Update: Madden NFL 25 for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X is now at the $47.99 Amazon low. You’ll also find EA’s College Football 25 down at the same price right now.

Update: While the code below was working for us earlier, this may have been a mistake and it now looks as though QVC has shut it down.

While some of the big-time price drops we spotted on game deals at QVC have come and gone, we have an even better one on the new Super Mario Party: Jamboree ahead of release on October 17. New QVC customers (or the new account you just made) can land the game down at $39.99 shipped ahead of release using code WELCOME20 at checkout. Regularly $60 and currently out of stock at Amazon, this is the lowest price we have tracked yet and, frankly, a notable price for any brand new Switch game. This one debuted during Nintendo’s major summer Direct event as one of the big titles in its holiday release schedule and now’s your chance to secure a copy at what will likely be on par with the best we see all year – new Nintendo releases rarely ever go for less than this in the first six months or so.

Rare chance to save on the PlayStation Portal Remote Player at $162 (Open-box, full warranty)

Best Buy’s open-box listing in excellent condition with a full 1-year warranty is now sitting down at $161.99 shipped. Navigate to this page, choose the excellent condition option, and then scroll down and choose shipping before adding to the cart. While that’s a not massive markdown from the usual $199 price tag, deals on this thing are rare at best. Still up at the full MSRP on Amazon where it has never dropped below $195 in brand new condition, the best renewed price we can find there has it going for $179.99, and that’s from a third-party seller.

Today’s game deals: Final Fantasy VII Rebirth $50, Super Mario RPG $32, and more

Reg. $70 $50

If you haven’t picked up a copy of the next adventure in the remake of Final Fantasy VII yet, Walmart is offering Rebirth down at $49.94 shipped. Regularly $70, this one is still fetching full price at Best Buy and Amazon with today’s offer being the lowest price we can find right now. This one has only ever gone on sale once at Amazon for reference, and that was a brief offer at $55. You’re looking at the second entry into Square Enix’s massive ground-up remake project of the beloved and iconic Final Fantasy VII, for those unfamiliar. Cloud and the gang have finally made it out of Midgar and out into the open-world – it isn’t a 1:1 remake of the original, loaded with extra content and story details along the way, but it is a wonderful experience for those diving in for the first time or looking to make a return for something new (having said that, I highly recommend you give the original a shot some day too).
