Year after year, Walmart has earned its spot as one of the top places to check when it comes to locking in Black Friday deals. As a continuation of our coverage to ensure you’re ready to take on the Black Friday madness, we’re turning our attention to what to expect from 2019’s shopping festivities for the retailer. With notable doorbusters, free one-day shipping, and more, we’re anticipating that this year’s Black Friday sale at Walmart will be one of the best yet. So be sure to head below get a crash course on how to make the most of the various sales and promotions this year.
Update: Walmart’s Early Deal Drop is now live!
Black Friday news is starting to trickle in this week as retailers begin to ramp up for the holiday shopping season. Just yesterday, Best Buy announced a new free shipping policy. Today, one of the other significant retailers has unveiled its plans for Black Friday and beyond. Walmart will be kicking off the holiday madness this Friday, October 25th, at midnight EST to combat a “shorter holiday shopping season.” While Black Friday does fall later this year than usual, it’s tough to say we’re going to get fewer deals because of it. Nonetheless, Walmart is rolling out aggressive sales starting this weekend, and we have all the details down below.
For many of us, time is more valuable than money. With the official launch of InHome Delivery, Walmart is doing everything it can to put that time back in your day. While the service was announced early this summer, it took until now for the company to unleash the first rollout of it.
At launch it is limited to three cities, providing a leveled up grocery delivery service to over 1 million customers. Although the rollout is small, it’s arguably ahead of AmazonFresh as groceries get put away for you.

Walmart and Roku have teamed up to deliver the onn Roku Smart Soundbar and Wireless Subwoofer, two new and individually sold products. Both releases come roughly one year after Roku unveiled its Wireless Speakers during the 2018 holiday season. Roku’s new onn Smart Soundbar follows in the footsteps of Roku TV Wireless Speakers with similar features like automatic volume leveling and cable-free pairing.
SWAGTRON is back with a selection of new products, this time, however, as Walmart exclusives. You’ll find the SWAGTRON Swagboard Evo and Swagboard Hero hoverboards at your local Walmart soon with quite a few awesome features. The Evo offers multi-color LED wheels, headlights, and direction indicators with a max speed of 7mph and a weight capacity of 220 pounds. The Swagboard Hero will go 6mph and holds 155 pounds. Best of all? Prices start at $98 shipped.
$119Walmart offers the LIFX Tile HomeKit-enabled Smart Lighting System for $119.90 shipped. As a comparison, Best Buy is currently asking $250 and we’ve seen it as low as $135 at Amazon previously. This is the best price we’ve tracked to date. LIFX Tile delivers a unique take on smart home lighting with its build your own design capabilities. Each Tile can reproduce 16 million different colors with compatibility for HomeKit, Alexa, Google Assistant and more. Includes Command Strips for easy mounting. Rated 3.8/5 stars.
Amazon Prime Day has become a big deal. Not only have companies like eBay, Target, and Dell tried to cash in with sales of their own, Walmart has thrown its hat in the ring with a couple of notable differences that give it a leg up on Amazon.
Thousands of Walmart rollbacks and special buys will grace a sale that one-ups Amazon by starting a day earlier and lasting a total of three days. While no official Walmart rollbacks or other promotions have been publicized, customers should expect top-tier products to make an appearance in an attempt to distract from what Amazon has in store.

Following the official unveiling of its InHome Delivery grocery service earlier this month, Walmart is back at it again with a new yearly membership which looks Amazon Prime square in the eyes. Delivery Unlimited is launching in select markets for $98 annually as a means for the brick and mortar retailer to compete with Instacart, Target Shipt and Amazon’s continually expanding Whole Foods efforts. Today’s announcement moves shoppers away from the per-order delivery fee commonly associated with Walmart grocery purchases in favor of the annual membership, which is also available at $12.95 per month. Either way, Walmart is moving to cash in on its expansive retail footprint, which is an area Amazon will be playing catch up with a for long time. Head below for more details and a free 15-day trial.
Walmart has announced a bold new initiative this morning that will bring grocery delivery from the retail giant to a whole new level. Walmart InHome Delivery will give workers access to your home, allowing them to put your food directly into the fridge without shoppers even having to be in the house. There are a lot of questions, and rightly so, about security and keeping all parties involved safe along the way. Walmart looks to alleviate these concerns by outfitting delivery personnel with body cameras. Like Amazon’s Key service, shoppers will be able to monitor progress via an app whether at home or on-the-go. There’s a lot of moving pieces here, but for the brave at heart, you’ll be able to have Walmart delivery your groceries straight to the fridge. Head below for more.
If you’re still using a 1080p TV or maybe a smaller 4K unit, upgrading might seem daunting. While some 65-inch 4K TVs can be quite expensive, Walmart aims to bring 4K to the masses with its new ONN brand. Walmart isn’t just focusing on 4K here, the shopping mega giant has its hands in multiple areas from 24-inch 720p displays all the way to 65-inch 4K. Keep reading to find out more.
Walmart has announced this morning that it’s directly taking on Amazon’s upcoming Prime delivery changes with its own commitment to 1-day delivery. And in typical fashion, Walmart is making sure to point out that its own service will not require an additional membership, unlike Amazon. Today’s announcement comes after a decade long journey by the brick-and-mortar retail store to keep in step with Amazon and other online retailers for customers. Back 2011 Walmart introduced same day pick-up followed by two-day shipping in 2017. Seemingly every move Amazon has made during this time period has been met by a Walmart response. The question really is, does anyone care about Walmart NextDay delivery? We explore further below.
The new Spider-Man: Far From Home LEGO kits we got a first look at one month ago are finally available for purchase. Amazon is currently offering the LEGO Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back Action Battle Echo Base Defense for $49.99 shipped. Also available at Walmart for the same price. Normally selling for $60, that saves you $10 and drops the price to a new Amazon all-time low. This is the first price drop we’ve seen. We got our first look at this 504-piece set back in February at Toy Fair. It includes five minifigures and is based around two spring-loaded shooters, which activate various play features in the Hoth-themed build. Head below for more LEGO deals from $7.

Much like Apple does with its store catalog, Target reviews and curates the items that make it into its retail and online outlets. Target does this to make the shopping experience a high-end one by weeding out options that are of lesser quality. Naturally this approach has prevented it from letting third-parties sell on its website like Amazon and Walmart currently do.
The company has unveiled a solution that keeps customers from being overwhelmed but also allows it compete on some level. It is called Target Plus (displayed in marketing as Target +) and according to the company, third-party offerings will still be curated in an attempt to keep the shopping experience simple.
Modern Family star Sofia Vergara has recently launched an affordable denim and apparel collection at Walmart. Even better, the prices range from $20 for barware to $1,600 for furniture. Head below to find our top picks from the line.
Walmart is currently offering a two-pack of Google Home Max Assistant Speakers for $548 shipped. In order to lock in the deal, you’ll need to head to this page and select “build your bundle”, select the two speakers you’d like then add the bundle to your cart. Normally purchasing two of the devices would run you $700 at Best Buy or B&H. Today’s offer saves you $150 and comes within $12 of our previous mention. Google’s Hi-Fi Assistant Speaker offers access to everything you already love about the voice assistant, but with much higher-quality audio than the Home Mini. We think it’s “an absolutely fantastic speaker,” but if you don’t want to take our word for it, over. 100 customers have left a 4.6/5 star rating.

Ever since Amazon launched its Prime service back in 2005, it has been wreaking havoc on brick-and-mortar stores. With the ability to quickly find items, check reviews, and have most products delivered in two days or less, it is really not much of a surprise that Prime has surpassed 100 million subscribers. While many stores have tried to compete by launching better websites and offering free shipping on orders that exceed a certain threshold, Amazon is still king when it comes to online shopping. With Walmart’s acquisition of Jet.com back in 2016 and its major site refresh today, the company has shown that it is far from conceding to the online shopping giant.
