Warframe is getting its latest cinematic expansion, The New War. The entirety of the Origin System will “be forever scarred by the coming conflict.” You’ll find the Sentients, a “sinister race of relentlessly-evolving machines”, are at the center of this all-out war of extinction. While some folks weren’t overly pleased with the more expensive tier, Nintendo has just added some new SEGA Switch Online games to the Expansion package to make it more digestible. Nintendo launched the more pricey option for its Switch Online eco-system back in October, bringing some absolutely classic titles from its beloved Nintendo 64 library to NSO alongside some brilliant SEGA games with matching wireless gamepads (you have literally a few hours maximum to enter our FREE giveaway of the hard-to-get wireless N64 controller). Ark: Survival Evolved has been, well, evolving over the course of its life. In the latest DLC to Ark, you’ll find a number of “firsts” for the game, including the first community map, three new creatures (which were also handled by the community), and much more. The game development company Ubisoft is well-known for its Splinter Cell franchise that launched 19 years ago. It was one of the company’s first forays into the world of stealth-action shooters, and it all but defined a generation of gaming. Personally, I vastly prefer the stealth genre that Splinter Cell ushered in over the fast-paced run, die, respawn of some modern titles. Well, Ubisoft Toronto just began rebuilding the game from the ground up. That’s right, Splinter Cell is being remade, though it’ll be a bit different from the remaster. Update 5/17/21: After showing off the full range of PlayStation console covers back in December 2021, Sony has now taken to the official PlayStation Blog with details on the rest of the lineup going up for pre-order. The Starlight Blue, Galactic Purple, and Nova Pink colorways, that already having matching DualSense controllers, are now available for pre-order directly from the PlayStation Store online “for customers in the US, UK, France, Germany, Belgium, Netherlands, and Luxembourg.” They will begin shipping on June 17, 2021. 

New and very much official PS5 console covers are on the way from Sony alongside some additional colorways of its DualSense controller. Now joining the previously released Cosmic Red and Midnight Black, Sony has now unveiled new accessories coming to its PlayStation 5 lineup with Nova Pink, Starlight Blue, and Galactic Purple controllers and PS5 console covers. PUBG: Battlegrounds really kickstarted the popularity of the battle royale genre back in 2017 when it launched. This time around, it’s Xbox 360 Forum Mid, with a classic Adidas look that’s paired with Xbox 360 branding. The news broke via Xbox Wire a few hours ago, and a listing for Xbox 360 Forum Mid is already live. Today, Apex Legends announced its first new map since Season 7 in November of last year. Storm Point, the latest map coming in Season 11 Escape, introduces a number of new gameplay elements and other factors that will change how you play Apex Legends. It’s the biggest map to date, around 15% larger than World’s Edge, and is based on the planet Gaea, which houses a long-forgotten IMC research base. Dbrand has now unveiled a new, redesigned set of PlayStation 5 face plates, or Darkplates as they are officially known. The new designs come just days after legal action from Sony forced the brand to remove the previous-generation models from its website.
