Call of Duty Warzone has finally been made official. While early speculation and a series of leaks (including gameplay footage) seemed to point what looked like a battle royale mode for Modern Warfare, now that the dust has settled we can confirm Warzone as being an entirely standalone experience. Something that’s becoming more commonplace is independent game studios launching stunning titles instead of that being something only AAA companies provide. Well, In Other Waters is the latest announcement from Fellow Traveler, one such indie studio that’s launched several games in the past. Originally launched as a Kickstarter game, In Other Waters is slated to hit Steam on PC/Mac as well as Nintendo Switch this spring.
The Final Fantasy VII demo of the PS4 remake is now available for free on PSN. Seemingly popping up out of nowhere very early this morning, Square Enix is now allowing gamers to try their hand at one of the most highly-anticipated remakes ever. While we have seen our fair share of notable do-overs for modern generation consoles as of late — Capcom’s stellar Resident Evil 2 comes to mind — the hype on the legendary FFVII remake has been like none other. This might not be the complete version of the game we were hoping for (more details below), but you can now head back to Midgard to experience an early build of one of the most epic remakes in gaming history. Nintendo has now unveiled a new pink Switch Lite console. Well, it’s officially known as Coral, but a new colorway nonetheless. Nintendo officially announced the handheld-only version of its latest console in the summer of last year before its release in the fall. This update is for veterans and newcomers alike and will be a free update to all existing owners, including those who play State of Decay 2 on Xbox Game Pass. StarCraft Ghost is one of those games of legend that never really saw the light of day. Initially announced way back in 2002, the game had a tumultuous development with a series of delays, various developers taking a shot at it, and other issues. By the time 2005 rolled around, Blizzard had put the game on hold and later officially canceled the title some 6-years ago now. What seemed like it would fade into the gaming abyss with thousands of other unfinished titles has now resurfaced and, at least to some degree, in playable form. Nintendo is known for its indie game titles. Not only will you find AAA games like The Witcher, Mario, Doom, Skyrim, and more available for Switch, but there are a plethora of titles that are built by independent development studios, and gamers love them. The latest entry into Nintendo’s Switch catalog is dubbed Snack World: The Dungeon Crawl — Gold, which is a unique game that brings fourth-wall-breaking rogue like RGB characteristics with plenty of snark and food puns.
After initially hearing about the rare Nintendo PlayStation auction, we suggested that it could sell for over a million dollars. While it has yet to go that far, the listing is well over a third of the way there with 20-days left until the final bid seals the deal. As of this moment the price rests at $350,000 which is still underneath the $471,000 fetched by a functional Apple-1. Among the list of interested buyers is Palmer Luckey who is known as the founder Oculus VR. Today, Ubisoft announced that it’s bringing Prince of Persia back in an all-new way. The title that strifes nostalgia into your heart is being reborn as a virtual reality escape game, dubbed “The Dagger of Time.” Coming this spring, you’ll be able to play in a team of up to four players to solve puzzles and use artifact powers to stop, rewind, and fast-forward time.

Apex Legends is getting ready to enter its fourth season and is bringing with it quite a few new features.
