New customizable Redfall Xbox controllers have been unveiled. The release of the next Arkane is title is quickly approaching as Redfall is set to hit store shelves and digital storefronts on May 2. The Bethesda game studio – best known for its work in the immersive sim genre with brilliant titles like Dishonored and Prey – is spreading its wings to some degree with Redfall, blending its usual approach with the looter-shooter co-op genre much the same way Microsoft is doing with the new Redfall Limited Edition Controllers. As opposed to the usual new Microsoft controller styles we feature around here, the new Redfall Xbox controllers are actually part of Xbox Design Lab, so you can design them yourself – more details below.

A new Diablo IV Xbox bundle has emerged. Following a pair of beta tester weekends ahead of this summer’s release of Diablo IV, Microsoft has announced a new special Xbox bundle to mark the occasion. Taking to the official Xbox Wire this morning, Microsoft has now officially unveiled the new Xbox Series X – Diablo IV Bundle with some bonus in-game goodies, a copy of the game, and your standard issue Xbox Series X console setup. Following the launch of the new Stellar Shift model from last month, Microsoft is unveiling its new green Xbox controller today. Alongside the new Velocity Green wireless gamepad, there is also a matching green controller charger from Razer and an official hoodie on tap here today as well. Joining the flat base colorways like Shock Blue, Pulse Red, Deep Pink, and Electric Volt, the new green Xbox controller is now available for purchase directly from Microsoft along with the matching hoodie. Microsoft has now unveiled a new Xbox controller known as the Stellar Shift Special Edition. Microsoft took to the official Xbox Wire today to announce the latest entry in the Shift Special Edition series with a new shimmering blue-purple paint job to sit alongside the Aqua Shift and Lunar Shift two-tone models that were released last year. As announced on the official Xbox Wire today, Microsoft has now unveiled a new Xbox Series X bundle. Available for pre-order right now, the new package is officially known as the Xbox Series X and Forza Horizon 5 Premium Edition Bundle. And as the name suggests, it delivers Microsoft’s flagship home gaming console with a copy of Forza Horizon 5 Premium Edition alongside the plethora of goodies that version of its impressive racing title includes. Update 12/5/22: Xbox has now made it official – new games built for Series X|S will be seeing prices raise to $70 starting next year. Starting in 2023, titles made for Microsoft’s latest consoles, including the likes of Forza Motorsport, Redfall, and Starfield, will launch with a $70 MSRP in the US. Details on other titles and regions will presumably be coming shortly. Here’s what Microsoft had to say about the matter:

This price reflects the content, scale, and technical complexity of these titles…As with all games developed by our teams at Xbox, they will also be available with Game Pass the same day they launch.

It looks like Xbox price increases could be on the way. After Sony officially announced console price hikes in just about every region outside of the US this summer, many wondered whether or not Microsoft would follow suit with the Xbox ecosystem. Sony’s move marked the first time we have seen console price hikes this deep into the hardware cycle, and after recent comments made by CEO of Microsoft Gaming Phil Spender, it looks like Microsoft might not be immune to global inflationary conditions after all. Update: Microsoft has now unveiled its next new official Xbox wireless gamepad colorway, the Xbox Wireless Controller – Lunar Shift Special Edition. It is the same current-generation controller you know with a design inspired by the “aura of the moon” that “shifts from silver to gold when the light hits it just right.” Pre-orders are now live at $69.99 shipped. 

Just after unveiling its latest pro-grade Xbox Elite 2 Core controller, Microsoft has now taken to the official Xbox Wire to announce the new Mineral Camo Special Edition Controller. While it has been a little bit since we saw Microsoft introduce a new colorway to the standard edition, current-generation Xbox gamepad lineup, the latest has now arrived. It features the company’s newest take on the camo pattern, joining the already available Night Ops Camo, Arctic Camo, and Daystrike Camo variants. After Sony introduced the new DualSense Edge, Microsoft has now unveiled a new Xbox Elite 2 Core controller. More of an update to the existing Xbox pro controller (in some ways), which will seemingly remain in the current-generation lineup, the Xbox Elite Wireless Controller Series 2 Core base model comes in at a more affordable price tag than its predecessor with interchangeable sticks, domes, and more that are purchased separately. The new official pink Xbox controller is now available for pre-order. Microsoft unleashed the latest addition to its current-generation Xbox wireless controllers recently with the vibrant Deep Pink colorway. It’s joined by the matching Razer magnetic Quick Charging Stand. This controller joins the existing lineup, which includes the shiny Aqua Shift treatment we saw unveiled last summer.
