F-Zero for Switch Online is now available to subscribers. Nintendo announced the latest addition to its N64 Switch Online Expansion Pass earlier this week and gamers should see F-Zero available in their N64 library now. The classic futuristic racer comes by way of the pricier N64 tier some folks weren’t particularly happy about, but Nintendo has been regularly adding new titles like Legend of Zelda Majora’s Mask and Banjo-Kazooie to help sweeten the value proposition. We just recently took a hands-on look at the 1/16 scale 1942 RepliCades from New Wave Toys, but now it’s time for the brand’s new mini arcade machines. Sony is set to kick off the next State of Play showcase event right now with latest details on new PlayStation games. After taking to the official PlayStation Blog earlier this week, Sony is ready unleash the latest “reveals and eye-catching updates for PS5 and PS4 titles.” The show is set to clock in at around 20 minutes or so, and everything is going to kick off right now. Today we are taking a look at the new 8Bitdo Xbox Controller. While we have seen 8Bitdo models that work nicely with Microsoft consoles, like the customizable Pro 2, this marks the first time the brand has specifically designed a gamepad with that traditional asymmetric Xbox look and feel. A FREE Kirby and the Forgotten Land demo has arrived. While we await more of the 30th anniversary content from Nintendo and the official March 25, 2022 release date of Kirby’s next adventure, Nintendo Switch owners can now jump in to Kirby and the Forgotten Land for FREE as part of a just-released demo. The game is already up for pre-order in its complete form with a notable $5 price drop on Amazon, but this is great chance to get hands-on to see what all of the new copy and transform abilities have in-store. Today we are taking a look at the new LifeProof Eco-Friendly Apple Watch Case for the Series 7 wearables. Today we are taking look at the new NES console meets synthesizer from artist Love Hultén. We have featured a number of Hultén’s wild designs over the year, not the least of which is this custom retro gaming coffee table, but today it’s all about the new NES-SY37. This is a one-off conceptual piece, and, much like the rest of the Hultén creations, is a sight to behold, combining retro aesthetics with clean lines to create a one-of-a-kind NES synthesizer and console. A collection of private data from NVIDIA has hit the internet as part of a recent cyberattack suggesting Nintendo Switch 2 might already be in development in some way, shape or form. That Nintendo Switch Pro rumor that surfaced several times last year and even before that never quite came true, yet. The new OLED model of Nintendo’s hybrid console that was unveiled last summer before hitting store shelves in October brought with it an impressive new display alongside some other light enhancements over the base model, but it wasn’t quite the Pro model or Nintendo Switch 2 some gamers were hoping for. After seeing its new AudioBox GO interface at the top of the month, PreSonus is back at it again with the announcement of a dynamic USB-C microphone. More details on Sony’s Game Pass competitor have surfaced. As reported by Bloomberg back in December, Sony is planning to rival Microsoft’s Game Pass ecosystem with a new service of its own that combines PlayStation Plus and PlayStation Now, which is internally known as Spartacus. The folks over at GamesBeat have now uncovered some particulars about the supposedly upcoming service including pricing and what each of the three subscription tiers will include.

Today we are getting our first look at the actual PlayStation VR2 headset. After Sony teased specs on its upcoming next-generation VR rig back in January alongside the Horizon Call of the Mountain launch title, it has taken to the official PlayStation Blog to unveil the actual hardware. The new Street Fighter game has been revealed. More accurately teased, but Capcom has now confirmed that development on Street Fighter 6 is in the works. It has been six long years since Street Fighter 5 made its debut back in 2016, and after several updates and DLC additions to the core experience, Capcom is ready to move on to the next numbered entry in the long-running fighting franchise. We have spotted some Nintendo 3DS game deals alongside some eShop exclusives and freebies you might want to consider grabbing now. Have you ever wanted to see a proper BioShock movie? Well, Netflix is now on the job according to a couple official tweets it sent out today. After just recently readying the launch of the Cuphead Show, Netflix is dipping back into the world of gaming for what appears to be a new live-action BioShock movie. Netflix, 2K, and Take-Two Interactive announced today that it will be joining forces to, presumably, recreate the incredible underwater city of Rapture and the metropolis in the sky known as Columbia featured in the beloved BioShock series. There’s no word of series creator Ken Levine being attached to the protect as of yet, but it doesn’t look like that will be the case. Head below for more. 

After seeing the Xbox-certified model go on sale this morning, Seagate is now readying a special Edition Horizon Forbidden West Game Drive for PlayStation gamers. The latest entry in the Horizon series is just days away from launching, and review scores already have it as one of the better PS5 titles in the library. Seagate is looking to jump on the bandwagon with a special edition version of its Game Drive – an external hard drive specially geared towards providing gamers with additional storage for their libraries. The new FREE Cyberpunk 2077 upgrade features are now live alongside a FREE trial for folks looking to give the game another shot. Cyberpunk 2077 was one of the most highly-anticipated titles in years before disappointing gamers everywhere with what could only be described as a buggy and disastrous launch on previous generation machines. Well, developer CD Projekt Red hosted a live stream today with loads of new upgraded features for the game and presumably a more stable update to redeem itself. All things considered, folks that did get a chance to play the game at least somewhat bug-free were mostly impressed, so this is a great time to give the potentially-epic game another shot, or at least to dive into the free trial to see if it’s worth investing in. You can now download the official EarthBound Player’s Guide from Nintendo. While there’s still no Mother 3 to speak of, Nintendo did bring the beloved EarthBound and EarthBound Beginnings to its Switch SNES and NES Online libraries for subscribers. This was easily one of the most exciting bits from a Nintendo Direct filled with notable announcements – new Mario Kart 8 courses, Switch Sports, and more – and it has now made the legendary EarthBound Player’s Guide available to all. It has been a big month for Nintendo fans after an exciting Direct presentation, a series of upcoming Mario Kart 8 courses, and more, but now it’s time to dive into the new Switch Sports. As a sequel to the best-selling Nintendo game of all-time, Wii Sports, Nintendo is looking to re-capture some of the magic from its motion-controlled blockbuster from way back in 2006 with an updated version for its current-generation hardware. After selling well over 82 million copies, and now that Switch has finally overtaken the console it was made for in sales, it seems a fitting time for Switch sports to make a triumphant return. PreSonus has now unveiled one of the most affordable audio interfaces out there with its new AudioBox GO. You will find some less expensive options out there from lesser-known brands or older models like this Behringer model from years ago, but when it comes to reputable audio companies with a pair of inputs for microphones and instruments, the AudioBox GO is certainly one of the lowest prices of entry around. The PlayStation Plus February FREE games are now available for download, but Sony has now just announced a free multiplayer weekend for folks without a subscription. A new Valentine’s Day weekend promotion will allow for multiplayer action on PS4 and PS5 games for FREE without the usually required PlayStation Plus subscription for a limited time to celebrate the holiday. Well, the first Nintendo Direct presentation of the year has arrived with the new Switch games set to hit in the first half of the year. As we mentioned in our announcement coverage, Nintendo is scheduling around 40 minutes of straight updates and preview looks at what’s to come between now and, presumably, June of 2022. While it’s hard to say what exactly Nintendo will be showing off when it comes to new Switch games, Kirby and the Forgotten Land and quite possibly more of Advance Wars 1+2: Re-Boot Camp will likely be on the docket. Although it’s the surprises that have us most excited, the guessing game is over now so head below to follow along with today’s Nintendo Direct presentation. 

While some folks are still trying to get their hands on Sony’s latest-generation of gaming, PS5 voice command support is on the way. The new “Hey PlayStation” feature will be available as part of the latest beta test for Sony’s hard-to-get home console starting today, alongside a host of additional features. Today’s rollout marks the second major PS5 software beta and essentially the first time participants will see the PS5 voice command support in play. Head below for additional details.

Today we are diving into our review of the Positive Grid RIFF guitar audio interface. Positive Grid is best known for its intelligent smart guitar amp products that offer instrumentalists a wonderful practice and recording setup tightly integrated with the brand’s wealth of high-tech jam-along and tone emulation software. The next Grand Theft Auto game is on the way! GTA 6 is now confirmed to be in development. Anytime developer Rockstar makes a move it is an important one, but there’s nothing quite like the excitement behind the next entry in the Grand Theft Auto series. Speculation has been running wild for more than a while now on where Rockstar would take the series next, and while things are still under wraps, the storied developer has just confirmed GTA 6 (or whatever it will be called) is indeed in the works. Targus just unveiled its new iPad stylus. The brand is known for everything from laptop cases and bags to low-tech stylus solutions and other accessories but is now offering a more premium writing and drawing solution for iPad users.
