The latest Pokémon TCG expansion is hitting stores today, with the very first set featuring cards from Scarlet and Violet now on shelves. The Walt Disney Company is preparing to celebrate its “100 Years of Wonder” as the company turns 100 years old. While there will be plenty of merchandise available online and in its theme parks, there is one item that I don’t think many saw coming. Leica has spent the last 100 years developing “precise optical instruments which have revolutionized the world of imaging many times over” and has ties to the earliest days of when Walt Disney was hand-drawing cartoons. Leica (called Leitz at the time) cameras and projectors were used to capture the storyboards that animations are made from, and now the two companies are working together again. As part of the “100 Years of Wonder,” Leica is creating a special limited-edition run of its Q2 camera with a Disney skin. If you’ve not heard of Voxelab, well, the company is a sub-brand to FlashForge, one of the larger 3D printer manufacturers out there. Today we’re getting a first look at one of the year’s least exciting LEGO Star Wars sets. Zelda Tears of the Kingdom Switch console pre-orders will begin soon. Not to take anything away from the particular amazing looking Fuse system and crafting Nintendo highlighted in this morning’s gameplay video, but the new Zelda Tears of the Kingdom OLED Switch was easily one of the highlights of today’s official Nintendo presentation. Twelve South’s BookBook cover may very well be one of the brand’s most iconic releases of all-time, and today the company is bringing those signature stylings to Apple’s latest iPad form-factor. New Zelda Tears of the Kingdom gameplay is now officially on the way. Cutting it about as close as you could imagine, Nintendo has finally announced the long-awaited and expected Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom Nintendo Direct! The game is, as of right now, still expected to release on May 12, 2023 and Nintendo has now finally announced we will be getting a solid chunk of new gameplay tomorrow morning. While we’re used to seeing the “Designed for Xbox” sticker on controllers and other console accessories, there is now a new contender entering the arena that I don’t think anyone saw coming. ViewSonic is now unveiling the X1-4K and X2-4K, the “world’s first ‘Designed for Xbox’ projectors.” The two models share essentially the same feature sets with the X1-4K being a standard throw model and the X2-4K having a shorter throw distance. You’ll be able to playback your movies on a 100-inch screen at 4K60Hz and then crank it up to 240Hz at 1080p when it’s game time. Did you know that Lululemon carries shoes? They currently offer five different styles, and all of the shoes were made for the women’s foot in mind. The brand just launched a new and improved style called the blissfeel 2 Running Shoe. When the Drop Sense75 was announced last fall with some reviews of the prototype version of the board going live from well-known keyboard enthusiasts, it did not go well. Priced at $350 for the black colorway or $400 for the Polar White that we have here, the sound didn’t live up to the ultra-premium price point.
