The 2024 PlayStation Days of Play sale has arrived. As per the official announcement yesterday morning, Sony is once again launching its wide-ranging pre-summer PlayStation event loaded with additions to the PS Plus library, price drops on membership upgrades, activities throughout the PlayStationverse, a fresh batch of freebies for subscribers, and deals…plenty of deals. From discounts on PS5 hardware and PlayStation VR2 setups, everything is scheduled to go live early this morning and throughout the day at various retailers online including Best Buy, Amazon, and more. Now joining the massive collection of price drops we are tracking for Memorial Day weekend, Amazon is now offering some notable discounts on Google Pixel Watch 2 at $299.99 shipped in various styles. This is the latest wearable from Google that typically fetches $350 and is now matching the lowest price we have tracked on Amazon outside of a quick drop to $292 for the holidays last year (in select colors for about a day or two). Well it might not be quite as exciting as what some are calling the AirPods Max killers Sonos just officially debuted and put up for pre-order, but the lauded audio brand has now officially launched its new Roam 2 speaker as well. Okay, the (not so) FineWoven has not gone over well, but if you ask me, the official Apple Silicone Cases remain a solid option for folks with a penchant for first-party accessories. Over at Amazon today, we have spotted some price drops on a range of different colors options for iPhone 15, 15 Plus, and 15 Pro nearing 50% in savings in some cases. While some folks might already be set for iPhone 15 cases, with an eye on the upcoming 16 series handsets from Cupertino, some might rather stick with the current-gen and skip over to what could be the iPhone 17 Ultra  – the next iPhone X moment. Tarnished preparing to (die) embark on the Land of Shadow finally got a first look at the highly-anticipated new Elden Ring Shadow of the Erdtree expansion back in February, and they will again today. We have been clocking some notable pice drops on the new oversized 2024 model Hisense Google smart TVs over the last week or so, but now price drops are landing on just about all of the new U series models starting from $450 shipped. Nintendo is taking it way back with its latest additions to the Switch Online game library, and I mean way back, like late ‘80s back. It won’t be long now until we get our first good look at the next major installment in the long-running Ubisoft stealth-action-RPG-parkour series (or whatever it is these days), Assassin’s Creed Shadows is set to debut this week. Regularly $599 and $749, you’re looking at straight up $150 price drops that mark a return to some of the lowest prices we have tracked on my personal favorite iPad to date. For comparison’s sake, both models are on sale at Best Buy for $50 more right now. Yes, the new M2 models are available for pre-order and will begin shipping next week, but if you’re looking to bring your spending down, the M1 models are up to $150 less pricey right now. The new ASUS ROG Ally second-generation handheld is imminent, and today’s is likely the day we get some hard details. The original and currently available handheld isn’t perfect, but it is pretty solid as well as being one of the more affordable models on the market (it has regularly gone on sale like it is right now at $400). After an announcement something new would hit in 2024 alongside a teaser thereafter, including what appeared to be an image of the next-generation model a couple days ago, the brand looks to be set to stream (some of) the details today!
