Sony has now taken to its official blog to announce its new LeBron James PlayStation accessories. With four championships on the shelf and after becoming the NBA’s all-time leading scorer, LeBron is now linking up with PlayStation once again for some specially-designed PS5 accessories. As part of the PlayStation Playmakers program, today Sony is announcing “a limited edition PlayStation 5 console cover and DualSense wireless controller collaboratively designed with PlayStation Playmaker, sports icon, philanthropist, entrepreneur (and part-time God of War), LeBron James.” Head below for a closer look and more details. 

It’s time for some new PS5 games and more of what’s on the way for the just-released PS VR2. It has been a busy week in the world of PlayStation to say the least, but we aren’t finished just yet. PlayStation VR2 launch day has finally arrived! The latest iteration of PlayStation’s VR system is officially launching worldwide today. It has been a long time coming for Sony’s next-generation PS VR2 system. After being officially unveiled almost two years ago now for the first time, we got our first look at the headset in February 2022 and now, exactly one year later, PlayStation VR2 has finally landed. The official launch of PlayStation VR2 is just a couple weeks away now. After years of leaks, news announcements, and the like, the next-generation of Sony’s virtual reality experience is officially on the horizon. Back in January Sony dished up all the details on the launch game lineup alongside the reveal of 13 new titles, and today it has taken to the official PlayStation Blog to essentially roundup everything you need to know about PS VR2 ahead of this month’s release. Trying to get a PlayStation 5 console over the last year or more has not been fun. Directly from Sony has been the best as of late, but it now sounds as though additional stock is on the way. After the official launch of the DualSense Edge controller and the release of PS VR2 on the horizon now, Sony is looking to reassure prospective PlayStation console buyers with what sounds to be some encouraging news on the PlayStation 5 console shortage front. Head below for more details. 

Update: Sony has now confirmed the DualSense Edge will be “offered at other participating retailers starting February 23, 2023.”

DualSense Edge launch day has arrived. After being unveiled last summer before going up for pre-order directly from Sony a few months later in October, the official DualSense Edge controller is now ready for prime time. Deliveries to pre-order customers are presumably beginning to ship out starting today, and we might very well see listings go live outside of the Sony online storefront at some point throughout the day.
