Okay Nintendo fans, we have some bitter but mostly pretty sweet news coming from the Mushroom Kingdom today. After years (what feels like a lifetime) of rumors and supposed leaks at the Nintendo Switch successor, we have some official confirmation from Nintendo today. Whether it’s the fabled Nintendo Switch Pro, Switch 2, or otherwise, Nintendo has now confirmed an imminent announcement “about the successor to Nintendo Switch” alongside confirmation of this year’s big Nintendo summer games showcase. While all of the focus might be on the new iPads and Apple Pencil today, the new AD-6IN1 hub Plugable iMac hub has arrived. Today, Samsung has announced that it is expanding its 2024 OLED smart TV lineup with the new “entry-level” S85D series. It is currently starting at over $45 on Amazon where it has never dropped below $40. For those unfamiliar, this one comes from the developers of the Dark Souls series and Elden Ring. AC6 marks a return for the long-running series as well as a new beginning in some ways. It is a departure from the dev’s more recent Soulsborne formula, but fans of the mech battle series (and games like it) will want to take a closer look, especially while it’s 50% off. There’s a particularly deep pilot and mech customization system in place, alongside a super fast-paced combat action across a series of missions set on the planet Rubicon 3. After a few major, and more than just loose rumor, reports over the last few months, it would appear the PS5 Pro is all but imminent now.
