The Nintendo OREO cookie campaign isn’t done just yet folks. A few weeks back, the two brands came together to launch special OREO cookies embossed with characters and items from the Mushroom Kingdom, and now they are back with the special-edition Princess Peach snacks. While the original Nintendo OREO cookies are still available for purchase on Amazon (currently on sale for $3.50 Prime shipped), it’s going to be much more difficult to land the Princess Peach packs. Ubisoft has pushed the launch date of the upcoming Assassin’s Creed Mirage up. In a fun but potentially concerning turn of events, a AAA console game (and I use this term loosely in this case) from a giant publisher/developer is coming out ahead of schedule. The game, which takes place in Baghdad this time around, was originally slated to hit store shelves in digital services everywhere on October 12, has now been bumped ahead 1 week according to tweets from Sony and announcements from Ubisoft today. The more compact and tighter Assassin’s Creed experience is still up for pre-order at $50 and you can get more details down below. 

Ahead of Overwatch 2: Invasion dropping later this week, we’re now getting an official look at the game’s newest hero. Meet Illari! The new healer will join the forces of Overwatch as a unique new addition to the support class with healing totems, a massive rail gun, and all kinds of sun-inspired imagery. New Pokémon Switch Online games are on the way – Pokémon Stadium 2 and Trading Card Game are headed to Switch Online starting today. As announced during today’s Pokémon presentation, some new pocket monster titles are headed to Nintendo’s Switch Online Game Boy and N64 libraries. While they might not be the Pokémon Game Boy titles most folks were hoping for, they are still notable addition to the offerings if you ask me. Both titles are scheduled to arrive on the platform starting today for Switch Online and Expansion Pack members. Head below for more details.

Well, it’s about that time of year and Activision has now teased the next Call of Duty. While this is just the beginning of the official reveal, the publisher has now confirmed Call of Duty Modern Warfare III will land on November 10 this year, confirming much of the rumors we spotted previously. Judging by the initial roll out here, it will presumably launch on that day on PlayStation and Xbox consoles alongside PC (although nothing has been specifically confirmed here on platform-specific launch dates). Red Dead Redemption for Nintendo Switch is officially on the way now. It tends to take a while before Rockstar’s beloved and behemoth open world titles make their way on to Nintendo hardware, but we now know the epic Red Dead Redemption is arriving very soon. A new trailer posted on both the official Rockstar site and the Nintendo UK YouTube page confirms as much, stating that both the Undead Nightmare DLC and the game proper will land on Nintendo Switch later this month come August 17, 2023. In partnership with the folks at SEGA, PowerA is introducing a new range of Sonic the Hedgehog gaming accessories. 8Bitdo has unveiled its latest gaming accessory in the form of the new Retro Mechanical Keyboard. In true 8Bitdo fashion, it is delivering on the vintage Nintendo vibes with a design heavily inspired by vintage NES and Famicom hardware that looks like it could have come out alongside the original home consoles back in the mid-1980s. Reports suggest we might very well see the next-gen Nintendo console as early as next year. The July PlayStation Plus free games have been officially unveiled. Some new SEGA Switch Online games are launching today. Nintendo has now taken to its official Twitter feed to unveil the next batch of SEGA Genesis titles landing in its Switch Online library. While most folks are still reeling of the announcement of the new Super Mario Bros. Pikmin 4 is set to release next month on July 21. Ahead of time, Nintendo invited me to come check out what the fourth installment of the franchise is all about. Last Thursday, I got to spend over an hour and a half playing Pikmin 4, exploring all there is to be excited about from the upcoming game. Here are my first impressions on the story mode, refreshed gameplay, and the new Dandori Battle versus mode, alongside nearly 10 minutes of new footage from the game.
