Well, both Xbox and Sony have broadcasted their first game showcases of the year, and you know what that means – Nintendo is next. It appears as though the folks over at Respawn Entertainment are currently in the process of developing a first-person Star Wars Mandalorian game, according to Insider Gaming. Microsoft has now officially announced an upcoming Xbox business update event for later this week. Amazon has now now launched a new sale event featuring a wide-range of ASUS PC gaming gear includes mice, keyboards, and more. But first let’s take a look at the deals on its ROG Raikiri PC and Xbox gamepads. You’ll find the regularly $170 Raikiri Pro with the built-in OLED display with customizable animations, heads-up status indicators, and profile switching down at $129 shipped. This one fetches as much as $170 at Best Buy and is usually closer to $150 Amazon. One of only a few discounts we have seen since release last fall, this is the second-best price we have tracked, having only been beaten once over the Black Friday festivities. That deal joins the ASUS ROG Raikiri base model controller at $89 shipped. After updating its grip lineup with a new magnetic form-factor last year, we are now tracking a deep deal on the PopSockets MagSafe PopWallet at just $9.99 via Woot. The PopWallet provides a MagSafe card holder solution that snaps directly to the back of your iPhone 12 through 15 – it also ships with a MagSafe ring attachment for other handsets. Update: The Final Fantasy VII Rebirth FREE demo has now been officially confirmed for release today on PSN. You can download it right now. In addition to the demo available today, a section of the game’s Junon region will be playable in the demo at some point between today and the game’s release later this month starting on February 21.

During last week’s State of Play many expected to see some new footage or details on the upcoming Final Fantasy VII Rebirth – the second-half of the long-awaited ground-up remake of the legendary RPG – but Sony decided to host a dedicated showcase for the game instead. That stream is scheduled for later today at 3:30 p.m. PT/6:30 p.m. ET with over 19 minutes of new details and gameplay footage for the upcoming remake ahead of its official release on February 29, 2024.
