to $22 low (Reg. $30)

The official UGREEN storefront over at Amazon is offering it’s new 2nd generation Pencil for iPad at $21.99 Prime shipped once coupon JVS8OWV5 is applied at checkout. Folks without a Prime membership can check out with $35 or more to score free shipping. This new release just arrived at Amazon on Saturday and has a list price of $30. Thanks to the coupon above, you can forego retail and shave 20% off. Unsurprisingly, this is the best price we’ve tracked and great timing if you just ordered a new iPad. Hot on the heels of new iPads and Apple Pencil Pro, UGREEN is undercutting the cost of a first-party stylus for iPad by a notable amount. Even better, it can be charged magnetically along the side of your iPad, just like some of Apple’s official Pencil offerings. Bear in mind that Apple moved some things around in the new M4 iPad Pro and M2 Air devices so this won’t work with those. You can find a full compatibility list in the bullets below. Other features in the latest iPad stylus from UGREEN include palm rejection, tilt sensitivity, and a USB-C port for charging which makes this a viable option for folks that don’t have one of the latest iPad Pro or Air models. There is one feature you’ll forfeit with this offering and that’s pressure sensitivity, so do keep that in mind. Continue reading for more deals.

Skipping the new M4/M2 iPads? The venerable 256GB iPad mini 6 now $109 off at $540, more from $400

$90 off From $400

While Apple’s M4 iPad Pro and M2 iPad Air are set for delivery today, and available for in-store pickup right now in most places, those not sold on the new pricey Apple tablets will want to check out this deal on the upgraded, current-generation Apple iPad mini instead. Amazon is now offering the iPad mini 6 with the elevated 256GB of storage starting from $539.99 shipped in all four colorways. Be sure to clip the on-page coupons. This configuration will run you $649 straight from Apple and over at Best Buy right now. We are indeed still seeing the entry-level 64GB variant at the same $400 we have been tracking on and off for a while a now, but the 256GB model is now $10 under our previous mention and at the lowest we can find. Clearance pricing hits prev-gen M1 iPad Air at $399 low today ($200 under the new base M2 model)

Orig. $599 $399

Update: Amazon wasn’t going to let Walmart have all the fun on the clearance M1 iPad Air deals were they? Nope. Amazon has now price matched at the $399 low. Everything else you need to know is waiting below.

Some folks weren’t exactly stoked about the recent Amazon price drops on the now previous-generation M1 iPad Air starting from $449. I get it, but that is $150 under the price of entry on the new model despite it having double the storage space, and Walmart has now taken things even further. It is offering the base-tier Apple M1 10.9-inch iPad Air with 64GB of storage down at $399 shipped in various colorways. This model carried a $599 list before being superseded by the new M2 models (they are seeing early deals by the way), and is now $200 below that. Again the new base model M2 starts with 256GB of storage at $599, but today’s deal is $200 below that as well, making for notable clearance pricing for folks not overly concerned with the latest and greatest from Apple – this is still a great tablet if you ask me, all things considered, and a personal favorite of mine. More details below.

First straight up cash deals land on Apple’s brand new M4 iPad Pro at $950 (Reg. $999)

Reg. $999 $950

After seeing the first cash deal on Apple’s new M2 iPad Air this past weekend, Amazon has now knocked $49 off the new M4 iPad Pro as well. After pre-orders went live on all configurations last week, Best Buy landed with a $50 discount that was only available to its paid My Best Buy Plus members. But Amazon is now offering the first straight up cash discount for everyone with the base model 256GB 11-inch M4 iPad Pro down at $949.99 shipped. Regularly $999, this is $49 off, the best cash discount we have seen yet, and now, the lowest point of entry into Apple’s new M4, pro-grade tablet experience. As of right now, this deal is only available on the Wi-Fi version, but does land on both the Space Black and Silver models. Head below for more details.

First deals land on Apple’s new M2 iPad Air configs from $570: 11-inch 256GB $670, 13-inch models, more

These $29 price drops, much like the pre-order deals we spotted on Apple’s new iPad Pro M4 Magic Keyboard Case, might not be huge, but if you’re still planning on pre-ordering they are the first straight-up cash discounts and you might as well keep some cash in your wallet. Head below for more details and a closer look at the 11- and 13-inch configurations now on sale.

Pre-ordering Apple’s new iPad Pro M4 Magic Keyboard Case? Now slightly discounted on Amazon from $290

Apple debuted some new Magic Keyboard Cases for its 11- and 13-inch M4 iPad Pro this week, as we expected. Made for Apple’s “thinnest product Apple has ever created,” the new covers come in black or white, are now up for pre-order, and we are already tracking nice little early bird deal. Still up at full price on Best Buy and direct from Apple (obviously), Amazon is getting scrappy here and knocking $9 off the black 11-inch and 13-inch Apple Magic Keyboard Case for iPad Pro M4 at $289.99 and $339.99 shipped. With $299 and $349 MSRPs, Amazon is looking to drive early pre-order sales on its official listings of Apple’s latest pro-grade iPad accessories by slightly undercutting the competition, and we’re here for it. Okay, so yes, it is just $9, but if you’re going to pre-order one anyway you might as well keep some coffee money in your pocket for your first all-nighter M4-powered Final Cut editing session right?
