It only took a few weeks of using Alexa to make me want everything I own to offer some sort of integration with Amazon’s ever-popular voice assistant. One of the biggest trends of CES 2019 appears to be consumer-focused laser projectors. We’ve already seen familiar brands like Hisense and LG unveil their own home theater projection system this year. Now newcomer Vava is stepping up to the plate with its own 4K laser projector.

Dell’s Alienware division decided to make a huge announcement at CES 2019, claiming that it’ll be the first manufacturer to sell a laptop with a 240Hz display built-in. Alienware will also offer an OLED version of the m15 gaming laptop, for those who would prefer that.

Also on the OLED front, Alienware announced a 55-inch 4K gaming monitor (more like display at that size). This massive screen features a 120Hz refresh rate, which is rare on 4K OLED monitors like this. Truth be told, outside of the 4K monitor mounted to my desk, I have not really embraced UHD. While this is partly due to not typically seeing a large difference between 1080p and 4K streams, the main reason is a lack of other exciting features to push me over the edge and invest in new gear.
